After reading all these recent reviews, I should have posted my review a lot sooner...so I apologize to all of you, my fellow laundry sufferers. After owning and using it for more than 3 years, I can honestly say this Kenmore Series 600 HE washing machine is truly "the washer from hell". I cannot comment on the dryer since I don't have that. I am still using the old dryer. My darks have been screwed up since I first bought the darn thing! At first I thought it was my detergent, so I switched from powder to liquid. It didn't help. After every wash, I have to take a scrubbing brush and scrub off the terrible lint. So many streaks! It is so much work! Why do I still own and use it after 3 years? Because I am just trying to get my $600 money's worth out of it. When I move, it's not going with me. Not enough water in the machine! Yes, I tried manually adding more water, but I could see it just drain out. This thing was designed by a complete moron! After 3 years of use, I am an expert on this machine and I can tell you...It sucks! Do Not Buy!! ☹ Sears...Less than 1/2 a star.
I agree. It worked for a year, now it wont spin. White streaks are still there. Sometimes it won't turn on, other times it stops mid cycle. Very irritating.
Agree I have never had an appliance that sux more than this one. I cannot even get into the details because I’ve explained and yelled and cried for so many hours and days with sears it almost gives me an anxiety attack. Thank goodness we purchased the warranty or we would be in big trouble we redid our kitchen two years ago and three out of the five appliances are all down at the same time our dishwasher Kenmore washing machine Kenmore and dryer Kenmore we actually have to go purchase a dryer while we’re waiting for a replacement dryer to come in and now we have been out of a washing machine for eight weeks in a dishwasher for three months if anyone is reading this do not I repeat do not buy Kenmore appliances especially the washer and dryer
I just bought a home that has this washer. I completely agree with you! I had to wash my darks 3 times!! And there were streaks everywhere still. But also, there were spots on my clothes that never even got wet.
I have owned this Series 600 water efficient washer for a while, and I have found it to be horrible! It was a quick buy as my older Kenmore washer died and we were leaving for a month so had minimal time to buy. Thought I would help the environment by purchasing this "water efficient" one. My mistake. Initially, the Sears technicians installed the hot water to my cold intake and the cold to my hot. Once that was discovered, I expected the action of the washer to improve. It did not! I too feel it provides inadequate water to correctly wash your clothing. I consistently have streaks on my clothes when finished. There is only the two of us and my loads are generally small and I use the type of detergent recommended by the manufacturer. I have to unplug it before each washing cycle because it does not hold to the cycle timing and can continue to wash for 2-3 hours. This is going to the curb and I will never, ever purchase another! Even after contacting Sears little was done to solve any of these issues.
Had a 20 year Kenmore agitator washer (1996-2016) die after a move and purchased this 600 top load he washer. I was told by the Sears salesman don't expect anything out now to last anywhere near as long as I had my old one. Sad....I've had this new one for 5 years and absolutely hate it! I would take my old washer that actually cleaned my clothes back in a heartbeat! Nothing but trouble with this one!
Thanks for your video. But wanted to add my two cents. We purchased the 600 series W&D in 2016, so we've had it for almost 7 years now. About the last 2-3 years I had been noticing the lint streaks. So rather than read the manual which says to use the "Two Rinses" button, I started turning my clothes inside-out, so what didn't come off in the dryer was at least on the inside of the clothing item. Well, DH does his laundry separately (long story why, won't go into that) (well, no - one word: bleach - in almost every load) but rather than use my solution, he just lets loose with a string of expletives. Today I'm online trying to find out how to solve the issue. First thing I see says to "clean the lint trap". Duh - why didn't I think of that before??? Well, possibly because this model doesn't have a lint trap - hence seeing the advice from Sears/Whirlpool (apparently the "110" on the model # indicates made by WP) to use the two rinse button. Yay - get to use more water. I'm thinking it's time to find a new washer.
I had my set since 2018 and they were used I bought it from an old couple for $600 dollars and could not love them more, they work perfectly and just a minute ago I was looking for help on how to clean my washer just because and I thought if we will find something as good as this ones in the future
I have this set and I've had it since 2017. Never had any issues but I mostly run everything on the highest water setting so that alleviates the water issue a lot of the comments seem to be complaining about. I also don't use fabric softener so I don't have streak or film issues. But, about 2 months ago my washer became noisy. I think it's off balance and needs new rods. (I let an in law do laundry and I think they stuck too many blankets at once) I don't know how to find the OEM so I can make sure I order compatible parts. That's my biggest issue.
