- This is a snippet from a concert The Hitmen performed in 2013 at The Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun.
Gerry Polci sings the biggest hit the Four Seasons ever had, "December 1963". More people probably know the song as "Oh, What A Night."
RIP Don and Larry. - Видеоклипы
He's still got that beautiful voice! What a talent. And lovely to see humans dancing, smiling and enjoying themselves.
Gerry Polci, he’s the man!
Gerry was only 23 when he sang on the original. Nice to see him here all those years on.
Gerry Polci was my first crush, for some reason...this WAS my favourite song when I was 10
He's still my crush
absolutely amazing song. Gerry Polci is a legend
I've seen the Hit Men many times when they came to Maryland. Gerry Polci and I were classmates together at Passaic High School in NJ. This video is ten years old so listen to how strong his vocals are at 61!
😢😢 Damn .......
The right voice for this song conveys sexiness, and this guy delivers!
this drummer is a fuckin legend
Still sounds great. His vocals on this tune just shine like a spotlight even when Franki Valli was singing next to him. I just added it to my acoustic solo rep and it is a tough tune to live up to the energy of. Thank you for being that spark plug, and for working hard to still sound great Gerry!
He sounds amazing after all of these years. Drum player plus singer WOW
Gerry's voice cuts like butter! So smooth!
Their voices and musicianship are off the charts. It's like a time machine. Amazing.
I couldn't agree more. Everyone plays so well off each other. Every time one of them smiles, I smile as well.
He still sounds awesome. They all do
Indeed! I wish Don Ciccone could have been at this concert as well. His voice aged like fine wine.
This is dope, such a great song and Gerry Polci rips.
I couldn't agree more. He is my all time favorite drummer.
Gerry Polci is absolutely incredible
Awesome Gerry Polci is one of my favorite
Gary Polci is a mega-star ... this was amazing!
Oh Wow! I've loved The Four Seasons for over 50 years and always appreciate learning new things about the Group as a whole and about individuals in the group. ❤️❤️❤️
I can’t belive what I am hearing. Such an angelic voice, and the band is strutting with musical joy and skill. And surely the choiring is playback? The level of «accuracy/cleaness» of the harmonies they sing here is hard to do live. What a song!
so sad I didn't get to see Gerry before he retired. He's gotta return!!
One of the best wedding reception songs ever and if you want to get your lady in the mood for dancing...
Great drummer...your voice is super...The band is awesome too...🎉
From all videos I’ve watched, Polci is known for playing drums in the traditional grip. However, in this video, he seems to be playing in a hybrid of the traditional and and matched grip, with his (left) thumb on top of the stick.
Hitting that open hihat - closed hihat - open hihat - floor tom pattern toward the end of the song, especially while singing, is freaking inspiring.
Oh man I was about to go to sleep this came in my feed and I just started dancing like crazy!
What a fabulous rendition! Wish I had been there to hear it live. The drummer/lead singer sounds amazing.
Lovely and unforgettable voices of Gelcy and Don😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Still got it💓
Words can’t describe how much I love this song 💗
Me too. It helped me to recover from an eating disorder. I prefer The Hitmen singing it to The Four Seasons, though Gerry leads on both. I prefer Larry, the bassist, to Frankie.
My favourite of all time ...and played it at my daughters 16th for the main dance
i love this song...i remember dancing to this song with my sister in law debbie the bartender in niagara falls...i guess it was different back then in the falls...when i moved here fifteen yrs ago i was told i was elderly at 40 and i was lucky by the mayor?? unlike the mayor i was raised in welland we are not ageist, the bears den, the devils den and unlike his 2nd hand news we speak directly to the source ...i love these guys
He sounds fantastic!
Great performance
Love, love, love this song! ❤️🔥
Great memories of 1978 listening to this song. Wow
best performance of this song so fucking good
respect to this guy
Still good looking we all get old
Listening to this, I'm 15 again :)
expert band and singers, Gerry sounds great
Gerry still very handsome as ever, and still has an awesome voice 😘 the Hit Man sound so awesome 🤗 does anyone know if they still perform ☺
They no longer perform. Lee Shapiro is still their manager but the entire band is comprised of different members now.
Still got it!!!!! Always will!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Gerry rules!
Looks like a good time with some talented men enjoy the nth time they drop this classic, 👌
One of the best songs around. Great job!
Sounds great!!
Gerry was 23 when he first sang this
Great band!
im 33, im so love this song)
God Bless all who help Frogman - i wonder if he ever saw the young man who plays his songs sounds just like Frogman - i was on malt shop cruise and he was there, i thought he was related to Frogman. I hope he gets a chance some how to see this young man.
With a voice like that why the hell did he even look at a drum set
Haha ya really!
Karen carpenter loved being behind her drum set. And she had the purest tone voice of any female pop singer.
Wow, gracias!!!
Gerri polici❤ a legend 🥲
Gerry Polci is a great singer and drummer, but I'd also like to mention Lee Shapiro resonant speaking voice. He makes a great MC.
Gotta reunite him with Frankie one more time!!
Go head Bassie!!! Nice
💗💗💗💗💗💗
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
This is fantastic. In addition to Gerry Polci, are other original performers of the song onstage?
Yes, it is fantastic! They are my favorite band of all time, singing my favorite song of all time. That is why I uploaded this. (:
The pianist, Lee Shapiro, was the pianist for The Four Seasons in the 70s. Don Ciccone, who originally sang Larry's part, was a co-founder of the band but he passed away before his concert.
Every song they perform live has featured at least one member of The Hitmen playing on it in some way. For example, they do a cover of Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown. Jimmy Ryan, the guitarist, played guitar for Jim on the original recording.

Tbh i am not a gay, but thier banner is actually cute during his 20s singing this song 😂
In my case 13, not 23!
*Why does the original track sound funkier than this one?*
who’s on the keyboard he looks so familiar?
His name is Lee Shapiro. He was one of the Four Seasons in the 70s and 80s.
@@ShiningArohathank you for this classic and most original players. All fantastic. New fav.
Why do they clip the singing in old age. It's too casual and not serious enough. It sounds like just what it is. Old timers doing an old song.
Shame they autotuned his voice.
