Can we add multiple songs to the same disc? Like copy it in the notepad and then change the names to another song so I could have 2 different of the long discs but for different songs? edit: You also said they changed that you could change the disc time- Im playing on a server thats 1.18.2 can we change the time of disc then Only if we cant have multiple of the same length disc if that makes sense
Sorry, no. You can't add multiple songs on to the same disc. And no, you can't change the times that the disk plays. That is a bug that MC knows about but is in no hurry to fix.
Check out this video on changing sounds ruclips.net/video/ygNdvhuPlgQ/видео.html. Different sounds have different paths, you need to find the correct path for each sound, I show that in the video.
That usually means that you haven't played that version yet. Run Minecraft at least as far as the opening menu screen. Minecraft downloads the .jar file right before that screen is displayed.

Hey George, as of 1.21 there was a change to how music discs work. Their descriptions and sound files are controlled in a new folder called "jukebox_song" in the data folder and every file inside of that folder is a json file. I tried to make a new json (because it is able to be edited with datapacks) but I am just not smart enough to figure it out. Could you maybe look into it or have someone you know look into it?

Check the file names, make sure they are exactly the same as the originals. The disc image has to be saved as png, a jpg will not work. Also make sure you didn't use any capital letters anywhere.

I remake this video for each new version of Java, whenever MC changes the pack format. I do that mostly because there are changes, and people search for the tutorial by version number. You need to add the sounds folder like I show in the video. It isn't in the vanilla resource pack. If you are still hearing the original sounds then Minecraft isn't seeing the new sound files, check that the names are exactly the same as the originals, no capital letters, no spelling errors etc. Also make sure the pack is saved to .zip and not .rar, it has to be .zip. If you are not hearing any sound at all that usually means that the sound file .mp3 was typed over so it says .ogg, that does not work, the file has to be converted to .ogg. Also lots of online converters don't make .ogg files that MC can use.
unrelated topic but do you know how to change the fog color in bedrock edition I've made my custom resource pack and i have all the other stuff working fine but the fog color wont change.
I never looked into this for Java, but over in Bedrock it is handled by a .json file in a folder named fogs. The problem is that every biome has its own fog setting, so would be a lot of files to update. The fog color is in hexidecimal format, for instance the color for the Birch Forest is #0677ce and that can be set in the .json file. I am sure it is basically similar in Java, I just don't know where those files are hidden.

@@FireXdawg Hi, I did some more digging and found where the fog color is hiding in Java edition. In the vanilla resource pack look in data/minecraft/worldgen/biome/basalt_deltas.json. I have never tried to change the color there so I am not sure what the pack should look like.

As you move away from the jukebox the music will fade out. But there is a glitch that will let you hear it anywhere, just leave the song in stereo and it will not fade out. This glitch has been fixed in Bedrock, but it hasn't yet been fixed in Java. So, Mono and it fades out, Stereo and it doesn't.

quick update. i fixed the sound and changed it back to item instead of items but the texture isnt working

Make sure you changed both locations in the lang file, the one for the name and the one for the description.

Sure, but things change too much in snapshots so I don't recommend doing any customization until final releases.
