Love It CVVCLIPS Bro.
Some ppl forget that some WWE wrestlers chose to sign with AEW cuz working under Vince led them nowhere, and some wrestlers only went to AEW cuz they were fired by Vince with nowhere to go
Vince held Christian back over and over again back when Christian was young let alone if he went back there after years of forced retirement. Not to mention how they would've barely allowed him to wrestle and how they would have had comedy TV writers telling him what to say in his promos. Christian Cage gets to spread his wings properly in TNA and AEW and I'm so glad he's having such an incredible run!
Vince wasn't the only problem.
It's the WWE.
This years "Draft" proved that.
Vince is "gone".
Yet the same issues remain.
At least the camera cuts have lessened.
@@TheHardys01 I wouldn't say the "same" issues remain. I don't think we'd ever have Jordynne Grace compete on NXT while being a TNA talent. CM Punk surely never would've came back and my favorite change is having more international shows, even though I live in the US. It's all about expansion and thinking different. I think yeah, WWE has definitely struggled in a lot of areas, they've also made good changes too.
@@TheHardys01 DEFINITELY
Wrestlers have a choice as to where to work. If they're dissatisfied with their pay and/or where they are on the card, they can go to the other place, it's not only to do with Vince "firing" them. Vince was making some really bad decisions with talent because he was more focused on his deviancy. Some of the talent requested their release. Brodie still had time on his contract.
The more I hear these stories, it’s a constant reminder that Vince was never reading the room in his last years
@StevenNotRichardse drone
@@ChewyNuggetZ They gave an actual reasoning for their pov. You gave a lame insult. Your post is more what you expect from a drone.
Reminder that Christian never said "Vince didn't want to hire me". He simply liked AEW's offer better.
@@raveoreynolds6049 nah I know that.
But it seems like such a waste to let him go when there were many wrestlers that could’ve used the Christian rub like Jungle Boy
@@raveoreynolds6049 Christian is one of the few who actually made a great decision by going to AEW. He’s consistently one of the only guys worth watching on that show. Not to mention, he wouldn’t have had as prominent a role or made as much money had he stayed with WWE.
The best work of his career and I think its because he's allowed to be who he wants to. Probably the most under appreciated wrestler in my lifetime.
It's clearer and clearer that he's actually an all time great
I thought Nailz was the most underrated
Christian is underrated its well known Vince never rated him but outside WWE he shows how great he is
Its so weird because he gave edge a push but not christian when they're very similar.
@@ManlyPelican because he didn't like the way christian looked, if christian looked like edge, he would be pushed just like him too, trust me
@theonlygoodonehere2259 I disagree I genuinely think it's because edge and matt Hardy had legitimate heat that vince could exploit and use as a story line, then vince realised edge was actually really good so gave him a push, so in short Christian wasn't an asshole, that's why he didn't get pushed.
@@ManlyPelican he never pushed matt hardy, wym, lol, and its well documented that vince separated edge and christian because he wanted to elevate edge to the top, and didn't like christian that much, I don't know if heat is included, but christian was over with the crowd and good in the ring and on the mic, thats at least what i heard from many shoots
@@ManlyPelicannot really, Edge has more charisma, had that aura in him. He was the Matt Hardy to the Jeff Hardy, The Marty Jannetty to the Shawn Michaels, Edge just got the "It" Factor
Christian is doing some of his best work in AEW
he's been doing his best since he first left WWE - he was amazing in TNA and he is still now in AEW almost 20 years after.
@@nobrkt he’s one of
the few guys who has been entertaining in any promotion.
Bs his best work happened during his stint in TnA
That's not saying much, Christian is a jobber.
@@wutyousay He's not, y'all just be saying anything
Its kind of odd that Christian and Moxley haven't had any AEW matches yet.
It's even more odd that Christian and Jericho haven't interacted considering their history

It’s probably just styles and storylines. Christian isn’t a hardcore guy, and Moxley’s leaned into that in this run. Also, their characters don’t really mesh well for storylines; they’re so distinct in their individual lanes that an organic overlap may be hard to find. I think it’s kind of nice, though, that top guys can be top guys without having to work every other top guy. Says a company has true diversity and depth at the top.

