What a great series this has been!
I think you may have hit on why I enjoy this channel so much. It truly is great to get those big keys for little monies. But when you're working on a series, or looking for a book that has that special meaning or just sparks a memory, it's just a different kind of excitement! That seems to be the driving force behind your collecting and it just happens to fit my main source of joy as well.
That said, AWESOME progress on the ROM series! As well as Batman! It's definitely been fun going through the haul!

Thanks Richard. You’re so right. Monetary keys are great but that’s not the driving force in collecting like we do. I’m so glad you’re along for the ride and I love hearing about the good things you find too.
Teaser: some big ROM news coming in a future video!

Awesome haul! I've been low-key collecting ROM. You've lucked out! I'm still a dozen or so books shy of the full run. Thanks for the video!

The Batman was a solid cartoon, not my favorite version of the characters but still good show. my son enjoyed it quite a bit when he was a kid

Hi Chris - There was a 2005 "Free Comic Book Day" edition of *The Batman Strikes* #1, published only about 7 months after the comic series began. Also, that FCBD book had at least one additional printing. AND there was a Burger King edition of #1 (!) That makes 4 times total that DC printed the first issue's content in single-issue format. So they promoted the comic series well, and there should be lots of copies out there for anyone wanting to read #1. A completist may also want both the Direct and Newsstand editions.
Issue #10 carries the DC *"swirl"* brand symbol for the 1st time. With issue #42, a little Batman headshot replaces *Johnny DC* in the upper left area of the covers. Thanks for another interesting video.
