The only problem is that Siluria's Woe does inexplicably little to no poise damage, but you can still kill most bosses in 7-10 hits.
I don’t care much for daggers in most situations but I would move the blade of calling up to B for one reason and one reason only: the ash of war doesn’t just stagger, but knock over almost any non-boss enemy. The Golden Halberd carried me through most of the early-to-mid game until I discovered Death's Poker, and even beyond when there were enemies I couldn't reliably hit with the ash of war. It's available right out the gate if you can drop the Tree Sentinel, and it's decently strong without upgrades. It's a great starting weapon that I know a lot of people ended up using for a while.
Bro, Siluria's Tree in B tier? That weapon carried me through my first faith build. The damage is downright nasty, and the range is insane. You can use the weapon are like a sniper rifle.
@John Hooper no they dont. Things that get nerfed in both are for a reason, and the devs understand that. Rivers of blood and bloodhound step are still really good, you just need to use some braincells now when using them
After 170 hours playing the game I'd say that this game is so well balanced, that you can only recognize a good build at the fact wheter fighting feels good or not. The times are gone where you can cut off a dragons tail and get the single best weapon.
Blasphemous blade has to be number one. It’s a fantastic weapon. Good damage, has fire damage instead of holy so it’s much more useful generally and can be readily buffed, it has a great ash of war AND it heals you on every kill.
Personally favorite is the Blade of calling dagger and Black knife combo, power stancing them is fun as i like the assassin combo, makes me feel like an agent of duality
Funny thing about Vykes war spear is Gideon is insanely weak to madness so if you have that weapon you can just spam the weapon art and he’ll get destroyed. That’s one of those fights where you want to be very aggressive and don’t let him get going with his magic spam
I know the sacred relic sword was nerfed in a previous patch. Its ash of war originally had more range. Also I don't think blasphemous blade is busted because taker's flame has to be pinpoint accurate to hit. So in a sense, because it's easily dodgable, it's more of a pve weapon.
The Wave of Gold on my sacred relic sword does 3000+ damage. It literally one-shots almost every non-boss in the game. Because the range is so immense, you can wipe out entire rooms with one L2.
Yeah, using this in the farm spot in mohgwyn’s palace kills everything at once and can give you absurdly fast rune farming. It also jumps down levels if you use the ash from above making it great for clearing a room from above.
There's a lot about this core game that you do not know much about lol. The Envoy Horns do insane amounts of damage. Dual Death Shotels are a nightmare to go up against in PVP. Its better just to stall out the buff duration than try and fight someone using it even with high Death Resistance stats.
The envoys Longhorn is actually one of my favorite weapons in the game. Easily in my top five. I found myself using that thing quite often and it's so fun to use. Not only does it shred bosses but the Stagger potential on it is also insane. I completely melted Placidusax before he could take to the sky.
Envoys longhorn absolutely deserves to be in A tier. The other two horn weapons deserve to be in F tier for sure, but the longhorn in particular let's out a huge barrage of bubbles that deal high holy damage, and stagger an enemy with one burst. My first playthrough was a strength faith build and that weapon took out all of the end game bosses for me
Not sure how Envoys longhorn is so low on the list since it is insanely powerful and I actually beat the Elden Beast with it in my 1st run. The ash of war melts bosses and has a ton of stagger and I have to add that Golden Vow might just be the most versatile incantation in the game, I don't use the ash of war version but the incantation itself is a must have for pretty much every build.
I'd rank the Treespear a bit higher, even though the Golden Order AoW isn't that great, it is still a 10% increase in damage. And being a spear, a thrusting weapon, it goes good with a shield for a block/poke strategy. That aside, the Treespear is also the only faith spear that can be buffed with spells, such as Bloodlfame or Lightning Armament . Which with a good seal, amounts to more than the 10% from Golden Order. I find it works great for a guard counter or block poke playstyle
Honestly I think the winged scythe is better than the halo scythe. It just doesn’t have as cool of an ash of war. It’s a stronger weapon overall and has a longer reach I believe. I’ve been using it for the majority of my play-through and have struggled to find a weapon I like more for a faith-dex build.
Golden Epitaph has one feature that's nice, specifically for skeletons/ghosts. It prevents them from getting up. Last Rites AoW used to do this, but they made it part of the weapon instead. Useful for the dungeon it's in, the Auriza Hero's Grave.