Christian always had some cool attires. In his late first WWE run and in TNA he was rocking the jackets with style 🔥
please make him world champion hes the best tnt champion ever
I hope to see him in the TNT tournament. He should get a bye in the bracket lol
Christian Cage is arguably the greatest AEW signing AEW ever! He's a genius both in the ring and on the mic. He's such a professional making sure that he always produces quality. He's so selfless and he always makes sure to bring the best out of people he works with. He adds so much to AEW. He must get an AEW World Championship run before it's all over. He truly deserves it!

There were better wrestler at the time cut it out
Captain Charisma‼️🫡
Pretty much every AEW fan agrees that Christian was one of their very best signings. He actually had quite a good little face run as the guy to beat Kenny Omega for the Impact Championships and the mentor to Jurassic Express, but his work since going heel, forming the Patriarchy and hating everyone's fathers has been quite likely the best he's ever done in his entire career (and this is a guy who's widely considered one of the most-underrated of all time).
i remember meeting christian at summerslam signing, a really down to earth guy man 🙏🏼
Christian Cage is a real living legend! 🐐
That’s why Jon is in my top 5 alltime
Christians heel character is amazing!
He's really doing the best work of his career, I hope he could keep on doing it as long as he wants. And I also hope Tony gives him a run with the AEW title before everything is said and done.
A Christian Cage AEW World Championship run would be awesome! He truly deserves it!
He'd name himself Father Champ. 🤣
I’m a WWE guy but more importantly I’m a pro wrestling fan. Without AEW stars like Moxley, Christian, Jericho, Sting, Samoa Joe, etc. Wouldn’t have been able to reinvent themselves and get a say on how their careers continue/end. AEW gave uthe likes of MJF, Darby Allin, Swerve Strickland, etc. a platform to become stars
Clearly Khan was prepared when he made the call.
Sure he was lol😂😂
Vince must be pissed at the fact Christian proved himself one last time without him.
Yeahhhh, what I hear is Tony Khan may be flawed but fucking hell I'd love to have a boss like him.
Duh anyone would love a boss that pays you top dollar and basically lets you do whatever you want
@@ngouhboyit’s called creative freedom
@@ngouhboy He doesn't let them attack their coworkers. Tony laid the law down on that chump.
One thing about Christian right now that I like is he says whatever without consequences unlike the other company you can't.
The first few seconds Christian looked exactly like HHH. Like WOW!
Thank you Jon.
Christian Cage should be AEW World Champion. He deserves much more credit for his work.
he deserves one more run as world champion
Best DAD everyone should have!
0:12 sounds like the same who said "No one remembered Gangrel", yet he helped Edge/Copeland recently.
Seeing Christian main event a PPV in 2024 was something I didn’t think I’d ever see. Then for Edge/ Copeland to show up was the icing on the cake.
"Should we talk?"
"I think we should"
Haha love it.
No matter he was in WWE, TNA or in AEW right now, I always enjoy Christian’s work. Time and time again, I always believe that he deserves one more go at WWE a few years from now, so that he could a feud with Cody.
Father Christian Cage vs Cody Rhodes would feed families in my estimation.
Christian is Underrated and his Theme Song as well
TNA consistently had great themes during his run and I will die on that hill
That’s why AEW is needed and should be welcome with open arms
Why toxic hardcore WWE fans want AEW to end is beyond me
Christian is his best work in AEW . And I love ❤it
I care
It sucks WWE never gave Christian a proper push as a top guy in WWE
I mean he was the world champion that’s a pretty good push if you ask me 😂
Someone else mentioned it in the comments I’d love to see Jericho and Christian in the same ring again, I wouldn’t mind if they were opponents or partners either.
I hope Christian has a run or two as AEW World Champion before he officially ends his career for good. One of the best heels currently in AEW as of right now.
if you go back to all the people that are free agents that Tony picked up . They all say the same "We talked on the phone for hours" not a quick call no he sat there and gave hours out his day to pitch their next path for a few years. I feel like that alone shows a lot .
