    Thank you for doing this video.
    I love HK and Sig.
    I have owned glocks and hated every trigger, even after a trigger job.
    I just don't understand why so many people worship the spongey trigger feel of striker fired handguns like glock, the fact that the trigger must partially compress the striker spring means that movement must have take up, it's just physics, you cant break that law.
    Single action hammer fired trigger systems simply allow the seer to release the hammer the movement will always be shorter.
    If glock lovers do not understand this, watch a video to see have a seer and hammer work together.

      I agree in your conclusion, that the hammer fired pistol is the superior arm in most pistol applications. But I cannot refrain from pointing out even most modern hammer fired pistols will have varying degrees of pre-travel in single action before the trigger bar begins to engage the sear, and almost all of them incorporate this in part to account for moving a firing pin block out of the way, a notable exception being the clever way the Tanfoglio CZ-75 copies handle the firing pin block concept and other handguns derived out of their modification of same such as the Jericho 941.

    I have a USP45 LEM, same as this model. Carried it for many years in law enforcement, loved it, the Cadillac to guns. In process of buying this model. Threaded barrel, "can" the whole setup. Can't wait. Good review.

    The HK P30L is probably the top all around choice for reliability, eats anything, great design, polygonal barrel for more power, longer wear, but a bit pricey....and by the way the really nice decocker on the back of the slide pushes in a downward motion, not straight in. I love this pistol.

      Whoa 11lbs . I will stick with my HK VP9 LE edition ( 5.3 lbs ) 😁

    • @StretzTacticalinc
      @StretzTacticalinc  4 года назад +4

      That’s only the second trigger pull. The first is 5.5lbs - if you get a click, instead of a bang and pull the trigger Again, then, it’s 11. Here in the US, we “tap, rack”. Your vp9 will get a click then a dead trigger. So whats the difference?

    • @StretzTacticalinc

      Not true- research the different variants. The LEM light has a heavy (11lb) second pull - meaning if you pull the trigger and get a click instead of a bang & pull it again, that second pull is 11 pounds instead of 5 1/2 like the first pull

    And one more point: It was the iconic gun Keanu used in the first John Wick movie. Just a little fun factor.

    I’m 61 former LE and was Glock and Walther Die Hard. The HK LEM trigger has converted me to HK. I run V3 Lem P30L and P2000sk LEM no safety on either. Hard primer misfire can cost you your life in real world scenario !! Not only that but these guns just shoot damn well especially the P30L I’ll bet my life on my P2000sk Lem. It’s my EDC !!!
    It’s much faster to just pull the trigger again on hard primer than it is to rack the slide. Brilliant HK weapons

    I love glocks but I have a p30sk lem and a hk45c, and they’re FAR better quality than any Glock made. That said I do daily carry a g30 that I’ve had for two decades. It’s beautifully accurate and dead reliable.

    Is it true that HK will be discontinuing the HK P30L soon? I'm looking to purchase one.

    • @Peenurpool
      @Peenurpool 3 года назад

      That is not correct.. They are not disconnecting the P30L.. They do show up in small quantities lately if you don’t mind buying over the Internet.. Check the HKPro website, and look under the classifieds and dealers forums... I have found more than a few and would’ve grabbed one, but I still need to save a few more bucks, as I spent money on a pistol I got a great deal on rather than buy the one I really wanted and should’ve bought in the first place (P30L V1) ... HK ships in groups and batches.. I am told that by Christmas we will see these back on the shelf in plentiful quantity.. I am told this by a supplier who works with quite a few gun shops in my area...

    • @hlfpsttomorrow93
      @hlfpsttomorrow93 2 года назад

      Not correct. They only import 1-2 batches per year

  • @Peenurpool

    I have a P30 V1, a P30 V3, and a couple P30sk V1 pistols.. If I knew then what I do now, I would’ve picked up a P30L V1 when I had the chance instead of buying the V3, but I got an outstanding deal on it BNIB.. So I really can’t complain, but the extra couple bucks I saved would have been better spent on the P30L V1... A good friend purchased it after I stupidly declined, and he makes sure to remind me every chance he gets how awesome the gun shoots.. And it does shoot awesome.. We went to the range the next day with our new HKs, and we shot each other’s to see how they compared, and I honestly didn’t want to give him his pistol back, and he couldn’t wait to give me mine back hahaha... I am much more partial to the lite lem trigger in all HK hammer fired pistols than the da/sa.. The slide on the P30L is not much longer than the standard P30, but it does make a noticeable difference in shoot ability, and recoil for me.. I can just shoot a noticeable amount better with it, and it feels much better also... I carry my P30 V1 and like every other pistol if you have the correct holster and belt, you will have no issues carrying all day without having to restrict your movements.. So I would not hesitate to say that there would be little difference, if any besides needing the correct holster, in carrying the P30L.. Mine has been 100% reliable since day one, and I have taken 4 classes with it and had no issues going through over 800 rounds each class.. I never cleaned it or lubed it during any of the classes, as I was trying to induce a malfunction, or rather see if it would choke without cleaning it while going kind of hard on it.. I only use quality factory brass target ammo for classes, and maybe some self defense loads if I have some older left over stuff.. I have to say it’s a great feeling knowing your carry gun is so reliable you can bet your life on it, literally.. It’s also a great feeling not having to touch your gun during class, or at break time to tinker or clean it like 75% of everyone else there taking the class.. it does make for a much more enjoyable class, and not stress out worrying if you’re going to have issues.. I love my P30sk V1 pistols just as much also.. Yes it’s a little beefy, but it is just as robust as the P30 & P30L... Just as the same with the P2000sk , it shoots way better than any pistol that size should.. I would feel just as confident with the sk if that’s what I had to work with if the SHTF... I haven’t found a BNIB P30L V1 anywhere within the last six months, but I am waiting for notifications from a few places for when they do show up, which I am told could be any day now, but they will show up when they show up.. I just wished I didn’t let the cheapskate part of my brain take over in the heat of the moment.. I was planning on selling it for a small profit and use that money to purchase a P30L V1, but I’m stuck with the V3 until they show back up in stock.. I still have my P30 v1, and sk V1 pistols , but once you get bit by the HK Bug all you can think about is your next HK purchase haha.. It really is a disease... And not from Chy- Nah.... It is the Kraut 19 and I am in the middle of the pandemic 😎😷😬