I use the Blasphemous Blade alot. It doesn't heal with standard hits. Only the ash of war and killing enemies heal. Other than that little tidbit good list and agree with most of it
They really did holy dirty in this game. Way too many enemies are either resistant or outright strong against holy and no important enemies are particularly weak to it. Also, why tf is Destined Death classed as holy? Its supposed to be God Killing, so why do Radagon and Elden Beast get 80% resistance to it? Dark Souls 1 and 2 had Dark damage, so why would they neglect it here?
I think you’re ranking the weapons without context. The holy spear is a godly weapon +10 with it’s 25% more holy damage and undead damage. Pulling it out against foes susceptible to holy damage or the undead it does numbers. Great video tho
@@Gakusangi yeah, for a channel who prides themselves on informing the viewer, he doesn't seem to be able to watch or understand the footage he recorded of him playing.

This, people are sleeping HARDDDD on Envoy’s Long Horn. That shit fucking obliterates literally any big boss. Placidusax is an absolute joke, just 3 casts of this weapon takes him from 100% to zero. I still haven’t gotten the colossal envoy horn yet, but I’d imagine it’s just if not more powerful.
@@norzza will be definitely worth your while…… got mine after 5 or 6 goes, have upgraded it fully, and whilst the bubbles can take a bit of time to launch, they’re capable of killing scores of enemies in one go as well as dealing really pretty decent damage to bosses

I dont know if that was patched or not so correct me if im wrong but last time i checked the troll hammer was buffable although it already has an element on it wich in my eyes makes it more like B to lower A tier. but if that was patched disregard me
Z.z Some seem to be +5 too, not sure what the standard is for his testing. There’s no way to make them equivalent at odd somber numbers without maxing them out so I dunno. +6 somber is +15 standard and +4 would be +10 but +5 is +12.5 which isn’t a thing.
So we start with you ranking a weapon you didn't even get to use and just made an assumption on despite it being one of the weapons with the highest DPS in the game and having the potential to nuke down even the tankiest bosses with ease, simply because you couldn't be bothered to farm for it and actually test it out to any degree. And that's how you chose to BEGIN this video. What's next? If I got to your Int weapon video, will you have failed to even know the Clayman's Harpoon even exists in the game?
Ash of wars are equipable effects that can be duplicated, sold, etc. Weapon abilities are native to unique boss weapons and can not be removed or modified. You're mixing them up.
What are the other two int/faith weapons that can be infused, other than the erdsteel dagger? I'm currently on a int/faith build so it would really be helpful Edit* found the clayman's harpoon, but missing the 3rd
Hmmmm my Faith build I was looking at online told me to get the Uchigatana, however I'm level 35 now, so what's a decent upgrade from this weapon? I've spent most of my points on faith but I have a few in dex as well.
Do you have your Uchigatana set to Holy so that it scales with faith? If so, then its a pretty decent weapon for your level. At level 35, I'd recommend just upgrading your Vigor and getting some endurance so you can wear better armor. If you want to play around with a different weapon, then you could find the winged scythe in an underground room on the south west side of the Weeping Peninsula, south of Limgrave where you start the game.
@@common_undead Actually I've got my uchigatana set to fire damage with the ash of war flames of redmanes for the stagger spam. I still kill things pretty decently, but my damage comes from my R1 after a stagger, NOT from normal or heavy attacks. I'm wearing the perfumers armor right now but i think it's kinda crap not gonna lie. I just like the cool looking cape. As for weapon I found the halo scyth but dont have the strength for it yet. I need to level up 2 more times before I can use it.
Halo scythe is very strong, and versatile. Good meme damage but even better imo ranged damage from the AoW. Great to dealing with low to mid skilled invaders too. Spam halos all day until they run out of stamina then melt them. Also as a scythe it has very good reach.
