  • I went dollar bin diving at a local shop called Most Wanted Comics, located in Bloomington, Minnesota. They have a great dollar box section where you can find everything from current series to early Bronze Age titles. In today's video, I'll show you what I picked up. CHECK IT OUT!

Tom Strong's apearance in the Terrifics was a nice surprise. The girl in the red shirt to his right is his daughter. He's a great character.

Although, I don't care for modern comics I do enjoy how you articulate each one and the reasons you are collecting them. Marvel's Greatest Comics issues are the ones I first started collecting as a kid because they were so cheap because no one cared about them.

Always enjoy seeing what you grab at the dollar bins! Surprised at a little smaller bundle this time than usual, but still great books!
I'm honestly torn on the unsorted bins. The shop I go to does the same and while it's absolutely a thrill not knowing what the next book is, the time it takes to look gets a little much. That said, I can definitely understand why they don't sort. The time it would take would make dollar books $3 books just to cover the manpower!
The shop I like to frequent literally has about 100 long boxes of dollar books. I definitely do not expect them to sort them! But it'd still be awesome if they did! Mainly because for me, they're 2 hours away and I don't have the time to go back multiple days unfortunately.
There's my 2 cents for what it's worth! Thanks for all the videos!

I guess I can’t expect to find a short box worth of books every time right!?!
I get the time factor for sure. It’d go a lot faster if they were alphabetized. Just got back from a trip home to visit family in NJ and carved out a little time to visit some local shops. Hit 3 stores. 2 had unsorted dollar boxes. I could have gotten a lot further if they were in order. For example, the one shop owner told me she had 30 more boxes in back if I had the time. I wish!
Have a happy and safe 4th!

I think I have the first 20-something issues of Savage Dragon. It's ok. Superman/Batman I would imagine they did all 6 issue arcs as it's easier to collect one story in a trade. I agree with you on the reprints. It IS a cheaper way to read and have those great old issues. I have started to go this route! I should have came to my senses 30 years ago!

You’re right on Superman/Batman. It was indeed a 6 issue story. Fortunately, I have the other 3 already!

Good reminder of that Robin and Batman limited series. I did indeed find it in a discount bin a while back!
