The point was whether or not a _candle_ - as physical object _and_ light source - can cast a shadow of itself. A google image search of this can be misleading as the answer _appears_ to be "no," since without a secondary light source to really push it onto a surface, a candle cannot produce a strong enough silhouette in a given direction to justify such a clean shadow.

Shoved in lockers, pushed down... stuff knocked out of our hands... all for liking "that weird chinese stuff" ...... .___." my childhood enjoyment of anime was robbed compared to what kids have now... We had to REALLY like it to put up with all that crap.
I have a degree in graphic design and had to take drawing and digital art classes in with that and they fully embraced that style of art because a lot of people were doing that lol

If I had to pick three items: A stuffed animal, specifically a small white lamb. It would represent my innocence as a child when I was younger and more carefree, without a thing to worry. A small sewing kit, with pins sticking into the lamb itself and a needle left alone next to the arm, which would represent my desperation in trying to find a way to sew my innocence back together again after growing up and experiencing trauma. Last one would be a pencil, because I love writing to vent and read what I want to that may not exist just yet. Of course, it would be leaning or sitting against the stuffed animal, but at the same time, it’s the only little positive thing I would put. What would you guys put??
Daisy - Represents my innocence in such things, my simplicity, and being playful. Bedroom - Signifiy a lot of things about my private life Spider - Represents my fear in social setting but truly show what I'm capable of when opportunity comes.

Her art makes me feel good about my own art. She is still learning and showing her mistakes which is good for us who are also no Picassos. The teacher was so sweet and encouraging to her I wish all teacher were like this.

I remember doing a similar assignment when I was in year 11 VCE studio arts. We had to pick items we associate and either draw, paint or sculpt an image centred around them and work in how you associate with them in the piece. I picked one of my skull decorations, a plushies and one of my sketchbooks. I did a watercolour piece which was of an open sketchbook with a skull and plushie draw on the page. I related it to both my political views and my spiritual views about life and death. I won't go into depth about them here but it was about death itself and how society views it but also how soft life can also be. I got the highest mark in the class and my teacher asked if political views and spiritual views were going to be a continuous theme in my artworks for the remainder of the year as well as the next year. It ended being so as my two final works for year 12 were political views on immortality and personal beliefs regarding protection tieing into my cultural background (Norse) and my spiritual views of dieties and ghosts ^^. Again, I got the highest marks out of the class. Wow I rambled XD

Most oil paints sold now aren’t toxic anymore, but definitely check beforehand. Personally, I think my cat is more important than a painting lmao
Winsor and Newton`s are pretty safe for pets (fumes wise) as long as they don't touch/ingest the paint they will be fine.

If I had to pick three items:
A stuffed animal, specifically a small white lamb. It would represent my innocence as a child when I was younger and more carefree, without a thing to worry.
A small sewing kit, with pins sticking into the lamb itself and a needle left alone next to the arm, which would represent my desperation in trying to find a way to sew my innocence back together again after growing up and experiencing trauma.
Last one would be a pencil, because I love writing to vent and read what I want to that may not exist just yet. Of course, it would be leaning or sitting against the stuffed animal, but at the same time, it’s the only little positive thing I would put.

Daisy - Represents my innocence in such things, my simplicity, and being playful.

I like how Rae has a sticker on her laptop that says “I can’t draw circles” 😂,overall that art piece Rae did is VERY realistic but VERY hard to do. And I bet Miss Wolfe is a good art teacher.

My art teacher has a similar grading system and sometimes I get surprised because whenever I feel I didn't do that good I get like an A+...then I start noticing why and stuff...(intro to art class) ._.

Ha! Your reaction to your grade was so cute. That is one young art teacher, she was pretty nice I would say. Curious what my super harsh painting professors would have said... i came out of my program feeling a little broken, so it’s nice to see an art teacher be encouraging yet give honest feedback. I thought the painting was nice👍 .

Me and my two friends are so triggered lol
I thought i was the only one who caught that lol
I remember doing a similar assignment when I was in year 11 VCE studio arts. We had to pick items we associate and either draw, paint or sculpt an image centred around them and work in how you associate with them in the piece. I picked one of my skull decorations, a plushies and one of my sketchbooks. I did a watercolour piece which was of an open sketchbook with a skull and plushie draw on the page. I related it to both my political views and my spiritual views about life and death. I won't go into depth about them here but it was about death itself and how society views it but also how soft life can also be. I got the highest mark in the class and my teacher asked if political views and spiritual views were going to be a continuous theme in my artworks for the remainder of the year as well as the next year. It ended being so as my two final works for year 12 were political views on immortality and personal beliefs regarding protection tieing into my cultural background (Norse) and my spiritual views of dieties and ghosts ^^. Again, I got the highest marks out of the class.