I owned this model and loved it. It was a little loud but I had it out in the shed so it didn't matter. Ive since sold it and bought the 6.2 model which is awesome. Capacity is unreal, and wash action is terrific. No complaints at all. It's much quieter. I would highly recommend. Thank you.
i have had my set for 3 years now, i do like them, but yes their has been strikes on dark cloths, the double rinse is good and also the extra water cycles
I have this washer and it’s been ok, not my favorite, until it started leaking and the repair man said it was done for. Well it still washed ok so I’ve been using it even with the little leak until it completely stopped today. Going to get a new one but I’m trying to figure out the capacity of this one. Does anyone know the Cubic Feet of this one? When I measured and did the formula it came out to 4.2 but I don’t know if my measurements are accurate?
I have the Kemore 6005. I have had a water efficient washer prior to this machine. I am concerned about the water level. I put it on deep fill and still the water level is inadequate. In your review you stated that your research said there were issues with streaks being on clothes when finished. I can understand this happening with the lack of water. THIS MACHINE HAS. A LOW LOW WATER LEVEL. I AM DISSATISFIED WITH THE PERFIRMANCE. If possibly THE LEVEL OF WAYER COULD BE ADJUSTED IT MAY WELL BE A GREAT WASHER. IF NOT MY ADVICE WOULD BE SKIP BY YHIS WASHER.
+Have a nice Dave yes my wife is having the same issue. My clothes are all dark and I've never had it happen but she has it happen regularly on jean etc. I wash all my clothes in cold water with one Tide pod. She said it's a bit better with the double rinse feature but I'm not sure what she is doing different than me. I will talk about this when I do the next update.
you can adjust it to full by using the bulky/bedding cycle and pressing the deep fill button (must do both-- deep fill doesn't make it full on other cycles.. my clothes come out cleaner this way and there is less wear and tear on them. i still want my old washer back though.
@@narcsinart7179 First thank you, I had the same problem long time ago & just did what you said and it works ..but what if I have a medium load I guess it doesn't make sense to set it on that cycle because it takes long time to wash!
@@littlemonster7443, it is a hassle, but when in a hurry, I interrupt the cycle before it is full, (because it is agitating as it fills up) power off, then start the rinse spin cycle.
What I don't understand about a lot of buyers of these machines is how many of you are not aware these are low water washers. Did any of you know what you were buying ? I notice the same comments with these machines. I had one of these several years ago and other than the unreliable electronics it cleaned quite well. My white socks were never cleaner. I had the Maytag Bravos belt driven HE . If they made several improvements in the area of the bulky cycle with stronger wash action and being able to use hot water on ANY cycle with a heater to boot, then I would consider one of these again.
I apologize to those waiting for an update to this video. It has been filmed, however, since RUclips decided to arbitrarily de-monetize small channels like mine in February 2018 I have no plans to add anymore videos for RUclips to profit off of while paying creators nothing. Thank you for watching and being a subscriber, I’m hopeful RUclips will come to their senses and reverse this policy so I can start uploading again.
My washer has a smell to it and I don’t know where to look to clean it other than using the clean cycle. Other videos show a small panel in front of machine to clean a filter but mine is exactly like yours, can you advise?
I’ve Purchased a house and cannot get the washer that was here to put enough water to wash properly once it goes into the wash mode, I have to add more water otherwise the clothes is still dry on top. It’s a Kenmore series 600 but I cannot find the serial number… it doesn’t look like the model … above it is probably older Where can I find the serial number so that I can order a new water sensor part? I see a lot of people complaining about the fact that there is not enough water coming into the machine. So I’m worried that if I replace the part it is not fixing the problem. Any idea what to do with this problem?
Mine won't fill I've searched video on how to diagnose the problem on this particular unit but nothing to be found I did a volt test on the inlet valves and cleaned them but no luck plus I had to rig up an extension cord cause it would always through codes and unplugging it once in while would get it back in line. It's a nice looking unit and hatevto just throw it away.
