Quick Video on how to screen mirror on your Roku TV or Device Without Internet connection. For your Apple Devices it is Possible but you will need to invest in a Lightning to HDMI Adapter or an Apple TV. Vizio and LG TVs have Apple Air Play capabilities.

If you are having difficulties screen mirroring from your phone to a smart TV here are some tips:
Restart both devices Unplug your TV for a few minutes and restart your phone.
Make sure both devices have software/firmware updated.
If your phone has a USB-C connector you can try to hard wire it connecting it directly to your tv with an adapter and HDMI. amzn.to/32Oi7OZ
If everything fails you might consider purchasing an AMAZON FIRE STICK or ROKU and screen mirror with those devices. You can also screen mirror without a network/internet connection on both with newest generation.

Using Samsung galaxy S7, my hisense 43" roku tv settings are set to allow connection and mirroring, but when I try to click my device with smart view, it gets stuck at connecting and I dont get a prompt on my tv to say "proceed anyway." Any idea what to do?
I was able to make it work, apparently having wifi enable on my phone (but not being connected to any network) made it time out on the connection. Disabling wifi allowed me to connect. Unfortunately trying to stream videos has been so laggy that it's basically unwatchable.

I have a samsung Ao3 phone and I don't have smartview. I can't get my phone to connect to my TV via Bluetooth eaither. I have the adapter for my daughter's tablet that has samsung dex ...which myvmy phone dose now have either.
So mine doesn't give a proceed anyway option. It says 'Rokucast could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network connection and try again.' Then it gives 'check network' and 'cancel' options

I have Samsung and it worked but have not figured out how to do it on my moto 5 g. Any ideas? Also it seems you're screwed if you have a iphone. Got to pay the apple mafia I guest. This is a feature Samsung really shines on. Also I had to connect to the internet via my mobile hotspot start a Roku account to get the Roku update because the TV did not come with. So you need internet to set up . I mirror with my Samsung with no internet connection after the setup.

Do you need a smart tv to do this? If you have to spend more money on an hdmi adapter, not really worth it. Also, this still uses your phone data to cast/mirror onto the tv, right? Not great if you don't have unlimited data.

I have no screen mirroring on my 58 inch ONN
I still can't figure out how to make it work but I do know that when you first use that tv the screen mirror option won't be there until after you set up the TV using internet.
So I got to buy something to put to my phone to watch without Wi-Fi for the price that they'll be as well just fucking by dial up🤣😚
