3:00 I dam love this sentiment! Way too much do I hear from music fans young and old that "You can't change perfection" or "The original is always better" Seeming to never realise that every track that they know and love was born from experimenting and changing things, breaking free from what This or That artist did. Some of the best tracks people don't even realise are covers became so successful because of how different they are. It really annoys me when people seem to reject moving forward with music and trying to make everything sound like the same thing you've heard a million times, then complain that pop music is too repetitive or is too same'y. Imagine if instead of doing what made one person/band successful you took their idea and just made it completely different. Great vid to illustrate my point I love this so much
My objection to Wheezer covering "Africa" is that is sounds just like the original, so what was the point? And Rob Zombie covering "We're an American Band" is just the original with a harsher voice and more guitar. But Scott Bradlee covering songs is great because he makes them his own things. Hendrix made "All Along the Watchtower" his.
I love how you can still hear the original in the way that it's played and yet it's a completely different song. You can tell that really took the song in and made it their own in the best way possible and I am OBSESSED
the 1983 los angeles version of ac/dc is not real and can't hurt you the 1983 los angeles version of ac/dc: (still not hurting me, this is fucking awesome)
I could never quite put my finger on what made a song sound "indie" until watching this video. I don't know the technical term for it, but it should sound pussified.
That was so far off the original, I had to play the original to remind my self what the song was about. Its ok to do a cover, it doesn't have to be perfect like a note for note like those Pink Floyd cover groups do it, but it has to at least be in the ball-park.
sounds ok but why would i listen to this gay version of a great anthemic song, like why would i ? even the guys in the band look like hobbos, do not get me wrong, it sounds nice but rock music has energy and balls, this is far form it, just way above this band vibe, even the guys look like low energy
Very much a "Cars" vibe. Nice work for an afternoon.
Definitely especially the part starting at 12:24
I was thinkin the same thing 🔥
Basically a copy happening right around 6:00
Was totally my first thought!
Absolutely, that little drum/clap section, could almost bleed in to a cars song at any point. Nice work

@@recoil53 I know right, glad to see there's others who agree too
Love how you’re also promoting a small band as well
It sounds like "the Cars" covering "AC-DC" ! Amazing !
I was thinking Tom Petty but I hear where you are coming from and I might be tempted to go 'the cars'
@@jeffmaas9308 funny I heard Tom Petty and the Killers
@@joew717 Likewise. The killers, some cars, and Wolf Parade

Very Cars. Just need a synthesizer. Very just what i needed vibe
There literally is one in the track 🎹
I love how much fun they are having. ❤
I love this cover

the 1983 los angeles version of ac/dc:
(still not hurting me, this is fucking awesome)
This entire band looks like it’s comprised entirely of bassists
Love love love!!!
It’s almost like Cars and Tom Petty got together to play AC/DC… I like it!
Its giving me a cars/killers vibe.
This is one of the most Badass things That I have gotten to witness ,
ever so lately.
The studio/jamming footage rules 🤘
Very different take on the classic original. I like it. 🤙🏼💪🏼😎
If tom petty and the heart breakers wrote this song...I think this is how it would sound.
Great job everyone. Super fun!
This is awesome!
this is super rad
The Magic Numbers vibe ✨✨
I like it. I think the vocals volume is a touch low.
Dare I say...I might like this more than the original. Maybe it's the tempo.
For once I'm here early. Neat stuff!
Where is the Spotify link to this song?
Spotify probably taking time to process the upload.
Okay, we will wait then. @@Crunchy-Peanuts
It’s up!
Yes, sir. It is up. Thank you @@andrewfalk21
Not a fan of AC/DC or the original version but this is very nice! Really digging it. You all did a great job.
Nice work, Mike is a badass
guys could you upload final versions to qobuz or make it otherwise available in CD quality?
Stellar performance.
Spotify link sends me to their album.
Money Talks is nowhere to be seen 🤷🏻♂️
10/10 video idea wow
Kicks so much ass
Thanks,dudes.
What a cover!!🤘🤘🤘
kids incorporated, version
i cant stop listening to this
Love the harmonies..
This is something Id add to my collection. I dont spotify tho.
Maybe release the final edit as a standalone video? Great work!
Just download the video, rip the audio, then cut out just the song
I love all music, seriously, but I just don't gel with AC/DC. It's mainly the lead singers tonality. Just grates on me. Otherwise fantastic 👏
I understand though, he's is phenomenal. Just personally not a fan
That’s why I like this cover so much. The laid back vocal.
@@captainradio5894 It is fantastic
Listen to their original music with a different lead singer
His voice is more normal. Stuff like “let there be rock” (banger song)
Really nice take on that song! Good job loved it! 🤟✌️👍❤️🇨🇦
the voice gives me john lennon instant karma vibes, i dont know why, but it is what it is. great episode
I love this.
I think the guitar players should switch guitars!🙂
Awesome version!
ps. Kyle Schick looks like Matthew Sweet and Ron Sexsmith's offspring :P
Sounds like a cover performed by Traveling Wilburys.
K. uhm...whut? they wouldn't bother.
This was AMAZING!! The Cars meets AC/DC
Second
So? We are supposed to have fun?!

macho man over here
well i’m in this video and I love pussy.
Hahah imagine saying "pussified" and not thinking you sound like an absolute tosser
what a lame ass comment
I have never wondered that actually and neither has anyone else