We have not been happy with ours. I don't think it uses enough water. For instance, when I get a load washed several items I don't put in the dryer, I will see the streaks or even dry spots. I have stopped the machine and looked at the level of water when it is washing and have seen clothes on top that have not been in the water yet when the cycle is almost done. I have started doing a light wash without soap and then put them through the wash I want them to go through. It defeats the purpose of a high efficiency machine. I will try the second rinse and see how that works, though.
After switching out some hoses, the power button does not work. Then I unplugged it, then pressed power and then the pause button for 5 sec each - and plugged it back on - but the power button still did not light up/turn on. I can run the onboard diagnostics, so I know that the electricity and buttons do work, (and light up) - I just cannot figure out or find out how to reboot, so that my power/on button will work again. Have called and emailed customer service, still waiting for answer. Does anyone know this? It has to be a simple thing, I just don't know the magic series of times/buttons to push other than what I've already done. Series 600, looks exactly like the one in this video.
I just did a load of towels in my new kennmore 600 series washer and dryer. They are absolutely quiet. My towels we're all wet and smelled clean. I'm not sure why it has bad reviews with people saying it doesn't clean their clothes or that the washer is loud.. how have you liked yours??
Hi, can someone please show me how to use it? I just got it but the previous owner doesn't have the user manual :( I would appreciate some help ... thanks
I bought a Kenmore 600 washer from Habitat, hooked it up, everything lights up but it will not DO anything..... lid locks, but NO water goes in..... it makes a computer like sound when the power is turned on, but then NOTHING..... can anyone tell me what the problem is?
It’s crazy I have this model and you cannot find the board new online at all. DRN has popped up and drain and recirculating pump both are within specs on ohms and according to service manual it’s the board. If you ever take this apart you’ll be surprised on how not good this is ! I use to love Jen more.
This washer operates like we’re on Dune and need to drink our own sweat. It’s ridiculous and cannot do it’s job. I ran the washer 3x and my clothes still had visible grime, then I simply dipped them in a sink of water and the grime fell away and the sink water was dirty.
Lol. Good analogy. Have you ever put it on rinse and spin cycle to see if water is coming out during that cycle. It sounds like it's like mine and only put water during initial fill, then agitates then spins only then finishes. No clean water to rinse the dirty water out. Disgusting.
almost a year now with the washer/dryer...do you still like them? also, what have you found to be the best washer setting for towels? thank you for the post
How did you do that? I’m not sure if my washer is working correctly do it have a sensor in it like it seems like it don’t fill up with water when I have clothes in there with water doesn’t get full
@@chocolategirl8885 so open up the top panel and if you look down on the right side, you'll see a little hose....I took the hose off and blew inside it and it worked after that....sometimes stuff gets in there.
hi I have a question I have the same washing machine but it stop making sound " like when u turn it on ect " how do I get it to make sound again. Thanks
There is a video online on how to reset chime. I just had to do it after I had wiped my washer down and must of hit the chime button which went to silent.
I've always considered the Kenmore the gold standard. I had a series 80 large capacity washer and dryer for many years... until it was lost in a fire... and it was the best ever. The controls were mechanical and allowed the user to select water levels, wash times, dry times, temperatures and more. The new series 600 machines are the worst machines I've ever used. All the cycles are controlled by the machine. There is no way to put adequate water in the tub. The clothes come out covered with crud and huge amounts of lint. The "deep fill" feature barely covers the fabrics. Clothing looks battered and worn when the cycle is complete...like it's been beaten on a rock. We are moving soon and will replace these machines. I will not buy Kenmore the next time.
I own the same but in the 600s series clear top. I also got it from Sears and I have no issues. As far as the criticism that people have on this is mainly because they are over loading the capacity or using too much detergent needed. I wear black uniforms clothing for work and have no issues. I admit I did make that mistake once when we first purchased ours the year it came out. I love my washer and dryer set. Being a mom of 4 boys, there’s always laundering.
@M Hurst Same here. This machine has ruined brand new pants i have purchased and washed for the first time. Wtf does anyone know what the problem is, why the clothes come out with gunk on em.
