- What is Minecraft kids content? There are serval answers and opinions on what minecraft kids content is. However, recently there has been an increasingly larger number of former Minecraft RUclipsrs becoming Minecraft kids content creators... This is what I think of them and their content.
i think this video is actually pretty decent (maybe except a few parts here or there). Overall, im satisfied with it and hope you are able to at least somewhat enjoy watching it, thanks.

I don’t remember being a ‘loud and prominent’ voice that had a good argument as I was probably one of the people who tried to stay out of all the conflict because I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect the video to blow up the way it did but the way I see it, if they want to do it, we shouldn’t stop them even if it just seems they just want money after all, some people just do youtube for a job which it seems that some of these people are doing now so we should just let them be. Except for those disgusting copycats those gotta go.
Thank you for making this. As someone who also grew up in the Stampy and DanTDM time of Minecraft youtube, you make a really strong argument on how the change in content has become more in ways to prioritise monetisation rather than actually care for younger viewers
I agree, Aphmau’s modern day videos are basically the same as Cash & Nico’s, but unlike then Aphmau’s modern day video sometimes features age-inappropriate themes such as pregnancy, romantic content, violence and murder, and even sometimes going as far as having a character naked, well not entirely naked. They’re literally just in their underwear

I kind of agree unfortunately, and it seems to affect my perspection of the world lately. Like there's a sense of fakeness, of greed and soulessness in the media lately. I kind of stopped watching like over 95% of content on youtube and stopped watching tv shows and movies altogether because i've been craving something more 'intimate' and that i simply don't have much time nowadays to surf the internet. Yes, it sounds like a strange word to use but it fits in well. I feel like we're slowly losing our warmth and humanity, like we're all just reduced to flesh and bones waiting for the next high.
I hope this doesn't bother you that much, it's just something I felt about not just Minecraft content on youtube now, but also the world's current entertainment lately.

As someone who's makes Minecraft content and ROBLOX content for fun. Ill never do the fast past changing or whatever. I want to make old calming lets plays i made as a kid. If i never get monetized thats fine

Thank you so much for your wonderful input. This is the kind of concern I want to hear regarding kids content. I don't care what's "cringe" I'm worried for the highly impressionable minds that might be set back by certain content and I believe that concern should be more widespread to find a solution.
This in my opinion this feels like viprahs videos on this but on a lower/ more family friendly way and easier to understand aswell

dude changed all of my view to youtube like he explain youtube kid creator content and say these are the real people and i liked that pretty much like some videos with bad quality and bad learning might take the children to the some levels of that the cheap and low quality content gonna make more than those that making huge quality

I've seen some "RUclips kids content" under a Minecraft video i have been watching... That was very much for adults. The thumbnail was very NSFW with steve being bounded and welll, I can't say more. It was even a live stream.
Also i noticed a trend in recent videos made by other people. Every 10 seconds they would spam the viewer with loud sound effects. It was very distracting and i couldn't watch more than 1 minute before i scrolled past the intro, only for the sound effects to be still spammed, i had to leave the video, how can people handle that?

Personally im at a young age but i dont watch this "kids content" and kids my age dont either but if i tell someone that plays minecraft do you wanna play (insert complicated pvp here) they have no idea what im talking about but i guess im just ahead of my age also i almost completely agree what youre saying but i think creators should be held a little more accountable of what they post because it may change a childs point of view on things and (as you said) impact a childs brain devolopement. I think what parrotx2 somewhat agreed with on his podcast with nico and cash was the opposite of what he actually thought because he can go on and on about how he likes his videos to have meaning and an emotional impact on the viewer but he completely avoided that in his podcast to avoid controversey (this might be too critical but these are just my thoughts) uh this getting too long sorry for the essay

8:53 - 9:38 RUclipsrs are supposed to entertain us the better they can trough digital videos, their job is fundamently bad for the human health and the better they do it, the worst it's going to be for our health. It's like chocolate, ofc it is unhealthy but it tastes good and that is point of it, you can't blame the chocolate company bc you ate it unresponsibly and is now literally dying.
That argument is based off the assumption that all digital content creators, no matter their content, intrinsically are harmful. There are many creators who genuinely try to create content that both entertains and isn't harmful, sometimes even beneficial, to the viewer. Additionally, I agree with what you said. It is like chocolate. And while there's nothing wrong with chocolate companies existing, there is a problem that they intentionally make their products addicting. Same goes for Kids Content creators. They are intentionally creating their videos to be addicting to vulnerable viewers, making them watch unreasonable amounts of it, which you yourself said was unhealthy behavior.
@@Leomafrogo Yes but you can't blame the content creators for making addicting content, they are just doing their job effectivily and if their viewers watch them excessivily, that is problem of the viewer or their parents in this case.
Chocolate is made to be good, but it is unhealthy. The better the chocolate, the more people buy it but they aren't forced to buy it, they have their choices and bad choices always lead to bad things.

