Thankyou. I've really enjoyed doing them----especially the four Victoria de los Angeles at Home in Barcelona Conversations, and the five Elisabeth Schwarzkopf Edinburgh Masterclasses. I now have a condensed catalogue of both singers speaking and singing all in one place. I come to RUclips instead of going to my collection!

Two things I will always remember. In the 1950' and early 60's Victoria always wore a shawl that matched her dress. When it was time for the Spanish section of the evening, she would change into a beautiful lace Spanish shawl. The Audience would go crazy.
We always knew the evening was over when Victoria would come out with her guitar to sing and play Adios Granada. The audience could never get enough.

+lochness11 Oh, yes. When we heard Clavelitos, we knew the end of the recital was near. Sometimes, she sang the Habañera. Then, she would address the public w the question: "Una Guitarra?" at which 5 or 6 people would approach the stage & she would choose one & end the concert w Adios Granada to explosive applause & an endless Standing Ovation. So well deserved.
