But to be fair, one never hears widespread reports of persons, including visitors to the island, getting ill from consuming street food in Jamaica,.If this were so, knowing how quick persons are to publicize certain situations, this would be all over social media etc. Despite this, the street vending food operations need to be closely monitored by the Local and Health Authorities to ensure that food safety standards are being observed. The Crab Circle incident should be a lesson well learned.
