@Cpaws Music about the Broswer source when you change something, in the Source itself in OBS there will be a button right at the bottom called " Refresh cache of current page "
This will refresh the source
So you dont have to keep copying the link each time you change a setting, Try it for yourself and see how easy it is.

So I bought a scene overlay off own3d, it had me sign into own3d pro then go to my dashboard and go to the "my scenes' tab then I see the 'get obs file' button so I click it and it promted me with the microsoft store to download a JSON file formater. So I started formating the file and it brought up the script in code to run said overlay, so i thought maybe it was just my overlay that i chose so i found yours and tried it that way and still did the same thing. Also my files from own3d are inaccessible via the files on my pc. But from the own3d dashboard its all in one fill and not organized for specific things like yours is. PLS HELP!
Okay so take a deep breath haha. So own3d has 2 branches. 1. Is own3d.tv where you can individually purchase packs and they'll give you the files which you can download. They should include the video media files so you don't need all that json stuff (they also include those files but you don't need them). 2. They have own3d pro which is a subscription service which gives you access to their dashboard and hundreds of different overlays however they don't give you the download files which means you lose access to them after you cancel your subscription. Hopefully this helps!

@@CpawsMusic Question, when I'm done setting up everything and I started streaming. OBS just kept reconnecting and disconnecting the stream. May I know how to fix this?
Sounds like you need to pick a different encoder in your stream output settings

My friend is trying to set up botrix for his chat, he has everything setup correctly but the chat still isn’t appearing in the stream obs
Huh that's odd. I'd recommend posting in the botrix discord and they can take a closer look 😄

Great video, almost done with my setup. Just one question though, how do I get my webcam overlays to show up in the folder? they all disappear when I open it through OBS but not the original file location? I keep missing a step but I don't know which one.

I am having trouble hearing sound from the app I’m trying to use (FL Studio) using my headphones. I’ve tried changing mic/auxiliary settings to my headphones and still can’t hear anything. Any help?
Usually for FL Studio it's because they use the ASIO drivers, you'll want to do some digging around that

I'd recommend adjusting your stream output settings inside obs
hey im having some trouble with obs saying failed to connect to server when i try to go live. I did everything in this vid and cant really seem to figure out the problem was wondering if you could help?
Try resetting your stream key and replacing it in obs and if that doesn't work then try using a different stream encoder under your obs output settings

I got the Kick chat in my OBS, but I can't get it to go on the screen using the source for browser. I've double checked everything and it's just not working
try making a new browser source url for the chat :D
@@CpawsMusic Yes I have done this, after I put my Botrix URL in the browser source. I proceed to type in the Kick Chat and nothing is shown on the OBS Scene. It shows on the side panel of OBS where I have my Kick chat attached, but it'snot showing on the actual Scene. I've tried different syles so the URL changes, but nothing is working.

So idk idk if im missing something but when i connect my stream url and stream key from kick to obs, my stream doesnt appear on my channel and doesnt even say im online...but obs says I am...is there a reason for this?
Usually that means you need to reset and replace your stream key
The chat bot refuses to send the command so that I can link BotRix and Kick. I've spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out why and fix it, but I can't find anything.
I'd recommend posting in the botrix discord, they should be able to point you to the solution :D

First you can extract the file you get, then you can manually import the overlay graphics as image sources in obs studio :D

How do i stop OBS from capturing Discord audio while i stream/record? I wan't to talk to my friend when i stream but i don't really want them to hear him especially if we aren't gaming together at the moment. Please make a video on how to separate audio in OBS for Kick.
You'll likely need a 3rd party audio software to route the audio which I don't have on the channel yet :/ But I'll add it to the list :)

Hi, i have set up my obs to stream on kick, but when i am recording and after i have done a tester i go to play back the video and all i get is a static hazyness like you used to get on a old analog tv. but i have also done the same tester and set up obs for streaming on youtube. after the tester on that my video plays perfect with audio and visual. i dont want to lose anything i have gained on kick so. if anyone knows a solution i will be ever so so grateful if you could help me, i just cant understand why it works on youtube but not kick

You'll need a capture card to connect your console to OBS

cpaws i have a issue, almost every stream my obs disconnects and reconnects, my wifi upload speed is fine i live in a house with 7 people, i recently just switched my memory card in my laptop for more gb, and my bitrate isn't too high, all this and my streams still disconnect, how do i fix this?
Try using a different encoder
