The Honest Bunch is an audio-visual podcast that focuses on discussing real millennial and Gen z issues with no holds barred.
There are 4 main personalities on the show - Nedu, Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Naomi. The cast members bring their unique individual personalities and wit to the show. Occasionally, a guest is brought on to share opinions on topics tailored to their experiences, interests, or personalities.
At Honest Bunch, we are telling original Nigerian realities from the lens of the youth.
The show is stupendously funny, inconceivably revealing, somewhat shocking, and yet unequivocally informative.

Husband Material is such a gifted Moderator. 🙌🏾
Nedu should learn to let others talk. Akwsys interjecting others. Not cool.
Eziinne is one lady that was well raised. Real woman.
The Gamic CEO, The young man is really cool and intelligent.
He's my best of the team he speaks smoothly, flawlessly ...... He's really a husband material
Actually, I would love a bit of shake up.. like seeing Diety anchor the show, for once kinda..
I thought I was the only one irritated by Nedu. Meanwhile, I think Husband Material should receive the accolade ascribed to Nedu. He is multilingual, intelligent, intellectual, knowledgeable yet humble and well mannered.
Ezinne , my sister, Nwa Aba, ya gazie re gi.
Since you guys love to speak Igbo language sometimes, I think you should add subtitles in such cases
It is subtitled click the CC
Exactly
@@humanhuman9447 I know about that but it only subtitles English - English. Doesn't subtitles any other language to English
@@Lovaxis Why should it be another language
Can’t u speak English??
They speak even more English than other tribes podcast I’ve seen in Nigeria tbh
Yes i know Ezinne , she was my opposite room mate in Hostel C in Abia State University.
The babe was a real comedienne then, she was damm funny.
😊😊. I will love to meet her again.
Husband material knows something about everything. Homie is well grounded!!
called doing your homework its his job
So knowledgeable and articulate ☺️
I chased UNIZIK for two years going for Petroleum Engineering, had to settle lastly for Computer Science in another university. The Education sector really messed people’s career paths..
When ezinne first came to this podcast, i really no like am cuz i was missing Naomi. But omo, i can say she's very intelligent. Always has intellectual views on every subject.
no wonder Ezinne is always making sense in arguments....I can see that are discipline in school(English language and literature)gave her that edge....much love to ezinne❤❤❤❤
I studied English and Literature. She’s so right, I don’t know language rearrangement and all and love listening to stories
When I visited my dad in the USA as a child, I would do his friend’s and their children’s hair all summer and I would have so much money doing that ($20-$200 depending on the style). I can still do hair, but my passion was Science (Biology) so I went to school for that. I’m good as a Scientist now; but I always know, if I don’t have that job; I can go back to doing hair.
Never got pressured by my parents, thankfully, I just had to go to university- I had the freedom to study what I wanted; all my siblings do.
My aunt in the US has a PhD but na braided she be. She was in medical school in africa, she would never have combed out someone's hair in africa
Oga Nedu always interrupting Ezinne, and i love how she handles it, always love keeping her cool. He keeps interrupting her abd doesn't allow her to talk. The Gamic CEO is so intelligent and i was really looking forward to this episode, because I felt he would fill us in of the opportunities in the tech space but Nedu always interrupts with his stories. It is well
Our education is wack, this Yvonne Nelson book made me know that waec has a rewrite exam in nov-dec exam if you fail some subjects, instead of writing the whole subjects the next year. So one can rewrite the subjects they didn’t pass, that same year. Why is it not available in Nigeria
Ready or not here I come … if you’re a fan of Deity thumbs up and big ups to Ada Aba too much energy ✌🏼 …
Strange tings
@@michaelkemas what’s strange here ?
Yes oo .. I would love to see Diety anchor the show one day…
@@opeyemialausa8685 I bet she’s somewhere around the world again and I pray she returns for next episode …
She’s in the Uk
Even our religion was chosen for us by our parents.
For Nedu to know doc mcstuffins he must really spend time with his kids
I studied what I wanted and I am currently working in something relating to my field.
I have decided to pursue a second degree too.
Biko I await 5th of July .
Congrats
Abeg dat baba Dey talk, instead of rushing to mine the gold; sale the shovel. Preach pastor!!!
I still didnt go to a university oooo😢. I encouraged myself to have an NCE certification after marriage so that i can boast of a certificate . But i can stand where even PhD students stands. Many of the so called masters holders cant even construct simple English... But now o, na money i wan count not anybook again mbok😅
To me ehh, this episode is really exceptional. Among all the episodes i have watched so far here, i can tell, that this one extraordinary and exceptional. Real facts are here. Everyone of you delivers EXCELLENTLY. You will definitely understand why that word is in caps, coz it's a carrier, it carries weight and so much in it. The episode entered my body, soul and spirit. I enjoyed it. Keep going guys. People watching this podcast for 30 seconds and rant critics are really missing a lot. I say it with my full chest and from the top and bottom of my heart. We can get back our society that was long gone if all these sense-installed conversations happens daily in our lives.
