Damnnnnnn! Wow man wicked demo. I just scored this second hand and now I can’t wait to get it in the mail! Dude your playing is perfectly suited to this bad boy! Instant subscribe man 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Hey Anthony, Thank you so much man! Thanks for checking out the video and for the kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I love Octave fuzz pedals. I’m releasing a demo soon of the new Beetronics octave fuzz too, the Vezzpa. It’s similar, but it’s a different beast altogether The Octahive is my favourite octave fuzz that I’ve ever tried or owned. I hope you love yours when it arrives!
Thank you man! Yeah with the octave off, even thought its a fuzz, it kinda sits more in the overdrive territory on lower gain settings. Beetronics make some amazing stuff. Their pedals never fail to impress me.
Enjoyed it as always Leigh. I'm still getting my feet wet as far a fuzz goes but I liked it. I'm having a lot of fun figuring pedals out. Thanks for the assist! Later
Oh man, fuzz is a fun old world to get into!! It took me a while to figure it out too. The fuzz pedal that really sold it for me was a Fender pedal called The Pelt. It's the most versatile fuzz I've ever found and you can make it subtle or insane. My problem with fuzz was that some fuzz pedals I tried were just too much. They were either too boomy or too glitchy.
Yeah you definitely need one of each! haha. Silicon is a bit sharper sounding. More top end, more attack. Germanium is a lot warmer and rounder in the tone. More vintage sounding.
A lot of their stuff is fairly tame to be fair, the Swarm is an exception to the rule!! hahaha They do a pedal called the Royal Jelly which is a Fuzz and Overdrive hybrid which is insane! You can dial in any tone imaginable.

Yes - I finally got mine today haha.
Awesome!! What do you think of it?
@@LeighFugeGuitar it’s great really enjoying, octave can be tricky to dial in, all the tones are there though - you’re vid is well accurate!
Killer pedal! Especially with the octave off its a really usable tone.
I like rolling the guitar tone off in an upper octave Fuzz.
Thank you man!

You just convinced me to get this pedal!
Amazing! It's a fantastic pedal! I love mine, hope you love it when you get it!
@@LeighFugeGuitar I look forward to it - thanks!

@@LeighFugeGuitar That one is a silicon fuzz and I am trying to sort the difference in that and the germanium circuit. One of each?

To me, Germanium also feels more responsive to things like dynamics and volume movements on the guitars volume pot.
Dude I love this. It actually is really toned down for a Beetronix pedal lol

Sick smoky tones!
Smokey and fuzzy! All the best kinda tones!
