"Mann's Fate" > "Song From the Stainless Cymbal"! Absolutely wonderful stories! A cameo appearance by Chester! What a wonderful show, guys! Just bravo!
I love Jack's Bala-bass-a. Deep, deep resonance. OK, Jorma ain't too shabby either. Together they really produce musical synergy -- better than the sum of the individual parts. Never been much of a bass fan, but Kack has opened my ears. Safe trip back home, Jack.
What a superb show, whished I could've woken up the neighbourhood and showed them what they missing. 'Look what you missing while you sleep, silly people'.Thanks once again
Every week just keeps getting better. Clap clap clap, to everyone at FPR, and the one and only, the Great.... Jack Cassidy. Thanks for sticking around😁😁
Setlist............. I See the Light Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out Follow the Drinking Gourd Day to Day Out the Window Blues Corners Without Exits River of Time Parchman Farm Mann's Fate Song From The Stainless Cymbal Come Back Baby Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning Maybe the best one yet. Thanks Jorma, Jack, Vanessa, et al. Safe travels Jack.
They're doing Keep Your Lamps.....I've been playing this because of these two this past 45 years....I don't hesitate to say...not one iota as well as they do! If you think the bass is easy...then just watch Jack on this one!
I grew up in D.C., and hadn't thought about Coffee n Confusion in decades. I remember those extravaganza gigs down in Virginia. . I still have that Mose Allison album Mose Allison Takes To The Hills with Parchman Farm. . I came out to San Francisco for school 1966. . my husband Jim Hill did sound for the Starship, was on the road with you guys. . franks for the mammaries, you two. I hear the acoustic sound track of my life. Love it.
So good to have Jack there I'm sure you guys feel. You guys stay safe and thanks for what you're doing so much it means everything to us now since the beginning of this
Great show!! ...some extra energy with Jack for an extra night...I didn't notice the Jorma leg stomp action in any of the other 13 shows...great to see...like I remember from the first time at the palladium, NYC '79...
Tonight was awesome. You guys were on fire from the start. Loved all the stories too. Jorma's dad trippin! Thanks for another great Saturday night and thanks Jack for sticking around one more week!
yikes is my new catch phrase ... only Jorma could come up with it.... 60 years and still lovin the man.... listened to Baxters this am what a freaking good album
Question ask jorma about mld 70 concert with jack and papa john you guys blew off the roof at winterland...papa john melted his violin Graham came out and said the concert was one of the best..I already knew it ...also country joe was on the bill he was hot as hell...I thank God Robert johnson chose the right road
The audio quality is much better this week ! Jorma's vocal mic is out front . Jack's bass is subdued. the guitars are balanced ! Someone must have done a soundcheck !!!
The answer is yes Tassajara is still there and no it hasn’t changed much. I spent 3 months there in the winter of 2005. We were not eating any steak however.
I have been a follower of Jorma since the typewriter tapes with Janis Joplin. And of Jack and Jorma with Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna, solo albums and more. If Jack isn't the best bass player ever, he will do. And if Jorma isnt the best guitar player ever, who is? I can remember back in the early 70's when I realized, and was blown away, that both Jack and Jorma were playing lead in the same song! What a treasure they both are...WOW!
I agree, I saw these guys in Dec PreCovid and Jack was telling stories and I got nuthin. He is also so soft spoken, but his bass pounds, so there is that!
So glad Jack stayed another week!
I never get tired of hearing these guys play. The stories are cool too
Storytime with Jorma and Jack is awesome.
"Mann's Fate" > "Song From the Stainless Cymbal"! Absolutely wonderful stories! A cameo appearance by Chester! What a wonderful show, guys! Just bravo!
I love the storytelling, which is fascinating and a great complement to the playing. Great behind-the-scenes stuff.
Jack brings out the best in Jorma
Wonderful news. This series is the only thing getting me through this year of Covid, tensions in my streets, and family death.
In my mind, the greatest rock bassist, ever: Jack Cassidy!
Jack has always pulled me back from the abyss!
Jack has always dropped those bombs into the abyss! Yggdrasil!

I love my mask and the Jorma's choice hani sani was a nice surprise. Thanks.
Yay Jack & Jorma & Myron & Andie & Izzy in spirit
Some of the greatest rock and roll blues musicians ever. A generation older than me, they carry the history that we can share with our own children.
Baseball at 7, Hot Tuna at 8. Happy! Happy! Happy!
alright... *smiling big time*
The audio quality is much better this week ! Jorma's vocal mic is out front . Jack's bass is subdued. the guitars are balanced ! Someone must have done a soundcheck !!!

Love you Vanessa. Don't listen to the haters... :-)
Haters?
Not necessarily haters just rather hear Jorma and Jack
It seems odd to not have some drunk guy in the back of the room yelling "JACK!!!!!" Every HT show I've ever gone to has one.
JACK!!!!!! Just kidding. I'm not that guy.
And the throw up on the monitors always helped LOL but we loved it back then also
I’m proud to be that guy. HotFuckinTunaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
Uncle willeys in Kingston ny
They weren’t just yelling jack

Greetings from Flagler Beach FL>

zummo61 Glad you said that. I thot it was just me!

YIKES!!
Mann's Fate!

Jorma: Still riding your Harley?
Yeah he has a nice break out I'm sure he rides it whenever he can
Thanks AGAIN!! (But, I wish you guys could have found a mic for Jack! - or is he just not talking into it?)
Fucking amazing!
Vanessa sort of looks like Kate Wolf.
Why did comments stop?
The Bronx is in the house!
RUclips is censored comments
