Oh god, I wasn't aware that it has become this convoluted. But this is such a nice video, Fizz! Your editing is always on par too. It would be pretty cool if you'll make a video about how complex the algorithm is, since I actually like how you talk about it. So captivating.
Fake maizen is the type of stuff you'd never expect, Like imagine something like idk "Fake Steveee" and what not
There were definitely lots of Steveee copycats when he broke the algorithm, so in a weird way this is an expected outcome on RUclips.

This reminds me of the DarkViperAU react content “drama”. He says reaction content creators are trying to maximise people’s time on their videos and no-one else’s, and that kind of applies here, as the smaller, copy channels are taking away revenue from the main channel.
If you’re interested, it’s called “Reactors: The Professional Parasites”.
I’m not going to link it, I don’t want to look like a bot, but it’s a similar concept to this.
I'm a big fan of DarkViper, and well aware of the react drama. There are some parallels between copycats and reactors, as you mentioned. Although I'd argue that fake Maizen channels are actually responding to a content gap (kids want more Maizen content than what is provided by Maizen), and I don't think it has a big impact on the official videos.

Yeah, I believe they are aware of it. The English channel recently changed their handle to @ maizenofficial, possibly to ensure that their channel is more easily recognized vs the fakes.

@XDcole_ The Guys who are doing the official channel are fine. It’s Just the fake channels. It’s pretty kid-appropriate, but the sounds are a bit annoying and it’s not always vanilla minecraft.
Back in my day we used to watch popularmmos and stampycat. It's sad kids now need to watch these types of videos.
Blame it on Elsagate and the rise of IPad parenting.
Minecraft kids content is becoming a trend rn. Im in a minecraft kids content server and man alot of big youtubers are in it. Sipover, minecraft curios and more (idk if they are all gonna do kids content or if their just there)
it's definitely clear that Minecraft Kids content, despite seeming oversaturated, is in extremely high demand. I wouldn't blame established creators wanting part in the revenue.
if they make the content with utmost respect for the audience they want to appeal to, I don't see any problems with it.
This is quite depressing. I’d imagine they’d put that disclaimer in the description as a safeguard from any copyright claims/lawsuits. If the fakers start using ads though…

My fiancées little sister was watching Aphmau one time, I left the room and came back, and somehow she was on a video of animals being dissected, but the thumbnail was a Minecraft thumbnail. Even RUclips kids aren't safe.

when maizen started uploading the subs went up from 200k to 600k in 2 day

I was also able to see a Maizen ad by opening an incognito tab.
I was playing a game and then their ad Appeared in a Minecraft server

Some of the fake channels just copy the audio from a maizen video and match their scenes with the audio since they couldn’t find the voice changer that maizen used

Maizen was the only channel that reached 1 Trillion views on Japan making it more popular than Hikakin Games. Most people in Japan use it as a joke and content, but other english people use it as an impersonation because Mikey was more popular than Zenichi, Mikey is more unique than Zenichi. Most people loved Mikey over Zenichi that they used him for views, imagine Maizen's employee sees this they would be mad since their hard work from 2018 to 2023 lot's of things has changed throughout the years
They are suffering from Physical Condition (both Mikey and Zenichi)
And Zenichi got covid making his voice worser so they hired a voice actor replacing Zenichi while he was away.
Maizen's big secret is in Instagram
One of the post revealed someone's face but it's in blur another one is in Tiktok however i lost the video but during the tour the person showed a photo of Zenichi and Mikey being interviewed.

I Always watch maizen English channel and I rarely watch the Japanese version I only know a couple of Japanese I only know irakmas=bonappetit and arigato=thank you and yamete kudasai=please stop su shi=sushi and mizu=water and I know 2 hawaii words really easy to say ae=yes a'ole=no
they also have a spanish channel but they quit it 2 months ago it was doing pretty good a couple videos had over a million views on it

Hey btw the other characters seen beside the fake mikey and jj thumbnails they were stolen. The original people of those red and blue guys are nico and cash, nico was a character stolen from a minecraft pvper even the voice is the same but cash i think he is original...
