So the entire team getting behind Kimberly to tell her to pursue her dreams had a huge meta level to it, in acknowledging her time and sacrifices, and giving her character the chance that she lost before becoming an actress.

I like how the directors managed to have Jason and Austin gave great performances showing Jason and Tommy friendship eventhough they hate each other in real life.

JDF hates Austin because of a weird grudge, while Austin has nothing against Jason. Austin has even come out into saying that he's happy that Jason got to be red ranger.
Fun extra fact: Kimberly getting hte chance to go to the olympics is actually based on Amy Jo Johnson's gymnastic career prior to the injury that ended it for her. Before Power Rangers she had reached Class One in gymnastics and had aspirations of making it to the Olympics in real life before she seriously injured herself. So having her character send off involve her close friends and teammates telling Kimberly to pursue her Olympic dreams is a huge meta nod to the actress, and quite a beautiful way to see her off hte show with dignity and respect.
Yeah that was hte single worst decision for how to end the Tommy x Kimberly ship. Cat did not need ot become a second love interest. However... it's not entirely unjustified as they were supposed to be teenagers, so people thinking they're first big relationship is true love until something new comes along is not uncommon. It's realistic, but a horrible way to justify things.

Great list, I have no problem with it. I can even understand him putting "Changing of the Zords" at number 1, the stakes were high. For me it will always be the "Green with Evil" arc. I mean, Tommy almost destroyed them all and I loved the final fight between Jason and Tommy (and Jason is the only one that beat Tommy) plus I still remember the feeling I had as a kid when Tommy morphed with the rangers for the first time, then summoned his zord. It was so f*cking epic! When it comes to MMPR-In Space, MMPR is still the best season for me. I'm glad he will do a best and worst list for Zeo, I loved that season. From the original six season the only one I didn't like was Turbo.

Tomy was best ranger, and has held the most power, even showing that he still holds hte red Zeo power, which is supposed to continue getting stronger as time goes on. So really, as far as meta goes, hes at least the second most powerful ranger overall, and certainly the most powerful ranger outside of powered up extra modes. THe only more powerful ragner outright would be hte silver megaforce ranger that can use all the sixth ranger powers at the same time. But I would still put my money on Tommy.
"Return of an Old Friend" Part 2 was my favorite. Tommy coming back as the Green Ranger getting back the power coins is my favorite battle in the entire series.

I laugh to myself with some of the list on here. 1. episode whatever with Tommy. 2. episode whatever with tommy and so on. he's a great ranger but a lot of the other Rangers had great moments as Walter showed here with a diverse list of episodes.

I didn't like #3 because it didn't really make sense that candles were able to be made for the rest of the rangers. The Green Candle made sense, since Rita was responsible for creating the Green Ranger to begin with, but the rest? Nah.
The new _Power Rangers_ movie completely stunk with both critics and fans and especially at the box office, where it made an extremely mere $2.9 million - the lowest ever opening weekend of any movie playing in more than 3,000 screens.
Critics maybe I mean a lot of the channel awesome critics liked it. Doug, The Dom, ERod, Brad and most importantly Linkara liked it. As for fans it depends on what fans wanted I went with a bunch of Power Rangers nerds opening weekend and we all loved it

The Green Ranger saga was definitely my favorite of the series. Probably because seeing an evil Power Ranger was too badass for words. Besides, Tommy is/was definitely my favorite Power Ranger out of them all. Definitely can't wait to see him in the sequel for the latest movie.
One of my favorite episodes is called Bloom of Doom. I remember watching it for the first time when I was younger and it played a role in Kimberly's jealousy of Trini which was something I don't remember there being much talk about. Can you please do a review on the episode Walter? I would love to hear your reactions to it about Kim's character shift towards Trini in this episode.

