OK, I admit it, I started watching videos of her play largely because she’s so easy on the eyes, but damned if she doesn’t have me listening to more classical music. (And don’t correct me, pedants-I know this isn’t music from the classical period.)

Tausend Dank, dass Du für uns spielst! Für Dein lebendes, atmendes, manchmal brennendes Piano-Spiel. Tausend Dank auch an das Orchester und den Dirigenten!
Khatia,I don't know how you do it but you can slide from one note to another that I thought could only be done on a stringed instrument a woodwind or brass, it's some kind of magic.
Khatia has the heart and soul of a true performance Artist. She intuitively seems to know how to bring a piano piece to life. She doesn't just play the notes...she makes them dance and sing.
Talent, expressiveness, charm, dedication and joyfulness as to how this diva expresses her talent is what enlivens my being when I see her perform, and to whom I convey my humble thanks and blessings...
I never thought any piece would replace the Rach 3 as my favorite concerto, but damn, this is making a run for it. And who else to make it happen than Khatia? And not even having it completely memorized? Unbelievable.
It is rare to see a piano concerto where the artist is reading from the score. If Miss Buniatishvili had a short time to prepare for this concert, all the more amazing for the fantastic performance she gives. Thank you for posting this beautiful piece.
What a beautiful composition and piano player.Though I was born and raised in a musician family in Azerbaijan but I hadn't heard this composition before.
a remarkable performance of khatia and the orchestra of a wonderful intricate piece and she was really enjoying herself playing the whole of the time, just completely immersed in the whole feel and mood of the music very very special
International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong) 31.03.2016 ..... One may say that it is important for musicians to have a unique musical style and personality, but is it even acceptable to interpret the pieces like what Buniatishvili did? Buniatishvili is intoxicated by being virtuosic and often forgets what is behind the music. One should have faith in his or her own interpretation, but he or she should also re-think whether he or she is doing justice to the music or not. In addition, technique is much more than playing the notes accurately and rapidly. Technique refers to the total mastery of the keyboard. Yet, at times Buniatishvili’s playing lost control, no matter use of pedal, or tone production. Virtuosity does not necessarily mean speed and volume. In order to become a mature artist with individuality, Buniatishvili has to reflect on her musical approach and attitude towards music making.
