I think Alexa Real is by far the least "evil" of these creators. I've been watching their videos for a long time and they make a lot of "experiment" videos where they blow up a plot of land with TNT and then spend several hours creating a beautiful landscape from the wreckage. Most of the other videos are just silly memes and random shower questions a person may have about game mechanics, such as which mobs can reach a player on a camel or whether cobwebs cancel damage from an abruptly-ended elytra flight. In fact I'm hard-pressed to find a video that was stolen or poorly credited, unlike the other channels.
Yeah for a while after I stopped watching Steeve I was still watching Alexa Real, I don't watch either anymore, but Alexa Real was definitely the best out of all of these channels.

I have to say three MC creators that deserve love is Alexa Real, PhoenixSC and Asian Half Squat. They all just want to bring interesting experiments and ideas to the table be it cool, funny or just weird.
The problem is that we cannot ignore the fact that watching their videos is more enjoyable than watching a video of someone explaining, for example, "making redstone" that is unique and original but the presentation is too boring. As we know, people today always seek instant gratification, they want to see the result directly instead of seeing complicated and lengthy explanations.
Boring? When learning Redstone it is very boring in general but if you skip the dialogue you will still be in the dark of how to actually do it properly. Explaining it is just as important as seeing it done bc not all humans are visual learners. So... In the long run if you are bored with learning the proper ways of redstone, don't watch the videos at all then you will not become bored.
These have always existed to some degree and we know that platforms like RUclips or Twitch have zero interest in abiding by the law (yes, believe it or not, they are breaking the intelectual property law!) But I believe that the release of YT shorts a few years ago, which benefits these sort of short zero-depth videos, greatly benefitted these thiefs. We could, in theory, register our creations as works of art (probably some big YTbers already do) and sue these bastards every time they steal from us, but for us small youtubers, the amount of time this would take is just too much... It's really not hard for RUclips to remove such videos that are copies of others (especially with new AI tech), but... sight... they probably never will...
Even if this new AI tech becomes better than actual human moderation and cheaper as well, I highly doubt companies are going to impliment them until governments start forcing them to.

Even though the Minecraft community actively dislikes these youtubers, they blew up because there is a larger portion of Minecraft fans that aren’t tied to the internet at all (not using it frequently like Discord users). We don’t usually have the attention span to watch a 2 hour video of a simple idea, and when they eventually came across these videos in particular, the viewers don’t put too much attention into who made the art, only what the art is. That’s the unfortunate truth about the media and art creation. Unless the person does something bad, they are almost never known for their creations. That’s why these RUclipsrs are getting away with this in the grander scheme of things.

