@@277imperator of course he knew, dicks nickname around the circus was Robin. A few weeks after the Graysons were murdered and Bruce Wayne adopts the orphaned dick, then all of a sudden batman starts running around with a kid calling himself Robin. Not that hard for anyone in the circus at that time to figure it out
I love Dick Grayson, Nightwing is not only the best Robin, but one of the best superheroes ever, period. Not only did he manage to leave Batman's shadow and become one of the best leaders in all of DC, but he's almost managed to combine Batman's crazy will and determination with a sense of Optimism and hope for the world and the people he deals with.
Dick is witty and funny, so that's what I like about him. Jason is very based on anger, bad tempered, not the biggest fan of him. Tim, he's got a little bit of dicks wit, but he also has a little bit of Jason's strength, so in my opinion Tim is the best robin but to me Nightwing is the badass of all of them

2:55 That's how Tim found out batmans and Nightwings identity, only a Grayson could pull of those acrobat moves, and who has he been with for the last 10 years? Bruce Wayne, therefore Batman's Bruce Wayne
Super Super Hero Yup. The Flying Graysons were the only people alive that could perform the quadruple summersault, and Robin did it. Now who's the only Flying Grayson alive? Dick.
"Dick, I remember you swinging down to the ground as your parents climbed the latter. Your mother went first, your father followed. And then it happened. Their trapeze rope snapped, and they fell. I turned away. I couldn't watch. Then I heard you crying, and I turned back and saw you holding on to them, And I began crying too." -Tim Drake
That, and it doesn’t take a genius to find out “hey, this crime fighter with advice tech now has a kid sidekick who fits the exact same description as the ward of a reclusive billionaire with a tragic backstory! Total coincidence!
"I told you to keep an open mind!" Geez, Robin, you're reading each others' thoughts; unless you got a hacksaw, you can't get much more open than that.
The moment when you realize, the only person Batman and Robin trusted in this universe with their identities, was Wally West. No one else on the team knew who Robin was except Kid Flash.. until later on when he becomes Nightwing and Wally is gone. Really says alot about Wally's character.

dude, Haley is amazing, knowing that it's Dick and not saying anything because he realizes Dick probably wants to hide or remain unknown currently? Also probably realizing what it means to be here and what this circus means for his history? So wholesome and caring, only reveals it at the end in a comforting way.
Now this is actual Wally, a kind hearted one at that, wished he didn't have a girl friend.. Cause it kind of changed him.. I wished Robin was still Robin in season 2 , so it wouldn't change..Xc oh well, nightwing is still good :)

+r0vertTheA2zian I think that might be a little dark and condescending towards his parent's death so I'm thinking that's probably not what he was referring to...
This was almost too sweet that the ringmaster could recognise Dick and yet chose not to question him, simply expressing his pride of how the boy's grown up "well". I think it's sweet how YJ included a bit of Robin's past because it sheds some light for fans who might not know the whole story and it also portrays a scene of vulnerability for Robin. Which i feel is good because this is in contrast to Robin's typical strong characteristics. This kind of reminds viewers that essentially he's still the same circus boy behind the mask, behind the antics and skills, he's still A YOUNG BOY at the end of the day.
Did you choose "A Matter of Family" over "Robin's Reckoning" from Batman: TAS because the style of Young Justice was more consistent with The Batman's art style?
+Jake Rutigliano Hmmm…it's probably more because I could only find "A Matter of Family." I don't think I've ever seen "Robin's Reckoning." I'll have to check that out. Sorry for replying a year later lol

Well, it's two shows put together. So I just took a couple of scenes from Young Justice's Performance and a couple of scenes from The Batman's A Matter of Family
Dick Grayson will always be my favourite Robin. He learned Batman's code, was a good friend and mentor to Tim (curious about his relationship with Jason) and was one hell of a character. How are TT and the batman the same universe, it was confirmed by the creator to not be connected to any other series, and I say that about YJ because Dick in that show looks like Robin from the batman only older

I like when the man gives like a 10 sec. speech to Robin/Dick it was touching
2:54 And that's how Tim figured it out
I like the fact that you used some of younger Teen Titans Robin (aka, The Batman Robin)'s past in there, that episode made me finally understand why Robin was always so serious in the Teen Titans. I continued watching the rest of The Batman season 4-5 from there.
Wait so YJ is in the same world as "the batman?"
+david Lewis no, "Teen Titans" is in the same universe as "The Batman". Just look at the graphics. The Batman shows Teen Titans Robin's past, not YJ Robin's past.
How are TT and the batman the same universe, it was confirmed by the creator to not be connected to any other series, and I say that about YJ because Dick in that show looks like Robin from the batman only older
+Cat Nip Thank you for the compliment!
mocoro10 you're welcome :)
This guy put in scenes from "The Batman"
No kidding. It says so in the description. >.>
A recall from "The Batman" good times. Makes me wonder if any of villains from that show is like anything from Young Justice.
My favourite character
That's how Robin Lost his parents and his brother
When robin is staring at the flyer and the piano music begins playing in the background, does anyone know the name of that soundtrack? Gives me chills
That was such a good line.
Son you've grown. But somethings never change. Like the sight of a grayson on a trapeze. You cant fake that you cant hide it.
1:05 .......Alucard? Is that you?
Pretty neat clip. Thanks for sharing it. :-)
nooo my baby dont cry
Nice editing dude
what the hell at 2:14 it was the exact same thing that happened in (the batman) tv series like it was the same graphic and same thing that happened in it
yeah I noticed that aswell
+GameUnbox thats because it is the exact same clip
+GameUnbox thats because it is the exact same clip
i know that but i'm curious why did they used that clip
GameUnbox its just about dick's past. he has baisically the same past in both series, so they just used that clip.

1:30 ...The boy is Bruce Wayne u3uU
Thats tim drake
+Chinetta Scott No, it isn't
Young Justice "Performance"
The Batman "A Matter of Family"
Was jason todd ever in yj
Ya. In season two some guys were in a grove where they had memorials for the fallen. It showed Jason's memorial. I rlly wish season 2 had started earlier so we could have some Jason action. He's my favourite Robin.
I like how they showed the past from the one Batman show, The Batman or something and it’s in the same universe as Young Justice
WHAT THE FUCK ROXAS IS THAT YOU?
I like how the scenes from the past are from "The Batman" cartoon
Such a great episode, almost made me cry. I can't imagine how DIck felt. He has always been my favourite Robin.
I love how the uploader mixed YJ with The Batman
This was a great S1 episode of YJ about Dick's old circus.
Great work i love it!!
Umm...I'm not the one who made it that way...so...if you don't believe me or have a problem with it, look it up, because that's just the way it is...
Thank you for making this video about me.
i actually agree with the ringmaster's saying and i couldnt help but Smile and grin when Dick do what he was born to do even undercover