I waited 5 years for a new washer and dryer! I could just cry...I hate them!! i have the exact one like in your viedo. not enough water! dark cloths come out with strikes and fuzzes on them . So unhappy, and im still paying on them!!!!
I work for Sears and I don't have problems with these machines, but I personally own a Samsung and record my washer washing. Do you have any videos on yours washing? :)
+Frank Borrego Hi Frank, no Im sorry I don't. The lid in this model locks so I couldn't get any video of it working. I believe the next model up from this has a glass door, probably for that reason. Have you had any issues with your Samsung? I've heard good thing about the front loaders but they were just a bit out of our budget.
Ryan Wayne I believe you can catch the arm when you activate the wash cycle and just hold so it thinks it's locked. As for my washer, I personally am really content with it. I work for Sears and sell what I'm familiar with or have heard positive reviews. But, I like my washing machine. Watch it wash, I think it's a great unit. But, I don't use any pods whatsoever. I never have or will.
I bought a Kenmore 600 washer from Habitat, hooked it up, everything lights up but it will not DO anything..... lid locks, but NO water goes in..... it makes a computer like sound when the power is turned on, but then NOTHING..... can anyone tell me what the problem is?
Has anyone figured out how to remove the agitator? Bolt is too tight even for 2 people trying to remove it. A piece of garment went under the agitator where the water drains and I'm trying to remove it. I should have returned this washer when I had the chance. PLEASE HELP!!
Yes you have to sit on side of washer with feet inside to hold the agitator while turning screw…I saw a man do this on another video and my son tried it and it worked, he was able to break the screw loose…I had also sprayed WD 40 on it overnight…good luck…
DO YOU HAVE THE DRYER AT HOME OR APARTMENT? I AM THINKING TO BUY A DRYER, BUT I LIVE IN THE APARTMENT AND I DO NOT KNOW IF THE DRYER DRIES WELL BECAUSE IT IS 220 VOLTS
Hello All, My neighbor has this washer and the other day she was in a rush and decided she wanted to stop the wash with about 5 min. left. Unfortunately, I have no idea what she did but the machine will not restart, nor will it cancel the wash and unlock the lid to remove the clothes. I tried powering off, unplugging fro 10 min., pressing different keys while powering on, to maybe reset it, but nothing. I know it has to be something really stupid simple but I can't find anything on-line. If anyone might have the answer to this mystery, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
This washer is garbage. I HATE it. There are times my clothes actually come out of the wash dirtier than when I put them in. My dark clothes almost always have a nasty residue on them that takes multiple washes to get off. Stains never come out without pretreating and multiple washes. Every load has clothes that are partially dry, not washed in the slightest. So disapointed.
I just bought a kenmore elite washing machine when i start i put my clothes and choose normal i notice they cycle first before thw water run is that normal
I bought a Kenmore 600 washer from Habitat, hooked it up, everything lights up but it will not DO anything..... lid locks, but NO water goes in..... it makes a computer like sound when the power is turned on, but then NOTHING..... can anyone tell me what the problem is?
Hello I have the Kenmore elite series 600 as per the video. The softener is not dispensing. I just bought the washer. I rinsed out the tray detergent/softener. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Or any tips?
@@sarahcortez7154 you should take the whole tray out and check the hall of the fabric softer go through sometime the hall get clogged and u just have to rinse it well and go through the hall with skewer , the fabric softner is thick and it can clogged the hall quickly
I think a lot of people don't realize that if you are wrestling hogs in a mud bog daily you need to get a workhorse washer with a huge agitator for cheap that you are going to kill in 5 years or so. This type of washer is for clothes you are wearing daily that you are not rolling in mud, pooring cement, laying asphalt, etc. If you are not satisfied with how it cleans it is because you clearly did not do your research in the type of washer your household needs. Yes there are different types of washers and one size does not fit all.
