My Sionyx Pro with a cheap ir and a Steiner TOR ir laser. It's nowhere as good as actual military night vision, but for 400 bucks total, it's fun to play with.

Barrel Porting Jig

I needed to port the barrel on my Welrod pistol project, so I made this jig that will.track the lands and grooves allowing me to mark where to drill on the outside of the barrel.

does making your own primers save any money?
Does it have lugs or is it held in place by that wooden wedge?
to bad there is no modern Replika of this Revolver
Impressive work, looks just like the original. did you make it all from scratch?
Hey what's that stock??
Blidclart
hi, where you download blueprint? Thx
You may want to consider trying EPH 20 (and the EPH 2x series of compounds). This series of compounds are non-corrosive, and don't become shock sensitive until AFTER you have filled the primer cup; a drop of 50/50 alcohol/water is applied to the primer cup after both the cup is filled with compound and the anvil has been seated. When the water dries, the compound turns into a hard, concrete-like disk (meaning no need for a paper disk, too), and becomes shock sensitive. The base EPH 20 compound is perfect for small pistol primers, with the later EPH 2x series being great for magnum pistol primers, large pistol primers, small rifle primers, and of course large rifle magnum primers. The EPH 2x series is easily made from readily available materials. There is one lab process required, but if you can boil water, you can do the lab. There are also tools out there now that allow you to easily reload 100 primers in a few minutes.
don't forget to say that lead salts are poisonous and carcinogenic
@@rodrigocirilo7343 Every commercial primer sold today, whether in commercially purchased ammo itself or primers for reloading, contain the exact same lead substances as the EPH series of primer compounds.
@@floorpizza8074 however you are not directly manipulating it, like when you do EPH!
@@rodrigocirilo7343 And it is very easy to take precautions to not be exposed to lead, those being the exact same precautions I use when casting my own bullets. The majority of lead exposure happens when the gun is fired, as the lead in the priming compounds is atomized, making it far more of an inhalation risk than the possibility of exposure when making leaded priming compounds. This is why indoor ranges have to meet such stringent ventilation requirements.
Just saw Ian McCollum's video about the Welrod (first heard for me, no pun intended), and am impressed as hell to see it in action!
That's a real beauty. Very authentic looking too.
That looks better than the lancer systems handguard!

All kinds of crappy gun handling. “Police” on the shirt isn’t a surprise 😂
well built
did the 45acp cases slip right in?
I use a pure lead .577 HBRN that I swage up to .587 and insert a 3/8" diameter wood plug into. I do not drill a hollow point. They shoot very accurately from my Snider Cavalry Carbine @ 50 yd bullseye target. My 3 band rifle loves a lead .585 round ball shot from 24 gauge cheddite hulls. I would like to try .590 round balls in my Carbine to see if they would work.
That's WILD how quiet it is
I had a backpack strap cut and fixed to the foreend and that helps a lot
Chicken winging like a Vietnam vet
The silence is so absurd and even shocking for me.
Nice thumper. Why am I seeing so much gas etc?

Cool gun. You should check out the Straight-pull ARs that people use in the UK. They usually add an extension to the charging handle that allows them to cycle the action without changing their grip
Yeah, I would call this a side charger before I'd call it a straight pull
Nice little brush gun for Pennsylvania whitetail.👌
It sure would be
Can you change it out with different parts for different gauges?
Was this built from a kit?
That's a zesty wrist you got there lol
Thank you
Jesse!! JESSE!!! We need to COOK!!!
Large rifle, small rifle, pistol, what?? How readily available are the anvils ? Any restrictions on chemicals?
Good video. I enjoyed that. Did the accuracy remain the same with more power?
Raw as fuck
I have thought about this whole primer / percussion cap unavailability. IMO, IT IS UNACEPTABLE! If you get hurt trying to make these things, get a lawyer and sue them (I think most of them come from Vista Outdoors) there is no reason these should not be redily available. After they start losing millions of $, then they might add a new building and add on.
Would there be a demonstration of firing?
Beautiful work, a lot of attention to detail. Well done!
Nice end of the world ability 👍
Maybe your compression seal/cup is worn out, or the spring is sagged out, because in stock condition the Buck should reach 270fps. With the cobalt spring it will do a little over 350.
I replaced the factory main spring with a DIY spring made out of slightly larger diameter spring wire. My out of the box velocities weren't even close to the velocity stated on the box. With my DIY spring I originally was getting just a bit over 400 fps. After a few months of wearing in those 400-plus velocities started hoovering in the 385 to 390 range. I didn't mess with the boring out of the little tube. I didn't see the need to. Right now, I'm in the process f retrofitting my second Daisy RR with a gas spring. It should be a hoot to shoot.
I did the same thing to my little Buck. I found a stronger spring and installed it, simple as that. Over my chronograph it's now shooting around 350fps, give or a take a few fps. Not bad and now it's got some good power to it. Straight through both sides of a coke can at 10 yards. Accuracy is still great too. Adding a gas spring would be awesome, let us know how that goes!
What kind of gas spring do you use?(sorry for my English)
nice job.👍
Like a poor little child. Grow up, learn some basic Chem hygiene.
Extremely cool! Using smokeless loads or black powder in your cases?
Need that stock 😅
Wonderful job! I have one of that revolvers and I'll give you my experience. I use bullets from a Lee mould .450"/200 g just as comes out of the mould. Is a flat base bullet for cap & balls, and I've got an amazing accuracy. I have a lathe but I use old Berdan brass which reform manually. Thanks and greetings from Argentina.
Fantastic!
What about the Harding liquid that it comes with. Also what does the glass do and is it necessary?
How hard is it to pull the bolt back?
Is this corrosive?
Yep. Any primer that contains potassium chlorate (and that includes primers made with toy cap gun primers and with matches' heads) is corrosive.
I see you had to cut the screams of the guy tied to the chair just out of frame.
Hard to tell the difference
Phone mic's automatically adjust their levels. This test isn't useful without a dB meter.
@@SimplestUsername ooooh. I never knew that. Was actually considering getting an 8.5" 300bkout from a friend but not sure about the noise difference... With subs, no can.... How loud? Is it worth the fuss just for that. Otherwise I don't need it
Absolutely awsome