Honestly this list is already godtier because I had no idea you could perform a counter attack with the torch lol. Does the Saint torch inflict sleep on hit? Might be able to get kind of crafty with that. Edit: On second thought this is kind of bad lol
What are you using to to rate every weapon? Horseback? Solo? Crowds? Bosses? The Golden halberd is a fantastic horse back weapon with superb reach and damage, on foot it is by contrast incredibly awkward and slow. The ash on the staff is slow, but it will scatter human sized enemies if not kill them, but use it against a blackblade kindred and you are going to be at a significant disadvantage. What's your criteria? Also, not going to say more, but please read how many comments are talking about that envoys great horn! There is validity to their claims, so please go back to Leindell and farm yourself a greathorn before you rate it so badly.
I’m glad people are talking about the medium bubble blower, how the hell could you put it so low, I did a whole new game plus just bubble blowing bosses once or twice
Instead of dismissing potential criticism as butthurt shilling for a specific weapon, you could rethink your position on it fairly. Also, just dismissing a weapon because it doesn't drop makes it seem like you really don't care. The medium horn is apparently really strong and not comparable to the small one so just going "it just shoots more bubbles" seems like really bad faith. (hah)
I have 80 strength and 80 faith 80 dex. I'll use black knife and black blade incantation to start eating health and pull out marikas hammer and put in that DPS damage.
Honestly I’d argue that the St. Trina’s torch is pretty good actually. Its ability to put things to sleep? Thats a good skill to have if you need it. I’d argue a D or C tier IMO.
Envoys longhorn is one of the best weapons in the game. Not saying that because it’s my favorite weapon, but unless the enemy has 80% holy damage resistance (ahem, endgame) it can do up to 5000 damage.
Nope, best Faith weapon is... Keen Uchigatana w/ Double Slash & buffed with Bloodflame Blade :P Absurdly good synergy with FGmS, and some really good bleed build-up for good measure. It's definitely my go-to build. You have all the incantations at your disposal, but treating it like a dedicated Bleed build (Lord of Blood's Exaltation, Winged Sword Insignia, etc.) will provide the best results. Plus, you look like a Sith Lord, especially with the Confessor's set.
thanks for the video, great tiering...but also...great to see that some holy /faith weapons are constantly overlooked for their shite scaling and moveset and overall non specified usage that take time to master....all the more merrier for us to use it with PvP invaders looking for quick combos and blood all over......but as you mentioned you do not pvp or specialize in specific coop roles....
Like to give you an idea of how out of touch this guy is. He has a weapon with Death Blight in D Tier. If you see someone in PVP with dual death blight weapons unless you have a one shot build it is suicide to try and trade with them. They might actually beat you in damage and will inflict massive amounts of build up very fast. There are builds that literally kill any player in like 3-5 seconds of attacks. I have a Holy Warrior build with high resistance to death that can't even afford to trade more than once. It's much safer just to stall out the buff duration than to try and trade with them. The fact that he placed a weapon like that in D tier. Along with the Horns is pretty insane. For awhile the Envoy's had the highest Holy DPS output in the game. Now I think Wave of Gold and one or two others depending on how you see it are considered higher. But it's still a viable option for a Faith one shot build. Anything with Death Build up should be in C Tier bare minimum. Because while that ability is niche. It excels so much in the area that it's niche is actually applicable.
The envoys longhorn melts bosses who don’t move around a lot I used it in the dragonlord fight. He didn’t get to do his phase change otherwise is donkey unless your fighting a crystalian
Feel like the ratings on the crucible kinght weapons were wrong. The AoW on Ordovis's has very good stagger potential, hits quick, and deals a lot more damage if you scale it with it faith. the sword itself does slightly above-par dmg, and will perform better if scaled with the primary scaler, strength. I'd say mid-high B. Siluria's spear is just like an assortment of other great spears, but with my experience, has a longer range, even if by a bit. You can use the AoW as a projectile when fully charged, and as a melee-range AoE attack that deals STUPID damage regardless, since it's counted as both holy and physical. Again, it will work better for you if you scale it with the primary scaler, strength. low-mid A. Ik this is your opinion, but I think that you're judging unfairly for many other weapons, as well, like you used them for ~5 minutes, rated your experience mentally, and haphazardly slapped them wherever you felt when done. No hate, just trying to give some criticism.
I thin you forgot the greataxe that scales with faith. I cant remember the name. Looks like a Butcher clever. U get it from an invandring npc dressed up as a maiden
It does seem like there is favoritism to Weapons with physical attacks, compared to weapons that are "Boring" I don't think that word was said in the video, just the impression I got.