His father bit is some of the best work in AEW not named MJF. This dude has always been a star. Shut up while he conducts his business!!!
Who knew taking advice from a plumber would pay off so much. Christian's probably making the most he's ever made, thanks to the money mark
Money mark is vince not tony khan wwe mark🤡
It’s not just that the last promo he did in WWE was basically putting over edge which clearly showed that he was always going to be second to him.
These older guys get paid fully guaranteed contracts to work 2 potentially 3 days a week, of course guys like big show, christian, jericho, edge will take deals like that.
Christain is soooo dope
I wonder what his opinon was of the spat between The Elite and CM PUNK?
Gee I wonder who he's going to side with: a Career Malcontent who's been an issue in every locker room he's been in for the past quarter of a century or...his own son?
Thank you Jon Moxley
People forget that Christian was the original man to open the Forbidden Door in 2004.
Halfway through the call I realized this guy was a money mark an there was no way I was gonna turn down all that money for such a light schedule, not to mention I can do what I want 90% of the time an good ol Tony will jus say "that's great" 😂😂😂
Gotta get Mox up here
Christian is a great sports entertainer, but he's an amazing pro wrestler.
Christian Cage is the GOAT!
jon moxley is the real ACE of aew
I hope before Christian retires we see the goofy fun loving E&C Christian again
I always assumed Vinces mindset was from smaller less marketable guys but after what Orton said, my whole perspective of how shitty Vince was is crazy.
What was the quote?
Christian could've had a better WWE career. He's better than Edge in almost all aspects
Christian would've been watered down by Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon
It’s hard for me to assimilate that Christian is the more subdued of the E & C pair. In his WWE days, his persona seemed more open, expressive, affable. I was not prepared for quiet, wearing-it-in-the-real-world turtleneck Christian.
I'm going to mention this interview to anyone on social media that is convinced that Mox will go back to WWE.
AEW matches are just on another level compared to the WWE matches. Men’s matches always & women’s matches are dependant in who is wrestling who. So performers just prop and wait for the move and it’s so staged, uts really annoying. Gotta love Christian. His and Adams brotherhood is amazing. We don’t get to hear about all the true nateships in wrestling cos they usually fighting each other.
Christian cage
Indeed
In wwe i used to think he was meh in aew i hate him that's a improvement
look its Blue Dot
Does he know his theme is an Evanescence rip off? 😂😂 still love it, but I just wonder if he is a fan of the original
Oh, he is VERY familiar. He has a great taste in music. Evanescence rip off involved his input.
See how he’s lost for words after making that TK comment lol
Sup Peeps
Yo.
Christian Cage's Peepulation in the house!
We are no longer peeps but sons of the best father figure
working at aew is like when there was a substitute at school and nobody listened and did what they wanted
Working at AEW is like when the record company trusts the musicians they've hired to make the music without micromanaging it.
That's rich coming from the plumber😂
it good move for the guys like mox or Christian who are far off from wwe man event level for others not as much i would say
There's a lot of negativity around AEW & hating on it has become the "cool" thing by some very uncool kids but for all it's faults it's also done a lot of things right and it helped give people like Christian freedom and a shine that he would likely never get even with HHH running things while also making wrestling less of a monopoly
AEW's biggest feat is giving Christian the best run of his career, but otherwise, they have an endless list of misses.
Because these people don’t like wrestling; they like WWE
@@Twkout So then people who like AEW don't like wrestling either. They like outlaw spot shows
@@Twkout Nothing quite says rasslin like a man hanging upside down for 5 minutes after coming back from being ran over and setting a man on fire. Only for the man who was set on fire to come back and win the whole match. Flair and Steamboat, eat your hearts out.
@@jackhughes7637 BEST RUN?
Christian was so misused in WWE. His runs in TNA and AEW were so much better than anything WWE used him for.
Never understood why tony never gets credit for seeming like a good boss. Dude kept people signed to a new company during the pandemic and long conversations even in a busy schedule.