We would have seen the change we've long been awaiting for. And the good news is, this podcast in a whole, gives more than enough even to the simple. These people, abeg make una keep rolling. I like it as I'm seeing all that is happening here. I just can't talk less. I feel like to keep talking, but mere words only can't express how great am feeling about this episode. I rank it top and the best.
Jamb jambed me so much that i could fill my forms without without readung the bronchure. I knew my state and local government codes well. I gave up on writting ot oh when even with my managed 242, i still needed to know somebody to go school .
I applied for actuarial science coa i thought id be lucky with it since its not a popular course..... WAHALORRRR
This is the best podcast in Nigeria. Thank you so much guys. I always look forward to watching you guys every Monday and I always learn a lot!
I studied business administration and management but
Both Directors, lawyers, engineers etc we are all in the same labor market 😭😭😭😭
Thanks for this topic
The best podcast in Nigeria
Same thing with skincare. Remeber when a very few were fighting to do the advert, before we knownit they release the pattern. People who first learned were selling massively. Someone realized the money is in teaching. Oil making and branding classes come yakpa. Now they have to drop those crazy prices
I'm not certain if this still occurs, but traditionally, in JSS 3, students typically undergo an aptitude test. Following the test, the state ministry will recommend two or three broad career paths for every child, such as Technology oriented , Engineering oriented, and Science oriented.
Most times, our parents see far and better than we could ever see. I wanted to study agricultural engineering, but my uncle insisted I study nursing. Today, I'm grateful I listened. It was the same for my younger sister. She wanted to study medicine, but my uncle also insisted she studied marine engineering. Today, she's doing very well far more than she would probably have done as a doctor.
Well said, but would you say you are grateful because of the financial gains and career path as a nurse in the world or because you outgrew your 'idea' about AGRICULTURE?
Nursing has opened so many doors for me, and the opportunity for progression is visible. The diversification in nursing is what I'm mostly grateful for. Well, my love for agriculture still remains.
Very nice show. Enjoy it. I think it would be great if Nedu let others talk. I think Nedu could be wiser if he listened more or even take time to descend before he speaks. He is too quick to talk
It is very easy to change careers from from science to art but very difficult to move from arts to science... Think well and choose a career of your choice...
I really bless the day I discovered the honest Bunch.
Studied accounting, about to become chartered and looking forward to study data analytics
Have always wanted to study accounting
But working as a store keeper
like HM always says, "it is impossible for one to leave an episode without learning something". The level of intellect this podcast displays is amazing. you guys make Mondays worth looking forward to. Big shouts out to the number 1 podcast in the world
I have watch virtually every episode of the honest bunch, this is by far the most interesting.
Wow
Husband material, were you born this smooth?!!
Youre too much!!!
Skill and relevance building still get its own place
How many MUA’s are still MUA’s they’ve lost the market because they didn’t have skill nor relevance
There are still successful doctors lawyers engineers innnit?
If you grasp the market hold it and gain relevance nothing waters down skill
Only facts💯
This episode would have been super interesting if Toun (Deitycole) was here, just imagine that beautiful laughter when reacting to Husband Material's part of story. You people are always amazing
i'm a secondary school graduate, and i have love forex trading since my young age, and i'm very good at it, But i'm still unable to open a live account, because of lack of money, no support
Wow! Ezinne, thank you for sharing this profound spiritual experience with us. It wasn’t weird it was Devine wisdom that (Agwu )came to instruct you.
Please apply this to your program allow individual's to share his/her experience to educate others.
I like your guest...he has a sound mind.
I really enjoy your podcast. Super amazing. Nedu and H.M, you keep it real.
Please, can you make room for a professional sign language interpreter to facilitate communication between hearing individuals and those who are deaf or hard of hearing?
Please, think about it.
O learnt making hair ON MY OWN HEAD . The hair that i dont k ow gow to do os what theyve not done in my eyes . I like doing anything that gives me my privacy becauae my silence is my inspiration .
Also woth tailoring, i was just curious about how they make pieces into those nice things and it made me go to see what it was about . My God when i followed tailoring, it looked like i used jazz. I became rich inside me before physical. Na me kiss daniel sing id be rich till i die for oooo
In their time, parents played a crucial role in guiding their children's course choices, which was not selfish but rather a reflection of the prevailing norms. Many children then and even now still lack the opportunity to engage in academic career discussions with their parents. This disparity can often be attributed to differences in exposure. It is our hope that we can break this cycle and provide our own children with more supportive guidance.
I Listin to you Pod cast on a steady !!!!!
Love you Guys !!
@Nedu you too Baba
Very interesting podcast, I could relate to everything you guys said here. I also think those career mistakes also have their way of shaping us into something better
I can relate to the making hair part. I left Nigeria in 2019 with my family and I was 16 at the time but before I left, o learnt how to make hair and now in university, I use it to make good money
Gosh I really learnt a lot from this episode! Cheers guys, and lady.
