We all know that "elixir" is just marketing. So far it seems like most of the elixirs are better performers. As long as that continues to be the case, then I won't mind if the trend sticks around a bit longer.
But they're also more expensive tho. They seem to perform slightly above "Parfum" grade, but definetly below Attar or Extract de Parfum. Somewhere in between.

Lemon and oregano make great ingredients when paired in food (Greek food immediately comes to mind). I'm actually optimistic about the new Moschino. The musk and vetiver and the base combined with those mids ought to be interesting
As a big fan of Ralphs Club, ya, im excited about this! The One would be a great elixer candidate. That dna is fantastic, love the EDP but it could definitely use a boost in performance, maybe just a touch more loud but still date night capable. In the footsteps of Armani Attitude in a way, magnetic, commanding, with the ability to be safe to be in its bubble, not overwhelming.
I'd be very interested in a D&G Light Blue Italian Love / Forever Elixir. 10/10 fantastic scents cranked up to 11 with more woods and some incense maybe, that'd be right up my alley.
I was in a Sephora a few days ago and two frags caught my attention. The first one was i thought Ralphs Club Parfum. But then i learned online that there is a Ralphs Club Elixir. So, it may have been the elixir that i liked so much at Sephora. I was planning on going back to buy it, and now i'm curious to find out whether it was the parfum or elixir. But what a great scent. If it was the parfum, then i'll wait to see what the elixir smells like. The second frag that caught my attention was Acqua Di Gio Absolu with its fresh fruity scent, great projection and nice bottle as well. On this video, the Boss Bottled Elixir & Karl Lagerfield Bois De Ceder also sound pretty interesting. One thing i like about these newer elixirs is that there is no cinnamon in them. I was never crazy about cinnamon, and now i'm plain tired of it since its everywhere. Unless its a coffee, chocolate type of frag or an actual coffee or pastry, i dont care to smell cinnamon in frag anymore. And though i like dior sauvage elixir and other frags with cinnamon, i think they would be better without it. I think that note just slightly removes the possibility for these frags to be more versatile and more multi season.

an interesting one will be dior homme elixir. one that takes dior homme parfum to the next level. Given that its hard to find DHP in the US it will be interesting for Dior to give us something new in that line
