My theory is Ludwig loans his castle to the King when he's not using it
@@nm5329 or prehaps it's the other way around.
Personally, I find the idea of Harkinian, the supposed "King of Hyrule", only having a temporary castle thanks to a Koopaling of all characters to be significantly funnier than if it was the other way around.
(Especially if you consider how many YTPs characterize him as oafish and silly, it would make more sense).

the music at 4:09 is so goofy and sillly and wacky, I wish there was like, a standalone way to listen to it.
and the ending music, from the part where they walk away and say you're the best player ever, it's oddly satisfying? I just love the little synths.

Originally meant for Iggy's hotel, which was meant to come in between Ludwig's and Wendy's, but it got scrapped apparently because some higher-up didn't like the design, so the music is only heard in that cutscene

You know, if the gameplay didn't suck, I don't think any of these cutscenes would've subtracted from the experience in an unironic sense in the same way that Animation Magic's cutscenes do. The character designs are reasonably on point for a third party, and the humor in this game was far more intentional.
So THIS is the pre-audio recording of what Marc Grau would voice later on.
From an ADR perspective, this makes sense, because voice clips are separate from music that would be added later on down the pipeline.
