Tony DeZuniga(1932-2012) was the very first artist to draw DC's Jonah Hex. You'll see his name more and more as you add to your collection. Also Going through dollar bins is my absolute favorite thing to do in the hobby besides talking about comics with others. Another great vid! Also Those Thor books are a great find! Also The Visionaries(1.Spectral Knights,2.Darkling Lords,) were actually pretty damn cool figures, they were almost as flexible as G I Joe's but a lot more sturdy. Also Love that ROM cover, Also thanks for sharing Chris keep up the good work stay safe out there in New Jersey and have a great day.🙂💪🟢🦸🥊🏋️🇺🇲
Yes. Like issues seem to attract other like issues. And talk to the owner, always. You never know what they might reveal is now in the dollar/discount bin. Nice finds. Fantastic Thor finds. If you want to reduce your duplicates now, let me know. Maybe we can figure out some trades.

Wow, you never cease to amaze me, Chris! I've been buying and collecting Marvel comics since the fall of 1971 and I have 21,000 issues in my collection. Nevertheless, I have never heard of The Adventures of The Thing limited series until you found it in a dollar bin and shared it with us!! Thanks for augmenting my knowledge of Marvel yet again!!
Your collection sounds amazing! I bet there’s some really cool treasures in there. And I don’t just mean “keys”. How old were you when you started? I started in ‘87 and was 15 when I got into reading and collecting. What an amazing hobby though. It brings me joy every single day. Don’t remember if I mentioned it in the video, but turns out that Adventures of Thing series is a reprint series. Issue 1 reprints Two-In-One 50.
@@northgardencomics Oh, a reprint series! Maybe that's why it wasn't on my radar! Yes, this hobyy oif ours is the light of my life! I bought Amazing Spidey #102 off the spinner rack when I was 10 (almost 11) years old, and was immediately hooked! Then I soon added FF, and then Hulk, and then DD, and soon the rest of Marvel's titles! If you ever find yourself in central Virginia, I'd love to give you a tour!!
That would be so cool. Based on your collecting you may like my next video. It’s all Bronze Age books from a comic book garage sale with issues from titles like DD, FF and others. You probably have most of them!
There was just awesome stuff all the way through! So many OLD books. Love it! That last series you showed was just too cool. So glad you got so many books for a great price! I'm trying to be cryptic so I don't spoil anything, is it working? 😅 You need to get ahold of Ricky Lee and get a new autograph. I wonder how much it's changed over the years. Congrats on another incredible dollar haul!!
I dont think you ever need to worry about spoilers in the comments to my videos!😂 The fact that I GET comments is a plus! Yeah, this was a super fun time. I kept finding more and more great books as I went through the short boxes. Took 2+ hours and I was trying to go fast!
@@northgardencomics I'm glad it took you a while to go through them all. I always think I'm going slow but I think I'm on par. Are you one of those double jointed finger flippers? I can't get the technique down to be able to use both index fingers to flip at once.
I just can't let those silver age issues get away either. Just picked up Tales of Suspense #73 that is in nice condition except for part of the bottom right corner torn off. Got it at a new vendor mall we have been going to and the vendor had everything at 50 percent off for the store anniversary. Got lots of 50 cent issues to go along with it. Gotta love finding those.
the Visionaries were actually pretty damn cool figures, they were almost as flexible as GI Joes but a lot more sturdy. i wished i had more of them. hell yeah i'd buy a Jim Lee doing his Frank Miller/Sin City style on Batman series. i found a beat up Thor 131 for a quarter about a year ago in Berkeley CA. great score on the lower grade Thor books.

Great video, Jim Lee caught some flack by Frank Miller for copying his Sin City art style .
