Alter Bridge is truly perfect for Adam Copeland to have as his entrance music. Alter Bridge DEFINITELY needs more recognition. They are beyond an amazing band.

@@stevecollins6858 In the U.S they definitely don't get the respect that they deserve. They should be selling out stadiums, but they only sell out places like The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The UK recognizes greatness when they see it in music that's for sure.

I'd say it more had to do with growing out of it. I found myself finding less time to stay invested and the monthly PPVs that I couldn't buy with my own money always made me feel like I wasn't getting the most out of it. That coupled with the kid friendly era that followed soon after I stopped, there was no good reason (and still isn't) for me to go back.

One of the best debuts/returns I've ever seen in wrestling.
This felt so special because it feels like Edge is returning to real wrestling. As if he's saving the day for old school wrestling fans. That's why it had such an emotional feeling.

I believe Adam is friends with Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti when the song was written the version played was specifically for Adam, so Vince couldn't impound it because he doesn't have exclusive rights to it. I literally got goosebumps and teared up a little when it played. Brought back awesome memories is one of my favorite entrance songs for a wrestler. 😊

I’ve never witnessed anything like that. The crowd went from loud due to the lights going out, to louder when they thought they saw him, to even louder when the road said RATED R, to much louder once the “You think you know me” played, to even louder than that once the iconic music hit, to even louder once he came through the smoke! My God! That was unbelievably awesome!!!

Coming back to watch this, Adam Copeland was exactly the thing AEW needed to start turning the ship around after the unfortunate events of the summer. His debut didn't fix everything, but it was a palette cleanser. Just glad he's doing his thing.

Kudos to the announcers for just letting the moment speak for itself. It's an underrated skill for people who talk for a living, but knowing when to shut the hell up is huge. A moment like this never needed blow by blow narration, and I'm glad it didn't get it.

One of the things I liked about this debut is the commentary stood quiet most of the time, just letting the moment be enjoyed by everyone. This is AEW's most valuable signing ever it will help them bring a lot of people into the company
They always do it.
Same happened with Keith Lee, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole etc
It really lets the moments breathe and I've always liked it when they do it because there wasn't really a need for commentary until the physicality started.
It brought me over, seeing this made me teary eyed!
such a great debut. I want to get a shoutout to the commentary team, who didn't say a damn word after Excalibur said 'not to sting' for literally 3 minutes. Let the moment sink in. there is nothing you can possibly say that adds to the moment. As for Adam Copeland himself, it's still surreal that he's here.

This was perfectly executed! The Darby and Christian match was INCREDIBLE leading into the debut! Everything was on point, the cinematic preview, the licenced music, the smoke and pyro. Treated Edge like the big star he is! Fantastic moment for AEW!

I've never been a huge Edge fan but this was TRULY special. AEW knows how to do huge debuts correctly. This debut and Adam's level of excitement is absolutely making me hype for his AEW run. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Just having sting and adam in the same ring is a dream come true for a lifelong wrestling fan! And the potential for a tag team run with Christian is just the icing on the cake!!