Give mrmaxmondays some love. He is a amazing at building and redstone
That's one of the reasons why youtube pays WAY LESS to shorts creators compared to long-form creators
In a purpledragonnuke video where he showcased a redstone build he made, someone in the comments said "i ThInK yOu stOlE tHaT fRoM sTeVeE"
Yep those kind of comments are the worst I agree.
@@LordJon25 if I remember correctly, it also happened with one of Purplers' hidden staircases. Someone named Derpy Jhomes stole it from him (Purplers mentioned it in his video covering redstone thieves), and worst of all, someone in Purplers' original video said that he probably learned it from Derpy Jhomes.
This is why people need to check the release date of videos, smh...
It's been only 15 hours and this vid already has 37k views? That's great! I'm glad that you and this problem gets more attention.
Shorts are broken. Period. I refuse to use them.
What these kinds of youtubers are doing is disgusting. It reminds me of a quote from one of imagine dragons' songs "No matter what we breed, we still are made of greed"
Considering they recreate content of smaller, almost unknown youtubers, there must be multiple people working on those channels. They search, copy and post.
3:55 This has been a problem with the Internet since day 1: you don't know who is on the other side of the screen. There was a similar thing going on where Mario Party let's plays were used to effectively print money out of thin air
Megamanny used to make dragclicking related content, don't know how he evolved into this.
As far as I saw, he just tried new video themes, came to this by accident and made more of it, but we may never know for sure :)
They stole my builds in the past, big W :)
Damn, Animalmace as well
You make shit content
thats why im gatekeeping my builds and dont release them to the public
why?
@@kingdeespadas bro tf you mean why this video Explains why 💀💀💀💀
@@kingdeespadas watch the vid and then read my comment again :)
I'm mad how they gain many more views than the original creators. About a year ago I posted a bow mlg, 6 months later spectator copied pretty much the same thing. They posted a flint and steel mlg, poisonous potato mlg, cactus mlg, TNT mlg, and several others.
Guess what? Those videos I had already posted before and they just copied. while my videos racked up no more than 20k views together, spectator's videos each got several hundred thousand with no credit to me.
The guanter o'dimm ost is perfect for this
If they steal content from other creators I don't think they really deserved to be called "creators"
Moral of the story: Don't sell your soul to the devil for some block game views.
i sold my soul :( help :( i have almost no views :(
Lol
And the worst thing is youtube just wants people making more short, dime a dozen unoriginal videos like these, and the shit-terrible shorts format is existing proof for that intent.
I find it funny how Steveee stole off of one of, if not the biggest redstone RUclipsr at the moment and thought he could get away with it.
I think the saddest part is that the people who need to see this video are the ones who are never going to see it and continue watching those who steal content
These youtubers are the type of people who say the joke out louder.
You call yourself content creator...
Then they are just content pirates...
Wasn't expecting this from the skybloxk youtuber I watch, hope this blows up.
I still creted quite a few redstone creations over the years, and then one day they took some away from me :/
@@LordJon25 damn that really sucks, It's just weird how they won't credit the original creator even though it takes little to none effort and doesn't really change the audiences perspective of the new channel
What's sadder is that this video is going to be your all time highest viewed, and it's a call out video rather than your normal content.
This time line is the worst
RUclipsrs like stevee and shulkercraft are just stealing potential viewers from smaller minecraft channels its just sad
It got even worse with steveee just straight-up lying 💀
I wonder what happens when players would ask for money, to reupload the video.
They are are willing to share the profits:
Positive situation (win-win).
They don't reupload the video:
Positive situation
They reupload the video without sharing the profit:
The channels can be framed as thieves, and they are more likely to recieve punishment for their actions.
I genuinely hope that this is not going to be a case of companies ripping of small artists, without receiving punishment.
I completely agree, but this is so similar to every other red stone RUclipsr who is posting the exact same thing: crappy people steal ideas from small channels.
I know that this is an important message, but you are going about it in the exact same way, almost to the point of hypocrisy.
I kind of already knew that the redstone contraptions and stuff they showed were not theirs, but I still like watching the videos sometimes because they introduce me to pretty cool things in Minecraft. I don't like how these RUclipsrs don't give credit though
I really respect the original creators of different minecraft topics that's why I left watching those copied creators early before
I agree, I stopped watching these when I realised how much of my time was being taken up spent watching them. It is definitely very scummy what they do
Why did you watch them in the first place, I have lost some respect for you sky.
@@ProBotGamming they were highly addictive. I could just watch one after another for ages, even on Minecraft related things I wasn't really that interested in, so I stopped watching them and they stopped getting recommended to me
@@ProBotGamming I lost respect for you!!!!
Stfu
@@ProBotGamming Don't blame them anyways. It wasn't a really well known fact until only quit a few months ago, and since then a lot of people have stopped watching them.
Honestly it's really f-ed up how they just leech off of good smart ORIGINAL creators
This mans really devil....
Thank you for using Legacy Minecraft mini game music, brings back memories
6:00 Wow, I love the effort put in of banning Steveee via a command block with his name on it to protect hard work. That is amazing.
I bet a Stevee video will come soon: These Minecraft RUclipsrs are EVIL! (Alexa Real, Spectator, etc.) It is a 1-minute video copying the same points as this one and exposing all of them except himself.
Really mean of them to do this
I used to watch some of those channels, thinking that they just used stuff like mods or made their own stuff, not realizing that they actually copied others.
Damn...
I don't watch those stuff anymore, they just became repetitive.
you should watch mine, i dont really steal anything and they are somewhat original (but i suck at doing them)
@@Likemea Telling people you suck at making videos isn't a good idea if you want people to watch them. Don't put people off before they've even seen your content.
@@a_cats im gradually getting better, so please dont worry! i am trying to improve both the quality and length, and also working on expanding our personal studio! i apologize for any problems :)
Everybody should like and comment so the RUclips algorithm recommends this video to more people
Thanks for the information, I used to watch that kind of channels, now that I understand the truth I try to stay away from it
Even though the Minecraft community actively dislikes these youtubers, they blew up because there is a larger portion of Minecraft fans that aren’t tied to the internet at all (not using it frequently like Discord users).
Okay, but that auto-kill command for protecting your world templates and like from would-be thieves is genius!
Congratulations kids, you have now stumbled into the phenomenon of
"Cheap knock offs"
The real life problem has been going on for as long as human civilization had been going on
I didn't even remember that those guys existed
We need to blow this video up boys. Also very good video!
And here I thought I never got another recommendation to them because they got copy right struck to many times.
The worst part is that they stole builds without credits
Ex. Mumbo Jumbo
I used to make this type of vids but the view counts were too unreliable, some of my vids got millions of views while others got hardly any
At least steveee credits the creator… but still…
When he does it’s in the description, and sometimes he doesn’t. Just wow.
I'm pretty sure Steveee never credited until he was called out months ago
@@party11440 even then he still sometimes "forgets" to credit. He just sucks as a person and as a "content creator'
"Evil's soft first touches"
*Gaunter O'Dimm theme starts playing*
Love the reference
Awesome video, greatly highlights the issues ive seen over the years
Thank you so much, yes the issue was here for quite some time, and sadly it wont be gone overnight
@Lord Jon25 It kind of is being gone overnight. A lot of these content creator's are losing views, like, *a lot.* Heck, they don't even get recommended to me anymore.
I'm glad that the algorithm seems to be on your side this time, hope this blows up more
Actually Stevee using more than one account is maybe because after he kept not given credit to mr makistien… people made it so when he does content on their stuff, he can’t record on his main because they just won’t work for him like for makistien I think he made it where it kills Stevee’s main repeatedly XD.
Honestly, I feel like just stealing someone's ideas and doing short vids on it is easy and effective, but I would get bored doing that kind of content
i used to believe these scumbags posted their own ideas, until i found out they aren't. Now i don't watch them anymore but as far as i can tell, they know what they are doing, but they don't care. Because they thought these small youtubers couldn't do anything. This is a No-Jail-No-Fear, it happens everywhere, the only way you could prevent this is gathers all the small youtubers that got copied including the big ones and sue these low-life crisis to their new home behind bars.
Thanks for making this! I knew some content "creators" were stealing from others, but I didn't know it was this bad. I watched a little bit more of your content, and you are so much better than them!
