Had no idea Dave Mason was in FM. One of the underrated rockers from the 70s.
So great to hear from Dave Mason. Such a great musician, and seems like a regular guy.
Time is a great Fleetwood Mac album. I play it all the time!
Thanks for another Dave Mason video. I’ve always loved Dave’s version of Take It to the Limit. Beautiful!
Wow I thought I knew a lot about music.... I am a huge FM fan and never knew Dave was briefly with FM.
Dave Mason ,love his music through these years . Great voice, awesome albums. Bridge of Sighs my fav.
Yes, that TIME album era (1995) Fleetwood Mac didn't hit the spot. Mick Fleetwood really needs & loves to play and with Lindsey & Stevie no longer in the band at the time, he assembled this version of Fleetwood Mac for a short period. The album didn't even chart in the US! Mick not only loves playing, it allowed him to pay the bills which may explain why he took this particular band out on the road.
Good FM album "Time" 👍
Fleetwood mac has a stunning history but if you were around at their beginning you remember and realise that Peter Green was and is the the very heart and soul that is Fleetwood Mac. The Green Manalishi with the two pronged crown is one thing but the three pronged lead guitar set up that Peter incorporated into the Mac was just sensational especially on live appearances that level of artistry never been equalled.
Absolutely impossible to completely replace Lindsey Buckingham.
Dave doesn’t really say much in interviews. He can be vague and rather frustrating. He contradicts so many commonly held assumptions. Either way, a major talent that deserves a bigger audience and more attention. Maybe there’s a good reason why that is.
Oh yeah… the “Time” era/lineup.
Fake Fleetwood Mac. Im not interested.