😂😂😂 when i was little i said i wanted to be a doctor but when i grew older i grew love for computers and all that which made me change to computer science but jamb gave me computer engineering
Now im serving my country but i think ill face my talent (cooking)after service and see where the engineering will take me to
My dad calls me ENGINEER DADDY YA
😂
give it up for our igbo fathers 🎉 👏
Demand and supply has its place but a whole lot of people sell bread but you get the one wey your dey buy
Why?
Because of scale strategic considerations and growth
It’s simple
I swear,,this is my best episode,,i learnt a lot
Very very enriching, the guest speaker ,very intelligent and knowledgeable, that's how it should be not inviting ppl who just wnt to show their face to the camera, zero knowledge to things that can enrich the viewers ❤
You guy's are just the best, l came to know about your podcast when l came to Bahrain 🇧🇭 🇧🇭 🇧🇭 and since then l haven't missed any; thanks for the enlightenment always!

Nedu please allow people complete their thoughts, please. I listen to this show and I know which voice comes up everytime. N pls don't shout over others to make your point
Quite an interesting podcast..I had a good time. Big ups
Remember even cakes. The cake makers were cashing out real bad. But also someone realized that the money is in teaching it than in foing it. Na so they start cake classes, now the competition is stiff. So many people making cakes and only profit 1k
Very educative podcast.
Just reminds me of my younger sister. My mother discovered she can bake and make hair and she has sent her to perfect it. Now we bake bread, cake and make hair. This is good
GREAT KNOWLEDGE SHARED MY PEOPLE.
GREETINGS MY BROS FROM GORA STREET, KADUNA STATE.
I have seen all the episodes from frankly speaking to honest bunch, lot of things to learn, but this is my best episode, I resonate well with the topic, not going to say my story but I really enjoyed this episode, thank you and Good bless you guys.
At 38:00... Ezinne made the most sensible statement!
Aswer, what she said hit me hard
I wrote JAMB twice chasing Chemical Engineering. Since I finished school and NYSC I haven’t worked as a Chemical Engineer 😅. Now, my MSc in UK is Computing and Technology.
Ezinne your hair is beautiful 🥰 welcome back oga Nedu and thanks to you all amazing..
Nedu stop cutting Ezinne off. It’s rude. You do it all the time
Nedu talk too much
he needs to be quiet more often
Haha😂😂😂 you never hala. That's what he does
Guys learn how nedu keep conversation
Very rude and he’s doing it consistently week in week out .
Multiple Skills is the key, not just multiple degrees...
Be Vast in One Niche...
Eziii, she was my secondary school mate. My next door neighbour - SS1-SS3....every Saturday things❤❤
Na Petchem them choose for me, Now a successful forex trader
Facts that most of our parents couldn't understand and see the world ahead, thats why they behaved that way. But kudos to us that our parents that gave us the benefit of doubt and it payed off
I agree with Zinne my anuty gisted me she learnt how make hair in her dream someone directs her how to do
It the next morning she’s plaiting exactly as Zinne said it
You guys should allow your guests to talk/contribute. You guys almost don't allow them talk, especially this man of enchanting physiognomy!😅😂
Allow your guests contribute Biko and not just sit down watching you.
Husband Material you really cracked me on this one ohhhh🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, God bless Mama for me jare. Reverend Father the dream of every catholic mother.

I always believe in the saying that when others are busy mining, start selling shovel. Was about saying it before I heard it from the Gamic guy
I started using computer 2000 and then whenever I visit cyber cafe my mum will say am playing gambling and beat the hell out of me but today, am earning my livings with computer and she is proud
What I studied in school was not what I really wanted but it was my choice after I missed out of science class
What I did was to find where computer work in the course and boom the rest was history
Wetim you dey do EASY is the word, but not pass other people . There will always be somebody bettwr than ypu . But what you do EASILY. Makes life easiest for you. We all have the incline but competition wont let us stay in one place .
Wellll Done Chef Ezinne👌👌👌!! I hope the Talent is not wasting now you should also venture into a Salon alongside your food business
❤❤❤❤ so much i keep leaning on this program everytime I watch it ..
What i studied in university is what i wanted though my parents told to study any course that i feel like and I studid Film and Television Production
Can we all also agree that we are all doing thesame thing? See the people creating IG pages for their children and doing adverts.
Thank you so much team, I learnt a lot from this podcast. God bless you all.
Chai this podcast really touch me, all the find x wey we study for math, in the real world all those things does not play in our day to day activities
Husband material,I remember that yellow fever wey dey Aiye side for Isolo. That man was really good at it.

This thing he said about computer science studying old programming language is true.
Like in my uni, we were learning assembly language. Like bruhh in 2022?! Assembly Language?!
Oga Nedu,I Love You For That Faithful Truth,,, We're Always Seeing The End Before The Begining"and its very wrong