I agree with you completely. My husband and I work in marine construction so the laundry you describe gets done in a cheap machine in our garage. We purchased this set because there are five of us (four of us girls) and three dogs so we have a ton of laundry. This set plus out dishwasher are terrible. We’ve had them all fail twice and the dishwasher flooded our brand new kitchen. The dryer tore our close up and a lot more we are still waiting on a replacement that was ordered June 11th…. The washing machine is the worst appliance we’ve ever owned the locking mechanism has gone out 3 times, the stable arm on left front out twice the second time caused the drum to spill water everywhere and ate up the rubber on top. I was so excited to get these beautiful machines and what a disappointment
i have the same washer but i get white streaks all over! i tried everything possible plus i had a tech coming 4 times but he said theres nothing to do i just need to get a drier! sears refuses to help with the white streaks problem. any suggestions what can i do?? i tried many kinds of detergents
I have that same problem... how can I get rid of those white marks ? Try without soap and still have white marks on my darker clothes. What you do to add water ? Just add water before putting clothes in the washer ? Thanks !
+wyomingsamurai so far so good! Othman than the issue listed in one of the earlier comments about the white marks. I haven't had it happen on any of my clothes but my wife has on some of her dark coloured sweaters. Seems to be fine if you use the "two rinse" feature. Thanks for watching.
Had ours 4 years and it’s acting up, doesn’t run a full cycle, will not fully drain, or it says 22 min left then jumps back to 30 min etc. It drains it doesn’t drain, it spins it doesn’t spin, it runs a cycle it doesn’t run a cycle....We keep having to unplug and try again. After a few attempts it works for a week but then acts up again and back to square one.... we’ve cleaned the machine and even had an electrician change our outlet, and the line is always checked for plugs but we keep running into this problem......Not impressed
This is a horrible washer and I unfortunately purchased it from Sears who give a very small window of time to return . By the time I used to washer enough to figure out how bad it is , it was too late. I’m still paying this off and probably going to sell it and get something else. I am cloth diapering a baby currently and this machine is THE WORST for that, as well as just regular old laundry . What everyone says is true! Not nearly enough water, takes forever , leaves film on things, have to re-wash multiple times for BASIC spills and soils, let alone cloth diapers . Anyone have a suggestion on a GOOD WASHING MACHINE, I welcome suggestions!
Boudoir Adrienne ok does it give a lot of water ? Will it will up to the top? I understand these new “high efficiency” washers barely use enough water to wash clothes. I love the old school washer Kenmore washers where you could adjust your own water level.
Mr. Piano no, it’s nothing like an older machine. Most of the new machines are made to use much less water. It doesn’t fill anywhere close to the top and has a sensor to gauge what amount it needs, you can’t make that adjustment on your own. This one is bad on all levels. Don’t get it.
I just bought the 500 series and it's just like this one. Brought it home today and I'm on my third load and I'm not liking it. The clothes seem to be in the same exact spot from when I put it in (mine has the whole agitator too) I regret selling my old ones. :( Damn taxes 😒 sales person talked us into the "great" deal and now we are most likely taking them back
I have the Kenmore 300 series My uncle just showed up with it one day He’s been fighting with it, subsequently You’re lucky when it wrings out your clothes
Absolute junk. Do not buy this washing machine. I have the exact one in the video and I can tell you that it is loud (sounds like its straining), doesn't clean clothes much less get the soap out very well, it sometimes leaves water in the tub making clothes impossible to dry unless you run them again, the design is horrible... I could go on and on. There is not one thing I like about this machine other than it still works after a year,. The problem is that all of these machines are made by the same people in CHINA. The quality of everything seems to be in decline, especially appliances,.
I volunteer at a dog rescue and a very nice person just bought us this washer and matching dryer for all the large loads we do. The first day I put in two comforters and it kept giving me the lf code which says not enough water. I tried several things and nothing worked. The next thing I tried is normal was with one comforter and it goes through the whole cycle and when I open it the comforter is still dirty. Wet but dirty. I have tried all of the suggestions on trouble shooting but nothing is working.
+rebecca desjardins yes I think it doesn’t use enough water. I know in ours the smaller the load the better, if we do a large load we use a very small amount of soap. Sometimes dark clothes come out with white streaks on them and we have never been able to figure out what it is. I thinks it soap, but as soon as I run the clothes through the dryer it’s gone.
This washer was the biggest piece of shit I have ever heard of. Does not wash or fill much at all clothes do not come clean. Sometimes the washer wouldn't even get half of the clothes clean. Tried smaller loads different settings nothing helped. 800 wasted
I purchased a series 700 Kenmore washer and I describe it like this, " What a piece of junk " it cost me over $700 and it is just garbage. If you want a good washing machine, just do not buy this high efficiency bs.
