Totally agree we had our first he washer when I was a teen and it didn't even get all the clothes wet we either had to put so few clothes in or we finally figured out that if we held the water level button all the way to the end it would allow you to self fill the water to the top but you had to hold it 🤦

As a Brit, we have had a low water (front loading) machines for over 20 years now. Our "normal" cycles can take up to 3 hours (sometimes more) depending on the temperature and load size. Older front loaders that used far more water usually completed a cycle in around an hour. The simple fact is that low water means you have to have longer cycle times to compensate, and I don't see how such a machine as shown here could sufficiently clean (or rinse) in around 50 minutes.

HE Top loaders are a waste of money. Half the clothes does'nt clean at all. It gets some water and the detergant at the start of the wash cycle. Most of your clothes remains above what little water the machine adds. Best to purchase a front loader if HE is what your looking for. Better chance all your clothes will get washed. I say this from personal experience having used both types of machines. If you have a top loader a work around would be to load your clothes and add water to them. This will increase the weight and trick your HE machine into beleiving there is more clothes and will add more water. Other than that there is no fix to this issue.
