    • @MapleFarmer
      @MapleFarmer  Год назад +1

      yes we get damage from trees, snow and wildlife. It is why we walk all of our lines before the season begins, after storms, and continuously during maple season!

    Do you ever need to replace the mainlines over the years from bacteria build up? Or does annual cleaning allow the mainline to be up until there's damage and need to be replaced?

    • @MapleFarmer
      @MapleFarmer  7 месяцев назад +1

      we replace all of our lines about every 10 years. However, cleaning them keeps them in pretty good shape!

  • @Sawyersmaple
    @Sawyersmaple Год назад

    How come you are using plastic fittings in the woods?
    We switched to all stainless steel fittings years ago, because the plastic ones would break all the time in the cold or when a tree came down on the pipe. I know they are more expensive but I highly recommend them.

    • @MapleFarmer
      @MapleFarmer  Год назад +1

      we use stainless in our high wind areas. We also replace all of our lines about every 10 years and walk our lines continuously throughout the season so we never seem to have much of an issue.
