Can I Beat Pokemon Scarlet using ONLY Gen 2 Pokemon?

- I attempt to beat a Pokemon Scarlet hardcore nuzlocke using only the 100 pokemon native to gen 2's Johto region. Can I do it or will I lose?
This was defiantly the most stressful run yet so I hope you guys enjoy!

My favourite Johto pokemon is so easy Feraligatr hands down, The Mighty Crocodile and one of my favourite water pokemon.
I'm gonna die on this rock but totodile and it's evolutions are by far my favourite starters followed by Rowlet and feucoco
My favourite gen2 pokemon is Ampharos, I remember being rly fond of it when I first played it as a child. Also rly liked Misdreavus for some reason

Same here too bad the CRYSTAL version got rid of it since Mereep isn't even IN that version at all, But Chikorita is still CRAP.
My favorite Johto Pokemon is a toss up between Espeon and Umbreon. Espeon is cute and has always been a good Psychic Pokemon for me to use and Umbreon has such a cool and slick design and has the ability to tank hits for days. Special shoutout to the Umbreon and Espeon from Pokemon Colosseum.

Scizor is such a dope Pokémon. Down to its typing and design it’s just so clean. Simply Perfection!👌🏾 This is why it’s my #1 favorite.

I did similar thing for my first playthrough of violet. I wanted to focus on mainly johto mons so I caught houndour to use as my starter. The only exception for the first half of the game was a full odds shiny pawmi I found.

I know this is a bit of a weird Johto favorite, but I just love Murkrow so much! I think it's a mix of using it here and there in playthroughs and some early Gen 9 VGC shenanigans. I also really like how Murkrow looks too

I love kingdra because of the fact that it has such a clean desighn and I just love the guy in genaral
My favorite Gen2 Pokemon are the protagonists starters in Pokemon Colosseum.. Espeon and Umbreon! Also uh.. Misdreavus, even though it wouldn't evolve until Gen4. It was fun just to have it in Colosseum.. since it was the only snaggable ghost type.
Coil + belly drum Linnoon is slept on. What's literally any stab attack in the other 2 slots is devastating. But any physical attack for coverage works.
Typhlosion is my favorite Johto pokemon. Nickname something Garfield for me 😍
My favorite Pokemon from Johto, by far, is Feraligatr, and then Typhlosion, Scizor, and Magcargo. The obvious issue with third place being that I can't get access to one in Johto unless I trade over something in another version that has access to the post game. My other favorites are Gligar, Murkrow, Houndoom, Piloswine, Donphan, Skarmory, Qwilfish, Ursaring, Tyranitar, Yanma, and Stantler. Imagine how happy I was when most of these got evolutions or variants or both.
Also Slowking, Kingdra, Hitmontop, Quagmire, Ho-Oh, Ampharos, Granbull, Aipom, Ariados, Porygon2, Steelix, Foretress, Umbreon, Mantine, and Heracross. There is too many good Johto ones.
