Yes, Fishing is huge business anywhere in the world. I know people in Malaysia also love fishing too. I felt the need for more construction for fishing spots within city areas.

If I managed to get a car to drive to more remote parts is it possible to catch some bigger fish? or would you say it is mostly fished out? Hoping to try freshwater as well. Hi Entering the resort does not require permission. I am not sure if there is any change over time but at least went went there several times no one stopped as there are restaurants, golf course, cafe too, so it should be open to every potential customers. If you go to remote parts, it much depends on where you go rather than just going to remote areas. I recommend Kudat if you are prepared to drive 3 hours east
