Where that deck collapsed behind the bandshell used to be a beach ramp. When I came to Daytona years ago you could drive right down behind the bandshell onto the beach. Looks like they didn't do a good job of covering that up. All those waves will take out a lot of stuff when they get tropical storm winds pushing them onto shore. Looking bad for the beaches in Volusia County.
In a state about this why did the Republican government vote against any help in these States that have this kind of problem? The insurance is gonna stop insuring all trailers that's on this kind of water These people expect to live in this salt water. Either without the hurricanes and everything these houses are gonna slip the slip and learn all the time because of then salt water. .
The last ten years have been bad for Daytona Beach. We have been hit with quite a few named storms and each has taken it's toll on the beach sand and the seawalls. Some serious decisions will have to be make about the state of the beach in the coming months.
2022/11/8 Was line with Sun, Earth, Moon and Uranus. Just like 1935/10/27 before other one Rare November Hurricane which landfall there. This other Rare November Hurricane was Yankee Hurricane 1935.

Poor beaches haven't been able to comecback from last hurricaine.