Nice list, with quite a few surprises. I personally thought that had #3 been done while ASJ was still doing voice work for the show, it would have been considerably better, because there are some dark elements to that episode. I was also surprised by #1 being something other than Day of the Dumpster, so good work Walter, from a fellow PR fan (thought not as much MMPR these days)
I feel like I'm the only one who felt the Master Vile and also the doomsday multi parters were better than this no 1. Lord Zedd was the neutered version here, after he was toned down, that's why you see no badass moments of him talking in the command centre. I did initially enjoy him there but it felt a little wasted imo. I don't know about that episode where they get sent back in time either and green has to face white. I remember thinking it was ok, but above Doomsday on the list? Freaking doomsday? And no Return of an old friend? With the drummel monster, all the power coins with Goldar and all parents captured? Billys "if it wasn't for me well...." is a favourite line of mine.
The introduction of Lord Zedd should have been on the list, just because he was too dark for the tone of the series and got parents complaining, which by definition means that was Zedd at his best.
My favorite episodes were 'The Mutiny' parts 1 & 2. The introduction of Lord Zedd (My favorite MMPR Villain) and the expulsion of Rita Repulsa back to a space dumpster was the Best.

You should read the Power Rangers: Pink comic miniseries by Boom! Studios. It is some great stuff, and as a Kimberly fan, I think you'll enjoy it.

The new _Power Rangers_ movie completely stunk with both critics and fans and especially at the box office, where it made an extremely mere $2.9 million - the lowest ever opening weekend of any movie playing in more than 3,000 screens.
Critics maybe I mean a lot of the channel awesome critics liked it. Doug, The Dom, ERod, Brad and most importantly Linkara liked it. As for fans it depends on what fans wanted I went with a bunch of Power Rangers nerds opening weekend and we all loved it
Mutsor Tima I agree tons of people hated that new power rangers movie especially me. My friend over seas said it suck bad and if you look at the money they made over there it shows this franchise needs to die quick.
MMPR wasn't really my favorites. I'm little more inclined towards the later seasons like Time Force.

The Green Ranger saga was definitely my favorite of the series. Probably because seeing an evil Power Ranger was too badass for words. Besides, Tommy is/was definitely my favorite Power Ranger out of them all. Definitely can't wait to see him in the sequel for the latest movie.
One of my favorite episodes is called Bloom of Doom. I remember watching it for the first time when I was younger and it played a role in Kimberly's jealousy of Trini which was something I don't remember there being much talk about. Can you please do a review on the episode Walter? I would love to hear your reactions to it about Kim's character shift towards Trini in this episode.
It's funny that rob was Dinosaur which is like the bad guy from power ranger monster.

good call, that makes sense knowing how the show was made.
Nice list, with quite a few surprises. I personally thought that had #3 been done while ASJ was still doing voice work for the show, it would have been considerably better, because there are some dark elements to that episode. I was also surprised by #1 being something other than Day of the Dumpster, so good work Walter, from a fellow PR fan (thought not as much MMPR these days)

I feel like I'm the only one who felt the Master Vile and also the doomsday multi parters were better than this no 1. Lord Zedd was the neutered version here, after he was toned down, that's why you see no badass moments of him talking in the command centre. I did initially enjoy him there but it felt a little wasted imo.
I don't know about that episode where they get sent back in time either and green has to face white. I remember thinking it was ok, but above Doomsday on the list? Freaking doomsday?
And no Return of an old friend? With the drummel monster, all the power coins with Goldar and all parents captured? Billys "if it wasn't for me well...." is a favourite line of mine.

The introduction of Lord Zedd should have been on the list, just because he was too dark for the tone of the series and got parents complaining, which by definition means that was Zedd at his best.

My favorite episodes were 'The Mutiny' parts 1 & 2. The introduction of Lord Zedd (My favorite MMPR Villain) and the expulsion of Rita Repulsa back to a space dumpster was the Best.

Zedd was a straight-up badass in Changing of the Zords. He straight up KICKS THE SHIT out of Tommy. I was super impressed.
