The Bird's Nest founder & tiny dweller, Robyn, developed the village as a way to financially support herself during retirement, and she plans to keep it permanently affordable. It's organically grown into a fun, supportive, gated community of women who are living their best lives together! Men are welcome, too.😉 Enjoy a community tour, a tour of an Incredibox full-time tiny house rental (now available!) & a bunkhouse travel trailer home! 👉 *Tour Cheryl's cute tiny house at the village:* ruclips.net/video/KbV_xgkXv8M/видео.htmlsi=bIGMLnXo68K5oKNC

This is just the BEST tiny home video. A group of great ladies, who r all there for each other, a landlord who is kind and generous! Has a gated area, pets, community center, fire pit gathering! My favorite part, is the young lady & son who are now living in safety and learning about how much they r cared about and included. It was so heartwarming watching her son have his kitten, helping with firewood, learning to drive the big mower. Getting to do things and have things in their so much better lives now since they have escaped from a violent life. She’s getting a wealth of knowledge and support from this wonderful community she is now a part of. 😊♥️♥️♥️

Robyn, you have created a real-life "Golden Girls" supportive community. It takes hard work and dedication, not to mention money to create a safe haven. Times are tough and life can be hard on all of us. I love what you have created and the plans you have to improve it all even more. If I lived there I'd be gardening and landscaping 24/7. You have the perfect place to create different gardens. Get some shade trees, flowering trees, scented trees, flowers and bushes. Design a day or night-scented blooming garden (or a Moon Garden) to escape the Texas heat - maybe around or on the way to your firepit area to start. Build a waterfall or set up a birdbath or two, and surround it with herbs for cooking, tea and for your health. I saw another video with your tenant who is into permaculture. Organic food but only whatever you actually like to eat, fruits, nuts, veggies and flowers everywhere. Every paradise requires critters, splashing water, pretty flowers, and (edible) greenery. Good luck to you and all the ladies (and the men that might join) may you thrive and prosper - it looks like you are already living your best life. Thx for the tour, I hope the people who need you most will find you through this video. More power to you!

I would love for it to be a place where older creative people could live together affordably. Thanks for showing us your world!

What a lovely community to call home. This is well done. I've heard of bigger, manufactured double-wide homes with real streets and driveways, but the rent and mortgages are too high and could price people out any any time. Affordability this way, for any single person to start up herself, offers more than the basic home, but a special community well thought out.

I absolutely love this concept and their community is full of some incredible, strong and wonderful people! It's always struck me as sad that people who go tiny tend to be quite independent and even though their footprint is smaller than a house, it still seemed odd to me that so many have a full size kitchen, and a laundry, etc etc. I might be biased because I don't really cook, but I'm a big fan of joining a group of tiny livers and sharing just like these women do. It creates a sense of community, network, sharing, safety and it also reduces your footprint. Thanks for the video!