This is the worse washer EVER. Everything everyone has said that is" wrong with it" is TRUE, and then some. Not up to Kennmore or any other brands standards. Sad there is no way to fix the issues and it is in no way energy efficient!
Purchased in 2019 this is a terrible washer, the darks get fiber white lines all over them so I've had to make sure I do a double rinse and still sometimes they still are there. The machine turned on by itself one time. Now the machine keeps giving me an LF code which means to long to fill. The water lines are working fine, no clogs and it was working once in awhile but now I not at all. Don't buy!
Mine does the same thing. Sometimes you have to do it a couple of times. It’s supposed to work within a second or two of keeping your finger on the button.

This is by far THE WORST washer I have ever owned
Agreed
This statement above is facts
I have this washer and it’s been ok, not my favorite, until it started leaking and the repair man said it was done for. Well it still washed ok so I’ve been using it even with the little leak until it completely stopped today. Going to get a new one but I’m trying to figure out the capacity of this one. Does anyone know the Cubic Feet of this one? When I measured and did the formula it came out to 4.2 but I don’t know if my measurements are accurate?
You showed the black shirt after drying it, but what if you want to hang it dry? How bad were the streaks when it was still wet?
I will talk about this when I do the next update.
ruclips.net/video/X5hD_iuwn9o/видео.html
you can adjust it to full by using the bulky/bedding cycle and pressing the deep fill button (must do both-- deep fill doesn't make it full on other cycles.. my clothes come out cleaner this way and there is less wear and tear on them. i still want my old washer back though.
@@narcsinart7179
First thank you, I had the same problem long time ago & just did what you said and it works ..but what if I have a medium load I guess it doesn't make sense to set it on that cycle because it takes long time to wash!
@@littlemonster7443, it is a hassle, but when in a hurry, I interrupt the cycle before it is full, (because it is agitating as it fills up) power off, then start the rinse spin cycle.
Have this exact model and dryer also. I've had it for 3 years now...and they both have worked perfectly.
I use deep fill no streaks at all works very well
Same here.
The spinning is mento can't get it to stop shaking ?
My washer has a smell to it and I don’t know where to look to clean it other than using the clean cycle. Other videos show a small panel in front of machine to clean a filter but mine is exactly like yours, can you advise?
I’ve Purchased a house and cannot get the washer that was here to put enough water to wash properly once it goes into the wash mode, I have to add more water otherwise the clothes is still dry on top. It’s a Kenmore series 600 but I cannot find the serial number… it doesn’t look like the model … above it is probably older
Where can I find the serial number so that I can order a new water sensor part? I see a lot of people complaining about the fact that there is not enough water coming into the machine. So I’m worried that if I replace the part it is not fixing the problem. Any idea what to do with this problem?
How are you? How do you change the load size on the washer? Or is it automatic?
Ours stopped working we have same one as u do it said lid lock and won't come on now like to get it fixed
I also have had white streaks on my clothes.
Use the bulky bedding cycle , this gives you plenty of water.
Disgusting.
So any updates on this washer?
Have you had the problem with the washer not filling up. No mater what I do, what sycle I put the washer on, it doesn't fill
Yes I think that is a common issue. I use the double fill option button I’m not sure how much more water its actually putting in.
@@Packinheat1175 try the bulky/bedding it work for me
U can’t remove the whole top lock switch and the wire and plug under the control panel. That’s what I bought for the assembly.
I have never ever had any problems with Kenmore and Sears, for the small problems I have had they send someone out to take care of it right away.
Hello, I have the Kenmore 600 series washer ... Question , is there a way to cut the wash time ? besides setting it on express cycle ?
Do you know when you are going to post another video since it's a long term review
almost a year now with the washer/dryer...do you still like them? also, what have you found to be the best washer setting for towels? thank you for the post
Yeah we were just gifted this...we aren't getting rid of our old 30 year old Whirlpools just yet...yikes!
I bought this set in 2015 and they still run great. Only problem I had with the washer was that I had to blow out the water level sensor hose.
