Sounds like good news to me. I'm glad they're thinking about the post-game content instead of treating it like an afterthought like some other RPGs. Been enjoying these update videos, your presentation is very chill but informative.
Thank you for the kind words as always my friend. It's my goal to provide informative, fun content that educates those who want info about the game, while introducing it to those who may know nothing about it. I think I've done a decent job of that, if nothing else. 😁
At the very least I'd love to see some remakes/remasters/rereleases of March of the Black Queen and Knight of Lodis, to fill out the gaming consciousness of this series. If this does well, I could see that happening, or indeed getting more Ogre Battle games in general. Only time will tell but I have high hopes.
Been following this game for awhile, cant wait to play it. FF tactics it one onf my fav games so this will feel right at home for me. Your videos are great keep it up man.
I just hope obtaining optional recipes and spells easier. Just to get one recipe you had to: -First make a specific enemy spawn on a specific map by confirming their alignment, Equipment, and position. -these enemies didn't always spawn, so you'd have to reset if you didn't see the exact enemy -the recipe doesn't have a 100% drop rate so you were forced to use the wheel system to rewind. This means people going for title that forbids you from using the rewind system have to put off getting all or going through the process again. I'm not asking for much, just make it so players naturally get recipes when doing side content. It was Impossible for someone to 100% the game in a blind playthrough.
it's hilarious why people care about "titles". if there's a title where you win without "moving your characters", would you get it ? just a stupid title.
Several of the dev team behind this strategic RPG (of the original, the PSP remake, and this remaster) have worked on great games like Final Fantasy Tactics, FF XII, FFXIV and even on the upcoming FFXVI so quality is asured!
I would love to see an iron-man mode for the truly hardcore experience. I haven't heard anything about such a mode existing, and would be surprised if it did, but thanks to the PC release we could very well see a mod that does just that. So there's hope!
Without getting into major spoiler territory, there's a series of story based battles that allow you to learn more about some of your party members. There's some "what if scenarios" where you play out events if they happened differently than they canonically do. There are some very satisfying boss battles and challenge fights, and quests to unlock some VERY powerful character classes. That's just what existed in the PSP release, and it's been confirmed that all the content from that release is present here. If there's new content, I haven't heard anything, but it's possible.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned that skills are no longer bought, but gained through class progression. I really don’t like this change, as it puts it back into the FFT realm. This is one of my pet peeves with FFT, and what I was really excited for in Reborn. Hopefully changing classes does not set a character back to level 1. I never played any previous TO, but am still looking forward to this.
This is something that I discussed in my previous video FYI. But I get why you wouldn't like the change. I'm way of it myself, but we'll have to see how it plays out.
I would assume so, yes. Until I'm able to get my hands on the game it's hard for me to say for sure, but the way Square worded things it SOUNDS like all limits are off when using the World system.
As far as replaying dungeons, yes. There's no limit to how many times you can enter. In terms of item drops, I don't know at this time how repeated rubs may change the loot you find, unfortunately.
Unfortunately if you world travel to a previous time in the game, you can keep your level advantage only at missions you have competed...but at those you missed...it force level scale down your throat :/
This was a video that came out before the game launched, as I was covering the news about its new features. So I used some old footage from the previous version.

This really does sound like it will be the definitive version of the game. Here's hoping it leads to more Ogre games in the future!

In right there with ya, FFT is my favorite game of all time and TO hits a LOT of the same notes. You'll love it. And thank you for the kind words! 😁
7:45 They show you in the screenshot that Relic Upgrade is done at a shop. Hopefully not only at Palace.
High quality informative video. Thanks and keep them coming!
I'm doing my best, glad you found it informative!
I already made the pre-order, I'm very hyped for this game!!

Cant agree more, i almost finish the main story and still using low level weapon compared to the enemies ...

You can also recruit enemies in Story Battles, not just Dungeon Battles.
Correct, I have since learned this.
Hey titanium, can you post a link to find all of those articles with the feature explanations so I can read it at my leisure?
I can see what I can dig up. A lot of them were only posted in Japanese and then fan or machine translated, or re-posted by news sites, just fyi.
@@TitaniumLegman cool thanks

Hoping to play this one for a long time, is the post game on a par with Disgaea 5 where you had the carnage dimension?
I have very little experience with the Disgaea franchise, so I unfortunately don't have a good answer for you.
@@TitaniumLegman yeah no worries, it looks like there is something similar with the 100 level dungeon you can play postgame
@@augursabound yeah, the Palace of The Dead is QUITE extensive, so that may well satisfy what you're looking for.
I want to disable chariot tarot, and be able to disable all save scumming.

So aside those few said dungeons, what else is there for the post game or endgame?

Level is no longer tied to class. Each unit has their own level that's why.
This is something that I discussed in my previous video FYI. But I get why you wouldn't like the change. I'm way of it myself, but we'll have to see how it plays out.
What about the items? If you come back after you finished the game will you be able to use them since there is no cap now?
I would assume so, yes. Until I'm able to get my hands on the game it's hard for me to say for sure, but the way Square worded things it SOUNDS like all limits are off when using the World system.
So am i able wo play stages of the Palace of the dead as many times as i want if i want to grind some items like Heavens Forks ?

Why is your game looks like the older version and not the Reborn version?

@@TitaniumLegman Makes sense
I hate the new graphics :( I canceled my preorder because of it.
