I used to have a terrible setup where my phone would be recording my computer while live and was very low quality, i recently lost my phone and have wanted to stream from my computer and this is the only tutorial that has helped me, tysm!!!

Everything works great until i turn on the stream, the stream itself is running smootly but my game is lagging, help please?
Sounds like you might not have enough ram to run both. Try lowering the in-game quality settings

If that's the case then I'd contact streamlabs chat support and they can take a look from their end since 32 is more than enough

I loved this video! Really informative! Only bad thing is that I stream console so I stream from a capture card and I don’t know anyone on here that uses stream labs (since most use obs) and them going through the process.
Also, was trying to see if in your video you’d go over different type of audio stuff. (And kind of explain) because I tried to do this and heard people say that they hear themselves through stream or that they sound too low! Thank you so much for the help’

Only thing I couldn't manage to figure out is how you got that darker side bar to appear in order to test the chat overlay feature (i know you expanded it in your video, but the bar itself just on there on my desktop stream labs- does that need to be activated somewhere in a settings option?? Yeah you can go into the streamlabs settings > appearance > add chat box dock (or its called something similar haha)

everything is fine for the most part, but my only concern is i dont have the arrow to open the stream chat
You can go under the appearance tab under the slobs settings and add the chat dock to the left side :D
So twitch studios is closing and I've looked at stream labs before but I'm grateful for your videos one thing I'm gonna ask is I set my keybinds I was live and testing making sure everything was set up but they ended up breaking and not activate any suggestions

Are you using the num pad by any chance? If you are, make sure the num lock is enabled

I am having trouble setting up my audio channels. Currently all my audio (game sound, discord chat, in game chat, prox chat) keeps recording to 1 channel. So when I want to edit the it I can't split any of the audio from the game play. I am streaming, recording and playing through streamlabs on 1 pc and using my headsets mic. Any guidance will be very much appreciated pls.

Lets say I want to also use this platform to record rection videos to eventually upload to RUclips. How do I edit the height and width of the videos I'm reacting too? I tried scaling them using the borders but I can't seem to get the videos perfectly fitted on my screen in stream labs.
I'd recommend holding down the alt key and drag the sides to crop it to what you need it to be

I understand how to do it for pc Games but how do i add my xbox gameplay to streamlabs on my pc, and Most importantly How can i completely mute the volume on my pc so i can only hear the volume on my tv whislt playing xbox since my tv and pc monitor is right next to each other?

How do you edit the scenes? Also, is there a possible way to test what the streams look like without actually going live? I don’t wanna disturb my viewers and notify them when I’m not doing anything…

I actually used Streamlabs to record, so basically exactly what we did in this video. Then I edited the recording in Davinci Resolve :)
Will this work for streaming on console? but being Able to view it on desktop?
You'd need to use a capture card to connect your console to your pc

Hey man, great video, the only thing I can't get to work is the stream chat; mine is at the right side of the screen but the actual stream chat itself isn't there so I can't type to chat (It says Offline, 0 views, the little pen edit icon and refresh chat but the stream chat box isn't there)
I'd recommend unconnecting and reconnecting your twitch account inside the streamlabs stream settings :D

You can't really pause a live stream since that's literally half of the name in *live* stream 😂 - you can set up a brb scene so you can still be live and go do what you need to do tho haha

I have downloaded the same and on my iPad Pro looks completely different 😢 I having a hard time do you know if it’s different for iPad Pro? 6th gen.
This is for PC/Mac - you'll be using the mobile version which is completely different. Watch my video on how to stream from iPhone and it should be more similar

what if I don't have a separate speaker for the game audio to come through should I use the headphones I'm using for the game audio to come through or should i buy one. Hi, I’m trying to stream from my MacBook and I’ve gotten to the part where I screen capture except it’s not showing up as a option to add to gameplay so I’m not sure what to do😖

I did everything you done in the video, but when I streamed, and someone messaged the chat or followed it don't show up on my screen at all but when your watching from a phone it shows all of the messages and follow notifications on your phone only I do only have one screen right now but I thought those notifications pop up on my screen while I'm playing so I don't have to look at my phone every second or open the stream labs tab
Go into the Streamlabs Settings and go down to Game Overlay, that's what you'll want to experiment with :D

If you want to connect your console to your PC then you can use a capture card and connect it to streamlabs by using a video capture device source

Make sure you didn't accidentally lock your sources under the source list (little lock icon)

It will not, this is for PC only, if you want to connect your Xbox you'll need to buy a capture card to connect it to your PC

Hey bro nice video but I need help, so when I’m setting up my stream labs I tried using the screen capture to capture my game but it won’t capture it so I tried using the video capture device and it gave me a choice of my webcam or the capture device I’m using which is the HD60S+ and I clicked on it and my game pops up and everything is fine but now idk how to get my webcam to pop up since I’m using the video capture device to show my game. Use 2 video capture device source (click add new instead)

Double check you correctly linked your twitch account in the stream settings inside streamlabs (if so, try unlinking and relinking)
