I love the Army, Marines, Navy, because in the Air Force enlisted we sent the Officers out to do the work. We loved the other forces enlisted. I was in a SOW unit first 3 years then 7 F-16 avionics.

Niko there is a competition inside Ranger Battalion too. Its every single day, every day you have to prove you belong there. Everything is graded, everything is timed, and everything is a competition.

I live like 15 minutes from Ft Benning. I’ve been there several times, I grew up around it and meeting soldiers that trained and work there. Everyone in my area still calls it Ft Benning. No one I’ve talked to wants to call it Ft Moore.
Bro, 3rd Inf Regiment is NOT 3rd ID, 3rd Reg is the Old Guard that's up in DC/ Arlington Cemetery, 3rd ID (unit I was in) is Fort Benning/ Moore (yes, the base name change is stupid I agree, it'll always be Benning to me) and Ft. Stewart.

I'm currently in high school, and am already set on enlisting in the Army, and hopefully I'll qualify to become a field medic considering I've already spent my summer working at the hospital and seeing bodies getting rolled down to the morgue, so I'm somewhat desensitized to it by now. Since I am still in highschool though, and I have a few years until I graduate, does anyone here have any advice on JROTC? Should I join next year? Does it prepare kids at all for the military? Is it relevant or at all useful? The JROTC kids at my school have more attitude that a 12 year old girl with a vape, but I still want to join if it will prepare me. Please give your advice; it would be much appreciated. Much thanks.
I'm not in JROTC, but a police program that I assume is similar. I'd say go for it. Even if you don't go down the military route, it teaches you valuable life skills like posture, command presence, etc.
Do jrotc, it gets you a higher grade upon enlistment which directly translates to higher starting pay

Tab means you can do it.

Nikko we have 2 3rd infantry regiments. One is the Old Guard the other is the actual 3rd ID
Old Guard don’t count, they’re ceremonial soldiers. I finished my time there.
3rd ID is a division, not a regiment. I did my time in the Old Guard (3rd infantry reg), too. We were pretty babied and pampered, but it also depends on when you were stationed there.
