I see a LOT of hate online about the Aurora as a night vision helmet mount device. I’m looking at it more for a suburban walk around surveillance/emergency scenario vision device. If you have this and the bad guy doesn’t have it, I would see that as a huge advantage. How many smash and grab criminals have night vision of any kind? Alternatively for you, what’s more discrete - walking with a handheld Aurora with an intermittent IR flashlight or a dude with 2 PVS14 helmet mounted NODs in full kit running around the neighborhood in intermittent light being spotted on the surveillance cameras?