Finally a new video welcome back 🎉
As someone who does watch kids content, this video is a bit outdated. Take for example NotNico’s “why I left” video, where they enjoy making this kids content. Cash & Nico both originally made their kids channel counterparts to fund main videos, but they found they enjoy making kids content more. I,who is thinking about making kids content myself, do see the flaws of this. These ideas are hard to come by. Another thing you didn’t point out is that these content creators (cash, Nico, wudo, etc.) know each other, and are creating an ecosystem of content for kids to enjoy. Think about this as stampylonghead, but for the younger generation. And, as soon as they become irrelevant, they can pop back up on their old channels and make content that we enjoy more. Also, this content isn’t exactly brainwashing kids like Cocomelon is. Instead, it gets kids invested in the content, and enjoy it from start to finish, not changing scenes every 3 seconds.
I’m not sure if this is comparable to stampy cat. Stampy incorporated actual “moral of the story” type beat and was centered around having fun. But this new age kids content is centered around being flashy and stimulating. The videos have no resemblance of flow, story, or anything that’s meant to be comprehensive other than one big eye catching explosion to the next. Even if the creators are enjoying making this, I think according to 8:17 it doesn’t have a positive effect on the peopel watching
@@Leomafrogothat is true, however the colours change and are as stimulating as a general cartoon, maybe a bit faster, but definitely not cocomelon stimulation. I’ve seen some roleplay RUclipsrs incorporate morals, but they are harder to find, ranging 20k-220k views on average.

i will say, youtubers who used to actually be fun such as UnspeakableGaming, 09sharkboy, and others were the reasons why we grew through our childhood left with golden memories.
its disappointing though now to see them fall into such holes where its all meant for trickery amongst children. thumbnails, ideas, all scripted videos...i dont know anymore...

I see it as the modern Minecraft kids channels like Cash and Nico, are unoriginal and their jokes are as stale as a Stalnox that was left out in the sun for 100,000 years, but old ones like Stampy, they will always be cool, and unique, like how Dan had the Minecraft mod showcases, and Stampy had the Stampy's Lovely World along with his other content like Breath of the Wild
While yes these types of channels are a problem, but that doesn’t mean they were different before. An example is Aphmau, originally when she started making videos her channel name was something like ChallengeGamer or whatever it was I forgot, after that she regularly started playing minecraft with her friends and changed her channel to Aphmau, most people hate on her because of what she is making right now but nobody even dares to look at her channels history, for most her videos were mostly targeted on teenagers since she started creating series which were basically rp and as someone who as watched Phoenix Drop High and My Street as well My Inner Demons, her content before wasn’t focused on kids as there was a lot of things that was not for kids, blood etc. although I can’t say the same for cash and Nico, they both are cringe as hell and Aphmau basically the only one I support.

I feel like im diffrent then most kids, i have diffrent humor, intrests everything. These types of videos advertised as kids are disgusting. Marking videos as "not for kids" wont do anything. Think of BFDI. Its for kids but not marked for kids so people can actually comment. I'll edit and leave more evidence soon

But Y’know, the content today, in movies, music, and social media, is just brain-numbing garbage. So I dislike kids content as much as everything else out there, it all sucks. Nothing is behind it, when making content now a days, creators find one small idea, and represent it in a flat, no story, no heart, boring way.
Also, I’m one of the people that watched Aphmau when I was younger, and she’s one of the creators that switched over to kids content, and now that’s her thing. But she’s a mom, a business woman, and a nice person, so you gotta give her respect, just like all the other writers, RUclipsrs, and songwriters that are just trying to live like we do. I respect the hustle.
i think creators should think about the impact of their work, just like everyone else. I think if Aphmau is a mom, she especially should be mindful of how she could be influencing kids/pre-teens with her content

Controversial opinion. Reaction content is worse than kids content. Atleast not all big kids content channels dont bury the original works of creators just to make more money. I know elsagate slop exist and is still worse, but it atleast is somewhat being in check by moneterization.
