haha, it's okay, it's fun to watch it again. I love Jessie J on this competition as she has shown a different side of her. since you are on Singer 2018, can you please check out another contestant on the same competition, in fact, this season is dominated by both of them, Hua Chenyu is a Chinese singer and songwriter which is famous for his powerful vocals and the way he interprets emotions through song is amazing. Please check out his performance "Child" and "Nunchucks"
Child and Nunchucks were very good songs in Singer 2018, especially Nunchucks. This song is so rock and combined multiple music elements into this song. Please react to these 2 songs.

Jessie J is absolutely unbelievable, incredible technique, perfect stage presence, undoubtedly one of the best singers in history, and my western favourite singer, You should do reactions to all her performances on The Singer (there are no words to describe her version of My heart Will go On)

@@SSTVocalCoach And it would be lovely to ear all your thoughts on her performances, there is a guy that participated on the same year as her, his name is Hua Chenyu, i strongly recomend you to also react to him, I don't wanna put the hype up but he is considered a musical genious by the chinese (i personaly think he is the genious of our era, although he hates that nickname) and it was a surprise for chinese people when Jessie 'defeated' him mainly caus' the show had been inviting him to participate since the beggining
Jessie J is so underrated. IMO, she really shines singing the classics and really showcased her talent on Singer in a way that we don't see in her pop music. Her cover of Killing Me Softly is amazing.

I actually wasn’t too keen on Jessie J a few
Years ago, because she had a habit of being overly playful in her style. Many (not all) of her performances ended up with her just riffing all over the place and adding in vocal pops and clicks and all sorts. It just looked like she was showboating and allowing her vocal proficiency to take centre stage over the message of her music.
I feel like Singer forced her to rethink her approach and, because the songs were not hers and instead songs of *her* idols, she needed to respect the original artists intent and perform the songs with more restraint. It rounded her style out and made her soar.
Hopefully she runs with this and takes her rightful place as one of the best female singers of her time.
....sorry for the rant there 😂
@@SSTVocalCoach I like your point about rethinking the approach. I hope it sticks and she can apply it to her own songwriting because she really is one of the best female vocalists out there.
@@SSTVocalCoach oh... and I looked through your videos and didn't see anything from Sohyang. You don't want to miss her.... she's my vocal Queen. I'd love to see a reaction to "Everyone". It's a masterpiece. Word of caution... make sure you pause and comment and don't play it straight through... KBS (Korean TV) doesn't like that . You'll have plenty to say, I'm sure.
