Six Flags America trip 4/6/2024: Does this park deserve its less than stellar reputation?

Bringing Allie to Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, MD for her very first visit to the park. Additionally, this will only be my second visit to the park, so we were definitely excited for a day of riding! Allie's chase for 200 credits took a big win today by gaining several new ones!

We live about 20 mins from this park and sadly haven't been in a few years. I've grown up here and have been coming since it was called Wild World. Unfortunately, there was an incident in the parking lot leaving one evening that resulted in us deciding to go other places. However, we're going to check out the new Wild West/Steam Punk area when it opens to see what they've done with Mind Eraser and now to check out Roar based on your review! I've recently started a theme park vlog with my daughters, so watching this brought a smile to my face!

Nothing better than being in the park with my family! I would definitely suggest giving them another chance and check out the newly refreshed area when it opens! I'll check out the channel and keep my eyes out for your thoughts once you visit!

We shall see what happens with the Cedar Fair merger. Hopefully some tidying up, fresh paint where needed on rides/buildings, new landscaping, and nicer food options. The layout is just weird since it was a safari at one point.
