So people liked him not just for his personality or gameplay, but also his views. So him abusing his girlfriend and other women, only to give a weak apology was completely unlike the image everyone had of him, and everyone reacted to this how Wilbur taught them to. I honestly don't know what's with Minecraft youtubers being some of the worst people. I honestly hope that captainsparklez, antvenom, or dantdm don't do anything bad irl because they are some of my comfort creators that I like to watch every once in a while