Staff of the avatar has the highest potential AR in the GAME when set up properly. Definitely not D tier. The AoW is meh but has very high one shot potential most of the time in pvp if you can actually pull it off and makes for a good laugh too
I disagree on the ranking ofEnvoy’s longhorn. It is definitely an S tier weapon, and doesn’t belong in the low tier. It destroys big boss enemies like dragons, and those weak to holy damage like an Omen, Death Rite Bird or a Cemetery Shade.
The ash of war on the medium horn is absurdly powerful. It melts boss health bars. That specific one should at least be in B tier.
Yeah, right out of the gate I kinda get the impression that not a lot of research went into this video.

How dare you have the same weapon ranks as me!! I'm hurt... (Good video, thanks :D )
Other than that little tidbit good list and agree with most of it
thankfully it doesn't heal on regular hits. It's already broken with that ash of war and the amount of heal/dmg...
Love this vid my boi - plenty of love from down here in Aus. Subbed!
I think you’re ranking the weapons without context. The holy spear is a godly weapon +10 with it’s 25% more holy damage and undead damage. Pulling it out against foes susceptible to holy damage or the undead it does numbers. Great video tho
Thats fair, I try to treat them all the same with some light comparisons between weapons of the same types.
There are two int katanas, one arcane katana and no faith katanas. I hate everything.
Fantastic video!
You outta damn mind, golden epitaph eats undead enemies and eliminates skellies completely where they can't return
the blasfamos blade only heals you on hits with the skill and kills with the weapon. not on normal hits, that burns the enemy.
bruh you could've at least used autocorrect on blasphemous
Wait, he didn't even get that right?
@@Gakusangi yeah, for a channel who prides themselves on informing the viewer, he doesn't seem to be able to watch or understand the footage he recorded of him playing.
@@Phykes_ the auto correct thing I have installed on my PC didn't pick it up as a mistake so I left it, sorry.

St Bernardy
@@stbernardy7 I thought it was bad enough he opened with the Envoy's Horn and thought it was okay to put out a video with an opinion on an item he didn't even get to test out because he didn't get it to drop from the enemies. I mean... don't make the video then, your data is incomplete XD
Just so you know the long horn is op if you set it up right
Carried me throughout the rest of the game after I got it
This, people are sleeping HARDDDD on Envoy’s Long Horn. That shit fucking obliterates literally any big boss. Placidusax is an absolute joke, just 3 casts of this weapon takes him from 100% to zero.
I still haven’t gotten the colossal envoy horn yet, but I’d imagine it’s just if not more powerful.
I spent over an hour in an a full arcane build and a fowl foot buff and it wouldn't drop! I keep trying and test it out :)
@@norzza will be definitely worth your while…… got mine after 5 or 6 goes, have upgraded it fully, and whilst the bubbles can take a bit of time to launch, they’re capable of killing scores of enemies in one go as well as dealing really pretty decent damage to bosses
I'll keep trying. This series is partly a quest for me to collect every weapon in the game, so I'll need it eventually.
Watched 5 minutes of the video thinking I might learn something only to scroll into the comments and find out Horns are actually useful... I think I'll just sticking to reading the stats on fextra and testing them myself rather than watching poorly researched videos lmao
I dont know if that was patched or not so correct me if im wrong but last time i checked the troll hammer was buffable although it already has an element on it wich in my eyes makes it more like B to lower A tier. but if that was patched disregard me
My man upgraded non-Somberstone weapons to +10 and called them weak 💀
Z.z
Some seem to be +5 too, not sure what the standard is for his testing. There’s no way to make them equivalent at odd somber numbers without maxing them out so I dunno. +6 somber is +15 standard and +4 would be +10 but +5 is +12.5 which isn’t a thing.
I used blasphemous blade with rykards shard for insane health gains when clearing mobs it's great for saving your flasks
Love the video !! The Blasphemous Blade is a crazy weapon & Who the hell thought of these weapons ??
THis video is proof that you need to get every weapon you're going to be ranking in a tier list before ranking them 🤣🤣
envoy's long horn is actually really good against large enemies, I'd still give it at least C tier against everything else
long horn B tier is crazy
What are the other two int/faith weapons that can be infused, other than the erdsteel dagger?