Thanks
Chiquita_ Xo press and hold the cycle signal until you hear a little chime
make sure the cycle single is on
There is a video online on how to reset chime.
I will not buy Kenmore the next time.
i have that same washer & dryer I loves it so much
+dwinder123 We have been happy with it so far also. Thanks for watching!
you welcome
Hey can I ask you a question ? because I need to buy a Washer ASAP. I was looking at the Kenmore 20372. Is that the Model you have ?
Does the dryer always start right away for you? Mine (brand new) takes several times and is so annoying. -THANKS
I have this washer and it quits randomly... says it will take 1:15 for the cycle and after 30 minutes it turns off
I own the same but in the 600s series clear top.
I own the 600s no issues. Purchase HE liquid please. Should have 0 issues mom of 3 always washing
Thank you. I just purchased this washing machine.
What does fs mean on function, washer just stopped,?lid latch, turned off, rested, plugged backing no help
Same problem
Having the same pairs for almost 8 years.
Has anyone figured out how to remove the agitator? Bolt is too tight even for 2 people trying to remove it. A piece of garment went under the agitator where the water drains and I'm trying to remove it. I should have returned this washer when I had the chance. PLEASE HELP!!
I can't get mine apart either. I would LOVE to see if there is a filter in there? I hate this machine.
Yes you have to sit on side of washer with feet inside to hold the agitator while turning screw…I saw a man do this on another video and my son tried it and it worked, he was able to break the screw loose…I had also sprayed WD 40 on it overnight…good luck…
Anybody have to "hold to start" the dryer like 8 times before the thing actually starts? So frustrating. I have the same steam dryer.
@M Hurst Yes, I hate it!!!!
DO YOU HAVE THE DRYER AT HOME OR APARTMENT? I AM THINKING TO BUY A DRYER, BUT I LIVE IN THE APARTMENT AND I DO NOT KNOW IF THE DRYER DRIES WELL BECAUSE IT IS 220 VOLTS
+Furia_De_Barrio I have it in a house. So far it has worked very well. I believe it comes in natural gas or 220 volts. Ours is 220.
Thank you.
Dave Wygonowski I’m having that same problem did you figure it out??
Mine does not put out water during rinse cycle. The clothes come out dirty.
Does the express wash takes like hours
36 minutes for me
Why does the washer refill with water after the wash
How about get rid of that shit and go back to the older washers that will clean
How to replace the drain pump In this model
I'm trying to find out how to change the water inlet filter on this machine, without luck finding instructions or a manual so far.
Cannot find a filter. LOOKED everywhere. WTAF?
How on the Kenmore series 600 se model may one make a load spin only?
This washer is garbage. I HATE it. There are times my clothes actually come out of the wash dirtier than when I put them in. My dark clothes almost always have a nasty residue on them that takes multiple washes to get off. Stains never come out without pretreating and multiple washes. Every load has clothes that are partially dry, not washed in the slightest. So disapointed.
Cheri Miracle you are so right
Same here. Is there a way to fix that? Wth can it be.
I just bought a kenmore elite washing machine when i start i put my clothes and choose normal i notice they cycle first before thw water run is that normal
Yes I believe it is just arranging the clothes before the water starts
Yeah mine dose that to,JUNK
Well even though you don't want to upload a video at least tell us if you like the washer or not
MY KENMORE 600 SERIES WASHER MAKES NOISE WHEN POWER BUTTON IS OFF LIKE IT STILL GETTING POWER WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?
I bought a Kenmore 600 washer from Habitat, hooked it up, everything lights up but it will not DO anything..... lid locks, but NO water goes in..... it makes a computer like sound when the power is turned on, but then NOTHING..... can anyone tell me what the problem is?
Hello I have the Kenmore elite series 600 as per the video. The softener is not dispensing. I just bought the washer. I rinsed out the tray detergent/softener. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Or any tips?
Yes. The fabric softener tray is always full when I check my mom's.
@@sarahcortez7154 you should take the whole tray out and check the hall of the fabric softer go through sometime the hall get clogged and u just have to rinse it well and go through the hall with skewer , the fabric softner is thick and it can clogged the hall quickly
I'm gonna get this one soon how do you like it??
