Eric came through. most of the Simonson run can be found in the bargain bins but the Throg issue is a tough one. man i'm happy for you to add the Beta Ray issue to the collection as a fellow Simonson Thor fan. the original is so much better than the True Believer or Facsimile. i found some good Marvel Spectacular Thor reprints in the bins recently.

Great haul i been getting that aliens vs avengers great story from Jonathan Hickman

i picked up that Ms Marvel One Shot back when it came out, it's a fun read with good art and pirate character designs. Dennis Hallum used to go by the name Dennis Hopeless, not sure why the change. Bushido Blade Walrus has surprisingly good art. keep up the good work.

It’s about finding affordable comics for a collection if you don’t read comics anymore. Even looking for great covers as I have been doing lately it can be expensive for a common man with limited income. Went to NYCC and picked up a few great covers, should have jumped on more as so far haven’t located more of same. Won’t let that happen again.

Always a great feeling finding that one elusive book that you've been needing! Doesn't have to be big money, it's just that success that feels so good! I had that with an X-factor #60 something that I found just a few weeks ago. It was the one book I was missing in the run that I was wanting to complete for a couple years. I was stoked for sure! And then, a couple boxes over, same day, I found it again! 🤣 Congrats on some great books! Appreciate the preview of things to come as well! Can't wait

Marvel Trivia: John Carter, Warlord of Mars was canceled following issue #24 (May '79), only to return 2 months later (#25, July). The letter columns talked about it. So that's why "He's Back!" appears on the cover of #25, a short-lived cancellation... !

I also totally understand if you don't want to do that a whole lot because of awkwardness. Not sure I could do it! As you were thumbing I saw those new defenders books and I keep going back and forth on those myself. Those painted covers bring back some memories and make me want to grab them again but I haven't yet. So glad you got those last three issues of Hawkeye! Great haul , i been working on my west coast avengers

So many books! I've been slowly working on that Fallen Angels series as well. I didn't really look into that one as a kid either. Wasn't sure what it was about when it first released and didn't really care for the new Mutants anyway. They've since gotten a little more interesting to me so I'm trying to get what I can. Waiting on another 50 cent deal from that shop I frequent. Starting to think I may see what kind of deal they'd give if I brought my own box and filled it. I doubt I get them down to 17 cents, but I'm not going to complain even if they don't budge. Congrats on a great 2nd portion to a great sale!

it can get confusing with those Avengers/X-Men books. i'm trying to collect Avengers vs X-Men 1-5(JRJR) and 6-8(Olivier Coipel) the series has the same damn logo as the series you showed which i also pick up the issues with creative teams i like. gets kind of confusing. i got a small haul of dollar comics from a first time visit to an LCS dropping in a couple of hours.

I also just came across several issues of Battlestar Galactica in a local store's dollar bin.
