Troy my man. Totally agree with you on this one. Really happy they went more dark and masculine scent vs other releases. To me it’s kinda a less in your faces sauvage elixir but instead of heavy spices it’s incense
The key here is that Coty and Hugo Boss decided to splurge and hire two heavy duty perfumers for this scent. One is the key person behind many of Amouage’s Men Fragrances. They also allocated Patchouli Heart and Frankincense that is of the highest grade. Normally, this would make the scent be $300+, but due to their sheer size (a global supernaut in fashion and fragrances) they kept the price down. It will not be for everyone. Especially right now with the whole sweet bomb mentality of many designers, but make no mistake, this scent is the bomb. Great review.😊👊🏽
@@TroyD247Mall Thanks man. Another good way to use Elixir is to layer it with Armani Stronger With You Intensely. Just one small spray of Intensely on each wrist, one spray on each clavicle (never spray your neck like so many do: it’s bad for your skin and no one will enjoy hugging you if their face is directly in contact with winter fragrances), maybe one on your chest areas and then do the usual sprays of Bottled Elixir. Smells heavenly.🥹😂🤣
I love this stuff...smells like Dr. Pepper brewed in a wooden barrel. My wife has a really good nose for mens fragrance - and she loves it too. I bought 2 bottles for sure. Some reviewers have said this one is boring.....yeah nah it definitely is not boring absolutely lasts longer than 9 hours - its massive
I was slightly disappointed based upon all the hype around this scent. For just over $100 usd I have smelled similar for much less, Milestone Velvet Incense for $21 smells very close. All in all not a bad scent just a bit over hyped.
