You can pair the shrimp with a pair gobbies already bonded or mated, my two yellow gobbies love when I added the pistol shrimp. Thanks for your videos, they’ve really helped me on this marine tank journey 💯
Hey Brock, big fan of your content. Whenever I'm interested in buying a fish and search it up, your videos always come first and give me the info I need. I was just wondering where you buy your fish because the prices you list are usually a lot cheaper than the places I get mine. I have a local fish store nearby but the fish are very overpriced so I like to shop on liveaquria but when I watched your fox face video you said you can get it for around 40 but the same exact one on LiveAquaria was listed at 85. Do you buy your fish online or at a local store?
Thanks again for the great video! I added a yellow watch and go be about a month ago, and haven't been able to get my hands on a Randall's... I decided I will be adding a tiger pistol shrimp, any recommendations/tips for adding the shrimp to encourage bonding?
When putting them in the tank, try to put them near their cave as best as you can. Also when feeding, try to direct the food so that it pushes them to go to the same spot.
Hey Brock! I just got a banded goby last week. Haven't seen it since I put him in the tank. Want to get the shrimp thinking maybe that will bring him out. However, I have a valentini puffer. Will the puffer eat my shrimp if I get one? I just have a 32.5g tank Thank you
You said Diamond Goby's will pair with the shrimp. Most things I am reading on forums say this is not the case since they are sand sifters. Do you have any personal experience with them? I really like them but will grab something else if they won't pair.
I have 2 bonded yellow watchman gobbies and when I add the shrimp they paired immediately, I just dropped him in by there whole, first he dug tunnels for them there, now he’d moved them to the other side of the tank with even more space. He does change the sand landscape everyday so be prepared for that, but I love it he makes it look more natural with his tunnels and sand piles 🤷🏾♂️
Lol there was alot of rare fish on there.I didn't know most of them..I only put pelagic trigger cause I saw a video of someone talking about it at orlando fish expo and totally want one but do not believe what he was saying as far as price/aggression only I cannot find anything else about it. Anyway you do a good job I'm sure we'll like whatever you put out
Hey so i have a orange spotted shrimp goby that my domino damsel has seem to made friends with, but i have special grade reef sand would that sand be okay for the goby?
I bought a pistol shrimp which I thought was a scarlet shrimp. It’s a giant after what this pistol shrimp built giant tunnels under rocks it made sand storms so I bought a yellow watchman goby and the shrimp is twice the size of him but I guess I can never catch him he killed a bunch of Sexy shrimp Is there a way to catch him please help??? Anything I put near the home they live in they will move or put sand on it. I wish I knew in the beginning I had a huge pistol shrimp??? It’s sooo loud too but cool in ways. But is there a way to catch them?
It’s rare a shrimp will bond to a Diamond, as they dig constantly around the tank instead of inhabiting one cave. I’ve seen people try the randalls but never have much luck
Got a pair yesterday and I love them, the shrimps been making that noise and it’s super loud too! Very cool symbiotic relationship!
I gotta get one in my display tank! That is awesome
Yo Brock. I have a goby and ima about to upgrade my tank. Are they hardy?
Wow. He blends so well with the sand. Very pretty.

I think he works or worked at a LFS so maybe his specific store is less pricey or taking employee discount into consideration idk
I miss the (all about )psychedelic intro
Love your vids, keep it up man

@@BrockLeonard thanks for the advice! Within 12 hours of acclimating the shrimp, they already formed a relationship and built a cave together!

Hi Brock! I'm curious about comparability with the green clown gobies?

My lfs said sand sifting gobies basically slowly starve to death because there isn't enough in the sand too sustain them and they are hard to feed.
Does the shrimp and fish always pair up or is it something that just happens over a long period of time?
hey brock, could i put one of these guys in a 20 gallon? Would he be ok with an emerald crab?
YES! 😁
@@BrockLeonard thank you for all of your advice!
Can the Randall pistol shrimp be good for my emerald crabs if I placed them on my reef tank I’m planning of getting one
As long as the emerald crab has plenty to eat you should not run into any problems. A hungry crab can sometimes get aggressive.
will yellow watchman goby pair with red banded snapping shrimp?
I've seen it in the past! it's definitely worth a shot
Hey Brock..I'm on my way to pick up a metallic goby..is that shrimp goby

So are Pistol shrimp compatible with other types of shrimp?
@Paul Hopkins thank you.. I want to add to my collection of shrimp lol .
What, if any, shrimp can bond with a diamond goby? Love the vids! Thanks

@@BrockLeonard seems to hold true for mine as well since I added a shrimp a week ago. Thanks
Will a pistol shrimp kill my other small fish and snails, hermits and fire shrimp with its snap
Very rare. These pistol shrimps aren't that aggressive to go and kill your fish.
Do these guys eat pellets?
Thanks Brock
Indigo Hamlet Grouper!
1.020-1.025(Goby)
1.023-1.025(Shrimp)
Both survive at 1.024
Shrimp(SLOW ACCLIMATION)
It looks kinda like the Randall goby
Give the old intro back pls
I can definitely see it coming back in the future 😎