I'm currently on a int/faith build so it would really be helpful
Edit* found the clayman's harpoon, but missing the 3rd
The sword of night and flame is the third 😀
@@norzza that one has innate faith and magic damage. You cannot infuse it with another AoW.
Your insane envoys long horn does ridiculous damage
Envoys longhorn is the most damaging PVE weapon in the game against large enemies
Building a faith character here (first play through) and currently running cipher pata and Erdsteel Dagger - working okay so far.
i love the "i don't have the weapon but i'm going to list it"
The halo scythe’s skill actually has better range and damage than the ash of war version of that disc of light
what armor set is he using at 5:20 ?
Winged sycthe S-tier for how early you can get it and how friendly it makes learning the games mechanics
Bro, the Envoy' Longhorn slays every boss in game! Wtf lol
I'm impressed only in how little research or effort went into this video.
I’m glad people are talking about the medium bubble blower, how the hell could you put it so low, I did a whole new game plus just bubble blowing bosses once or twice
watching this as a pure int build just to see what im missing out on 😔😔😭😭
Golden Halberd is an easy A if not even an S Tier. It gets over 1000 DMG, solid moveset and can buff itself
(hah)
People really over sell the reduction of enemies max health
Alone I don't think its great, but the skill does good dmg and a small about of damage over time as well.
What is that armour, please? 6:50
Keen Uchigatana w/ Double Slash & buffed with Bloodflame Blade :P
Absurdly good synergy with FGmS, and some really good bleed build-up for good measure.
None of those make that a faith weapon at all
@@runwords_ My faith/dex builds disagree
@@StrunDoNhor this is a review of all weapons with natural faith scaling. Infusing a weapon with a holy AoW doesn’t really count.
The Eclipse shotels weapon art has a second hit that you dont do in the video. maybe you missed it.
thanks for the video, great tiering...but also...great to see that some holy /faith weapons are constantly overlooked for their shite scaling and moveset and overall non specified usage that take time to master....all the more merrier for us to use it with PvP invaders looking for quick combos and blood all over......but as you mentioned you do not pvp or specialize in specific coop roles....
It's not great tiering to be honest. There's clearly a lot about the core game he knows nothing about
Like to give you an idea of how out of touch this guy is.
OMG the digimon movie reference killed me
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Winged scythe carried me early to mid game.
No hate, just trying to give some criticism.
bubble battle, and everything in red, I laughed too much XD
St. Trina's torch is really good if you wasted all your sleep arrows on failed boss attempts
There's just a single weapon, which every faith build needs and will never put away.
The Blasphemous Blade.
Nah, its super boring to use imo. I hate it when I can mindlessly tap L2 and just win. Takes a lot of the fun out of the game for me.
Off to a great start when you put long horn at D tier…
I thin you forgot the greataxe that scales with faith. I cant remember the name. Looks like a Butcher clever. U get it from an invandring npc dressed up as a maiden
What’s the armor with the blue cape at 5:20?
Looks like CARIAN KNIGHT set with a hood or cloak for a helmet?
It does seem like there is favoritism to Weapons with physical attacks, compared to weapons that are "Boring" I don't think that word was said in the video, just the impression I got.
My brother in christ, your drip is INSANE what are the pieces
Do you upgrade all of the weapons to +24/+9?
Marika's hammer isn't a faith weapon? Or did i miss it in the video?
I loved the golden halberd but I sold mine on accident, was sooooo upset..
Staff of the avatar has the highest potential AR in the GAME when set up properly. Definitely not D tier. The AoW is meh but has very high one shot potential most of the time in pvp if you can actually pull it off and makes for a good laugh too
Did I miss Inseperable Sword? Or it's not in the list.
Envoy's Longhorn in the D tier??! With the envoy hat and some skill buff talismans I've yet to find a single boss live through a 2nd toot, but okay...
I disagree on the ranking ofEnvoy’s longhorn. It is definitely an S tier weapon, and doesn’t belong in the low tier. It destroys big boss enemies like dragons, and those weak to holy damage like an Omen, Death Rite Bird or a Cemetery Shade.
They need to make better Halberds and great axes! I want a faith build with one of those weapons. Too many swords
