Pinedale, Wyoming - Green River Lakes, Square Top Mtn, Half Moon Lake

This is an impromptu exploration that spun off a visit to see my great-niece graduate from Pinedale High School. I took the opportunity to explore the area and a few more highlights on the way home to Oklahoma. I hope you enjoy the scenery as much as I did. Of course, pictures and videos are never as good as seeing the actual beauty in person!

Spectacular. Had relatives in Pinedale myself and went there with my folks when I was young. After seeing this video I am headed back that way. Not sure if my relations are still there but my old Auntie could tell me and maybe I can learn what happened to that part of the family. Sure is a pretty part of the country.

What an awesome adventure and you had I got to spend one day there by myself also probably the prettiest scenery I’ve ever seen but the mosquitoes were terrible in June 2022

Wife and I have a fifth wheel and hope to be in this area next week. I have a small 14 ft
Boat and wondered if it is worth pulling it along behind the fifth wheel. Love to fish. WDYT

There is a boat ramp at the lower Green River Lake. It looked like good fishing and I saw a couple of boats while there. The road is rough, but there were several campers of all sizes that were there as well. There are several lakes in the Pinedale area that are good for fishing. Fremont and Halfmoon are easy access from Pinedale.
