I am so glad Jessie J got the champion in this show at the end! It's also her last song in this stage. She sang this song " I will always love you" from her heart. You can feel she cherished the stage and the audience so much at that moment. Thank you Jessie!

On an earlier episode of the show, when Hua (sorry can't spell) entered Wang Feng asked him a question. He replied that first you have to attain the technical mastery to sing the song, after you have this you are able to find the emotion for it. After I stopped crying after watching this, this thought is what I remembered. It wasn't enough to sing the most technically difficult pop songs ever written. Other people can do that. It's not enough to just sing it, because this song can be very corny. You have to be able to sing it perfectly AND to live the song, that is why Whitney was peerless. In this song Jessie did something that few people on the planet could do. I am a UK guy who did not appreciate Jessie so much before this show, or know this show existed. But because of seeing the viral video, I have now watched all the shows as well as the other performers. The producers of the show, unlike our reality tv are artists themselves. They want to give a platform for the most gifted. They wanted to hire the best of the West to compete with the best of China. When they hired Jessie, I think many thought that they hired the biggest name they could get that would go to China for three months. No! They did hire the best from the West. Jessie is no longer an average pop star, who is unappreciated. She is now the Diva of her generation and we should give her the love she deserves.

I think that's the truth. I'm hoping this win and performance will make a difference and the noise will reach back to LA & London. Her songs like "Price Tag" are not bad songs, but they are not songs that she should be singing, in my opinion she should never have been doing those songs but she definitely should not be now. Writers don't have anybody else to write epics and ballads for, so I hope some take the challenge. I will also be honest & this is not shade. Her style and body positive attitude I admire. But again, it's too much of a focus in her career so far. If she wears hot pants, high heels and a crop top on live tv performance then it draws focus from her talent. Because of the Chinese culture and censorship, she did not have those choices. I thought her styling and outfits were a dream from start to finish because of it. It's not that she, or other pop stars shouldn't express themselves the way they want when dressing. It's just in my opinion, if the object is to be desired, she was so much more desirable with this hair, makeup and costuming. I am also now convinced she could play a lead in a large hollywood musical, which I'd also love to see.

The last episode of the show was on national live so no autotune was applied (although the videos of each singer you see now are already edited with autotune). Jessie J was the only one who didnt need autotune and still sang perfectly and so touching. Given this song is one of the most difficult out there, she is just simply amazing.
Ortree yes, the autotune thing (and maybe even lip syncing) is something that many people don’t realize about the production of previous episodes of this show. The finale proved that Jessie J is in a class by herself.
Budiman Snowman I agree, but the thing is that autotune and other production aids have created an unrealistic expectation of perfection. And look at the other much less “perfect” performances in this episode for comparison.
This performance of this song is the only time I’ve felt that same feeling I get when I hear Whitney sing it. It is almost exact to Whitney but Jessie makes it her own with just the smallest of nuances here and there. Jessie J is truly TRULY a gift that we are blessed to have. Going back to this performance after seeing the write ups about her. It's so sad that some UK press do not acknowledge her talent. They didn't even research thoroughly saying this is an X-factor equivalent in China. Like where did that come from? Do they think everything is about them?Why can't they be proud of her? She won over the professional singers across Asia! JJ is proud and happy to represent UK but they are too proud of themselves, it's making me angry although I'm not much of a fan of her but I do recognize her talent and enjoy listening to her songs. I couldn't imagine how her die hard fans felt when their idol became a laughing stock by some in her own country.
She didn't become a laughing stock in her own country, yes many people did not appreciate her talent but her true fans DID. You also have to understand that most of the songs she realeased here did not showcase this amazing voice like this. i wouldn't say perfect. there are minor out of pitch tones here and there but i think understandable.
it took her a little time to reach one sustaining note but it is understandable for live vocal performances

Going back to this performance after seeing the write ups about her. It's so sad that some UK press do not acknowledge her talent. They didn't even research thoroughly saying this is an X-factor equivalent in China. Like where did that come from? Do they think everything is about them?Why can't they be proud of her? She won over the professional singers across Asia! JJ is proud and happy to represent UK but they are too proud of themselves, it's making me angry although I'm not much of a fan of her but I do recognize her talent and enjoy listening to her songs. I couldn't imagine how her die hard fans felt when their idol became a laughing stock by some in her own country.
She didn't become a laughing stock in her own country, yes many people did not appreciate her talent but her true fans DID. You also have to understand that most of the songs she realeased here did not showcase this amazing voice like this. I mean I have to admit that she has a much bigger voice than even I thought an si have always been a fan. It is incredible and I reckon we could be looking at the next Whitney. That voice will certainly touch the whole world the way Whitneys did. One day!
big facts im a die hard fan of jessie j and it enrages me when I think of how under-appreciated by her own country and so many others. Like yall worship the ground these mumble rappers and singers walk on, but this woman~ this absolute queen.. smh
She is loved over here in the UK. But the songs she released didn't showcase her vocal range. I had no idea she had this amazing powerful voice. We do love our JJ over here.

第一 音樂本身就是主觀的，無論你看過多少現場的影片，大多都是你的偏好。我也看過很多惠妮的影片，我仍然認為她比較優秀，所以你說的「事實」根本毫無根據。
第二 倘若今天歌曲的原唱本身就不是以唱功出名，那自然很容易比較高下。但是今天你舉出的惠妮，她本身不論是「唱功」還是音樂產業的貢獻，成就實力就擺在那，世人皆認為她的vocal 就是優秀，你當然很容易被質疑。
第三 當被質疑的時候，那麼容易就攻擊意味那麼重的話反而讓人覺得你講不起，人生可能過得很辛苦🥹。
