Living in the US, I've always known about right hand drive cars in the UK, but never thought about how the gear shift has to be on the left. That throws me off more than driving on the opposite side of the car. I appreciate the demo btw.
Haha same here. I live in the Netherlands but I cant drive a car in a game when the wheel is on the right. Also its really annoying with for example Forza Horizon 3 and 4. FH 3 is in Australia, and then 4 is in England. But in those two games everyone drives on the left side of the road which is pretty annoying to get used to in my opinion.

I wish you would have showed the software side of the setup... I plugged mine in and tried it, of course it didn't work like yours. I went into Asetto Corsa setup and had to enable the "H shifter", did that, still doesn't work.. Must be nice that yours magically worked right out of the box, i will continue on to other videos to try to find the problem.
Each position on the shifter corresponds to a different gear. Top ones are odd, bottom ones are even. You have to go sequentially so you can't go from 1 to 3 or 2 to 5.
Is that the IKEA micke hutch desk? because it just so happens that I just ordered that desk and a shifter... can I bolt the wheel directly to the drawer?
The height of the clamp is 5cm on the shifter but what is the depth of the clamps as iv got un even ridges on my table not sure it it will be able to grip the underside.
Why are the sets so expensive man, I didn’t think that products like this were even above 200 dollars for a whole set but just for the wheel and pedals are 650 and then the shifter is 150. So all together for 800 dollars. That’s ridonkulous
I have the shifter and 6th gear is your reverse you have to push down i dont like that its stupid they need to make it look like it has its own reverse gear not 6th gear
you can easily just clamp it on the right side of the wheel, if that is what you prefer. i am used to a left hand layout. when i tried a right hand layout, it was really hard to get used to, to answer your question.
@@benjamineholloman oh i just found out, check out if it works with a dongle so what i mean is, shifter uses a dongle to connect directly into your pc, and thrustmaster with pedals work on their own, and then you download software for both. hope it works!
I have everything but my steering wheel box has a cover on the bottom stoping cables from going in how do I detach it without damaging it so I can but it back on

I just bought this and the weel is really jolty for some reason. Also the gearstick won’t go to gears 5 and 6 when I put it there?

Hmm the shifter is 50 bucks. There are cheaper wheels, look for thrustmaster t150.

No, it's only for the G29, G920 or G923.
However, you can use the ThrustMaster TH8A (shifter) with the Logitech wheels.
