This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on this install. Thank you for the detail. I’m doing exact install soon as I receive my parts. Thanks for the awesome video.
I pre-lubed all of my bushings and bolts before I installed them and then again after the installation was complete but prior to putting the wheels back on.
How did you make the whole trailer levitate so that it was easy to jack up axles? If only my old rusty dry bolts punched out of the splines from the trailer brackets that easy! Had to heat them up considerably and beat the crap out of them. Great video, thanks
It was magic...or a 4 post lift along with a floor jack/jack stands to support the trailer axle. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Lippert/LC52SV.html
Do you know if it's the zerk fitting or the bolt that's the problem? You should be able to unscrew the zerk. Can you check to see if any grease made it through?
Great video. I'm doing my upgrade today. The instructions say to install the grease fittings on the inside away from the wheel. Is there a reason you put them on the outside?
I have a 2022 imagine xls 22 mle, the shackles I need are the 3 1/8 as you said in video? And I will do exactly what you did and replace all bushings to 9/16 bushings?
