I know I'm late to the game but I'm looking to purchase G920 steering wheel set now. G29 might have some extra features but I'm really a PC/Xbox guy so just cause I might want to play on my xbox/tv one day I'll go for that version. Definitely will be getting a shifter and probably a Playseat brand cockpit. There's some good modifications out there too for these wheels/pedals/shifters. Might make a video about my experience in future too :)
Thanks a lot for this unpacking clip :-). I needed to figure out how to repack it into the box, because I had to switch to Xbox. The G-29 wheel for PS4/PS3 has served me nicely for sevaral years. Much better than the G-27 which had an annoing play when centered. This one is much mote precise, and I bought the same model for the new Xbox. (Would happily have stayed with Sony, but since it was not possible to get hold of a PS5 I felt the need to switch to the competing console.)

I have never needed to connect the G-27 for Playstation to anything other than the console. No need for an external calibration. At startup the wheel calibrates itself as far as I know.

on PC, can the "share", "options" and "PS" buttons be assigned to any functions in the game? I mean, can I set, for example, "share" to be a pit stop, and under "options - pause" and "PS" - speed limiter? for example

i think there should be a setting for 'Manual w/ clutch' in game that would definitely let you use the clutch.
Carx has the option for u to use manual transmission with clutch

In project cars 2 you have to go to settings and require clutch to change gears. It will shift without it if u dont have clutch on

Is there a way to tighten the wheel. Like to make it harder to turn I guess. The steering not talking about keeping it on the stand. It’s like when your in a real car it’s tighter than the gaming wheel. Is there a way or is that how it is. I know it’s been years but I hope you can still answer

@@beybladewarrior468 well because in Europe the steering is on the left we shift with our right hand. But in UK the steering wheel is on the right so they shift with their left hand