+Jonathan Lastrapes Hi Jonathan! We've been really happy with them so far. I've done about 6 loads of laundry which have come out perfect.
Do anything but buy this washer it won’t clean your clothes
This is the worst washing machine I have ever used.
Ours just died of drain pump failure after 4+ years of ownership. For what we paid I thought it would have lasted longer.
I own one ,I do have a problem not completing washing it pop up LF
Ortal Rebecca S same here I'm currents trying to add more water myself. I hate this washer.
I have the same problem with dark colors. I use white vinager and my clothes came whit out white spots
+Karen Leon very interesting idea! Thank you for sharing that. I have had the same issue, but not very often.
We add additional water as well and it has helped!!
I have that same problem... how can I get rid of those white marks ? Try without soap and still have white marks on my darker clothes. What you do to add water ? Just add water before putting clothes in the washer ? Thanks !
How is the washer now after 2 months?
+wyomingsamurai so far so good! Othman than the issue listed in one of the earlier comments about the white marks. I haven't had it happen on any of my clothes but my wife has on some of her dark coloured sweaters. Seems to be fine if you use the "two rinse" feature. Thanks for watching.
Thank you!
How do I add more water ?
Had ours 4 years and it’s acting up, doesn’t run a full cycle, will not fully drain, or it says 22 min left then jumps back to 30 min etc. It drains it doesn’t drain, it spins it doesn’t spin, it runs a cycle it doesn’t run a cycle....We keep having to unplug and try again. After a few attempts it works for a week but then acts up again and back to square one.... we’ve cleaned the machine and even had an electrician change our outlet, and the line is always checked for plugs but we keep running into this problem......Not impressed
Can you make a new update video? I believe it has been 6 months since this video has been uploaded.
Yes working on it right now. RUclips decided to de-monetize my channel for a while as part of their "new policies" so I'm a bit behind. My apologies.
My washer doesn't chime anymore and I'm having a hard time finding out why! Can anybody she'd any light on this for me please? 😟
Violet Skye press and hold the cycle signal button until you hear a little chime
Hey is that the Kenmore 20372 you are referring to ?
Mr. Piano no , for a model number mine says 110.2613*410, or , 110.2713*410
This is what it says on my owners manual
:( Damn taxes 😒 sales person talked us into the "great" deal and now we are most likely taking them back
Mine is broken after 5 years and its $500 to fix and the part is on back order. Do not recommend.
I have the Kenmore 300 series
My uncle just showed up with it one day
He’s been fighting with it, subsequently
You’re lucky when it wrings out your clothes
These are obviously the Maytag barvos xl and whirlpool cabrio with kenmore branding
I think I’m going to by the older machine.
The dryer takes forever to dry ... ...Like 2 hrs... anyone know why?
Likely your exhaust vent is clogged either in the flexible hose or the duct inside the wall.
How do u reset
Mines is 2 years old and the junk has broken 2 times and now recently it come on but doesn’t change cycle it beeps but don’t let me change cycle ugh
YESS CANADAAA 🇨🇦
what does f4 and e1 mean
they take forever to wash, over an hour, how do I reduce the time ?
Don’t pay attention to it
Mine clicks
and makes irritating noises
for what seems like an eternity
I hate this washer. Soap doesn't rinse out unless you do DEEP FILL and DOUBLE RINSE with liquid detergent
Next time fix the old washers
When the code F3 keeps popping up!and washer doesn’t work
Yeah, My Kenmore 600 the water level is bad not enough, but when use the Bulky/Beddin then i get to much water, can't win JUNK
👍🏼
Don't buy!
No enough water in the deep fill the water seem to be way to low
More like KENLESS. One more junk less out of my house.
It beest you wash by hand and soaked. Better and cleaner.
We made a big mistake in buying this machine. Not even 2 years old and the machine wasn't cleaning clothes.
Definitely the worst washer i have ever used. By far.
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU START THE WASHER. IT SAYS HOLD, BUT FUCK HOW LONG
Mine does the same thing. Sometimes you have to do it a couple of times. It’s supposed to work within a second or two of keeping your finger on the button.
terrible washer hate it soooo much. wish i had read this comments and reviews before i bought it a year ago