He might go off on Twitter once in a while or cut promos while looking like a nervous wreck but he seems awesome to work for
Christian is the best thing I'm not watching on AEW.
If I was a wrestler I’m going to wwe all day an actually competent country that doesn’t overpay anyone holds you true to yourself there’s not many fights there’s more opportunity a bigger fan base like wwe smokes aew all day now
Super literate. You represent WWE zombies well.
Wonder what he thinks of Vince
AEW’s entire roster is incredibly small in terms of size and stature. It really blows my mind seeing them in person, thinking how they would “go” in a bar fight. I think the old days of tough guys are truly needed on the roster.
Yeses the menacing liv Morgan throwing hands in a local bar while the intimateing gigantic dom manhandles 4 guys with one arm...........
Christian is 6' 1" and one of the smaller guys.
His best work was in wwe and TNA. Toni khan fanbois or (girls) 😂😂 in this context basically haven't seen prime Christan in his singles run..
The plumber?
I've always thought Christian Cage was a great singles star.

AEW HATE IS LIVE & WELL IN THE COMMENTS US USUAL ON THIS CHANNEL
Let me help you if those thoughts Christian. No, we don't care. as a matter of fact, most of your matches are nothing more than bathroom breaks to me, your promo time is just a chance for me to check the other channels and see what they're doing.

Christian is brilliant in AEW.
Adam Copeland not so much
Wow wwe dropped the ball
I hope he makes an appearance in next year Royal Romble

Why does everybody hate? Christian Cage it’s not his fault he wasn’t pushed in WWE. If you wanna blame someone blame Vince McMahon I don’t know why he doesn’t like him. He’s a lot of great talent left WWE and high school drama crap AEW.
They better bring back Christian jack swagger, dean Ambrose,
The Godfather 2 is better than The Godfather
That is something I will agree with
You don’t buy me out I buy you out
Godfather 2 is a disjointed mess made by leftover cuts of meat.
Tony khan doesn’t know how to run a wrestling company
Really, moxley would be the last person I’d ever take advice from
Couldn't think of a worse source of advice than Moxley...
Moxley might be the dumbest person alive…
Christian ur boring until you turned heel and no one cares for uu like that and it was Vince go hate him
So he's to blame for this shit wrestling
If an idiot tells me I'm an idiot if I don't do something, I probably wouldn't do it. Glad it worked out for Christian though.
Jon Moxley is not an idiot, you dummy
Lmfao...I guess so..he found the money mark of a life time
"You're an idiot if you don't milk this money mark like the rest of us do for a tenth of the work."
Now look at them: absolute jokes.
“Christian’s doing some of his best work.”
No he isn’t. He’s cut some spicy promos and had solid WWE-style matches in AEW, but his whole faction and the non-sensical storylines he’s trying to help make sense of have been absolute garbage.
Christians best work was in TNA. The platform AEW has given him later in his career would be better than what WWE would give him now but even then, his best work between the two would be WWE. Trust me, I’m not a fan of AEW currently since I think it’s practically ran as a vanity project to fulfill Tony’s fantasies, but at this current moment…Christian is doing more right now at this stage of his career then he would get to in WWE currently. I’m talking currently not all-time. If you don’t think it’s his best then I understand why given his TNA and WWE runs, however it’s not bad either. Imo it’s not his best work either but it’s pretty above average for him even thought the stable he has makes no sense whatsoever. It’s stale and should’ve disbanded months ago. His run in AEW has been ok though. I think a huge amount of that is due to Christian having control of his character, less to do with Tony’s input. Overall his best work would TNA first, WWE second, AEW third. WWE and TNA can be interchangeable but I think TNA has the slight edge due to the impact and what it achieved. His AEW run isn’t bad though, he’s just been in questionable matches.
Christian's doing some of his best work
If you don’t like it, why do you watch? Genuinely?
Like AEW doesn't have the bet storylines in wrestling.
If anyone knows about being an idiot, it's Jon Moxley.
But at least he got this one right.
